Previously in chapter 1 : Hagiri came back to find his girlfriend at his place. After a sweet talk with Botan, they go to sleep but the girl's bed antics prevented him from getting his well deserved rest. He's planned a revenge against her ... What could it be ?

PART II

The sunlight flashing through the window woke her up. She rubbed her eyes gently and opened them, staring at the alarm clock for some seconds before widening her eyes upon realizing she slept more than she intented to in the first place 'Shit, Keiko !'.

She prodded herself up quickly and leaned over the young man lying next to her, softly murmuring in a sing song voice "Kaname, wake up ~".

Not getting any response from him, she started tickling his sides, a mischievous smile playing on her lips "Hey, don't tell me you're planning on sleeping in during your weekend ! It's nine already, wake up !"

Hagiri let out a growl as he shoved her hands away "Fuck off."

"Hey don't be so rough you meanie !" she protested, clutching her hands to her chest "Geez what did I even do ?"

"I don't need you to nag me on my day off, serves you right." his voice was as plain and emotionless as ever. He brought the blanket closer to him, uncovering her shivering legs in the process.

"I was just trying to gently wake you up."

He scoffed and then turned to her, smirking teasingly "You could have done it in a different way ..."

She tilted her head to the side, narrowing her amethyst eyes "How ?"

Her clueless question gained her a frustrated sigh from the dark haired boy "You're hopeless, and then I'm the one you're calling dense." he stated with a weak voice as he closed sleepily his eyes.

Botan chuckled lightly and leaned in closer to him, observing worriedly his current state : dark circles and huge bags were under his eyes and his complexion was paler than usual, almost sickly. She quickly concluded he didn't get enough sleep last night and wondered what could have possibly prevented him to before the vibrating sound of a phone could be heard.

Hagiri shot his eyes open and tried to get up before being pushed back on the bed by the blue haired girl "No it's mine, stay inside the blanket." he blinked a few times, absent mindly watching his girlfriend put the device to her ear and gulping nervously, sweat rolling along the side of her face. He could faintly hear the Yukimura girl's reprimands towards the blunette, to say she seemed pissed off was an understatement. He could understand her anger and knew it wasn't that deep, but he somewhat couldn't stop the displeasure he felt at Botan being scolded by someone else. Despite the smile she was flashing at the moment, he could still decern some gloominess in her eyes and exchange with Keiko which made him want to take her in his arms and not let her go anywhere but that would be selfish and an overreaction coming from him.

As she settled for a new meeting hour with her friend, the blue haired girl hang up and got up from bed, grabbing her folded clothes from the desk's chair "I'm going to my place now, shower, have a breakfast and then we'll go shopping with the girls. I'll probably be back around four or five."

He hummed lightly and made himself more comfortable in the bed, careful not to look at her while she was changing "Don't stay past five or I'll send the police after your ass."

"Oh wow now you're concerned about my safety, how sweet ! Scarred that I might be kidnapped by some criminal ?" she asked, fluttering her eyelashes cutely at him.

"Hn, knowing you, you'll probably be the one to scare him off."

Botan puffed her cheeks like a little child and stomped out of the room angrily. Just before closing the door she looked back at Hagiri and made a shooting move towards him "Just wait till I'm back, I'll make sure to melt that iron heart of yours."

He eyes twitched at his girlfriend ridiculous declaration "That pick up line was tragic, aren't you tired of babbling nonsense ?"

The girl's shoulders dropped at the rejection "Okay you won, for now." she closed the door with a loud bang. He could hear her running down the hall and exiting his apartment before locking it from the outside. He took a look at the clock on the other side's bedside and smirked, he had time, he will sleep some couple of hours and then wake up to execute what he planned for today 'I wonder what would be your reaction Botan?'

Just like excepted Botan came back to his place around ten to five. She happily unlocked his home's door and entered the apartment "I'm home ~" She sang as she took off her coat and hang it on the hatstand.

The blunette headed towards the living room, smiling to herself as she noticied how neat and clean everything looked 'Amazing, he's probably as tidy as Kurama'. From the outside Hagiri looked just like an emotionless and done with life guy but he was probably one of the only person she actually could understand why they would want to live alone. He was a really good cook, probably better than her, he managed his time well, did the chores and never left his place before it was cleaned. Although he would never admit it, he actually liked his job and gave his all to be aknowledged and efficient at his workplace. He knew how to spend his money, took enough care of himself to always appear presentable no matter the situation and had quite good looks to boost.

The only cons to him were probably his lack of emotions and his arrogant nature, but even so, it didn't really bother her. He wasn't a bad person, he was just misunderstood and had difficulties to express himself well. She knew he had a kind and fluffy side to him, and actually succeeded to make it pop up more than once which made her quite proud of herself. Even though alcohol had to be involved in those attempts.

She went to the kitchen and placed carefully the plastic bag she was holding on the counter, took the items out and ranged them on the fridge. She then retrieved a juice cane and thirstily gulped it down, taking a sit next to the island and taking an adorable plushy out of her backpack.

"Now now aren't you so cute ?" she pinched the small purple bear on it's soft belly and smiled to herself, remembering when she picked it up at the shop earlier.

"Botan I though you wanted to buy a present for Hagiri, why are we here ?" Keiko looked dumbfunded at the blunette who seemed to be excitedly looking around for something. She followed her friend to a new section and hurried towards a small blue bird plushy "Aww I love that !"

Botan grabbed a bear from the shelves and held it up for the brown haired girl to see "What about this one ? Isn't it just like him ?"

Keiko lifted an eyebrow, confused at what her friend meant "What do you mean ? Are you planning to give him this ?" she took the light purple bear in her arms "Well … It kind of is reminiscent of his eye color but I can't see your boyfriend in this small bear, it looks too cute."

The blunette gigled as she took back the plushy and held it to her chest "If only you knew." her gaze then fell on the blue bird tucked under Keiko's left arm "Oh this one is just like Yusuke ! No wonder it caught your attention !"

Her friend blushed like crazy and looked bashfully at the soft toy, realizing that she in fact saw a ressemblance with her fiancee "Hum … Well it kind of does." she smiled as she pated it on it's head.

Botan smiled softly and gave the bear one more stroke along its sparkling fur. As she finished the last drop of her drink, she stood up, curiously wondering why the house was so calm. Ever since she came back, no signal of any living being showed up. She though he might have been out for a walk but remembered his shoes and jacket were still there in the hall 'Is he still sleeping ?'

She headed quietly towards his bedroom and opened slowly the door-

"Took you long enough to check on whether I was still alive or not."

She jumped out of her skin at her boyfriend's sudden statement "You scarred me !" she put her hand above her heart and took some time to regain her composure. She then looked up and glared at him, ready to blow up when she noticed something was off. The blunette looked at his sitting form up and down "Why are you looking so … nice right now ? Are you planning on going somewhere ?"

He scoffed at her question, passing a hand in his hair "Am I not allowed to make myself attractive in my own home ?"

'You are always attractive dumbass' she wanted to blurt out, but did not as she knew he would probably tease her further with it. She caugh scent of musc coming from him and came closer "I mean, why are you looking nicer than usual ? You smell so good, your hair is so fluffy and glossy, that white shirt compliments your physical just well and … ohh I never noticed how muscular were your arms until now !"

Hagiri chuckled, obviously pleased by the compliments she just adressed him. He smirked mockingly at the death glare she launched at him and pinched her cheeks "You'll know why soon enough." but she brushed his hands off and shoved the purple bear to his chest "What is this ?"

"A gift" she smiled brightly at him "I thought it looked just like you so I bought it."

He looked back and forth between her and the plushy, puzzlement all over his features "You do think I look like this ?"

"Yes, you're so cute !" she chimmed in unaware of whatever was going through his mind.

He abruptly stood up and walked calmly towards the door, not looking back at her. She feared she had gone too far and was about to apologize but instead of quitting the room, he closed it and finally turned towards her. "Kaname ?"

"You do think I'm cute ? I'm not cute Botan. If you think I am, I'll show you it's not the case at all."

She gulped, cowering a little farther in the bed "Why did you close the door ?"

"You'll see." he put the plushy she bought him inside the closet and came towards the bed, his gait completely relaxed, nuancing Botan's stiff form against the bed head.

"I don't like suspense, I want to know." In her head multiple sinister scenarios in which both their names were on the news played retentlessly 'Girl gets her head chopped off by her boyfriend' 'A man decides to feed his beautiful partner to stray dogs' Did he dress in white so he could releash on her blood even more ? she felt her soul leave her body as something shifted next to her.

He sat on the side of the bed and looked at her concerned "I don't see why you're so terrified, what I'm planning is just taking my revenge on you," he paused and added as she became even paler "Don't worry it doesn't involve me killing or torturing you."

She felt slightly relieved but didn't make any move to come closer to him, instead she titled her head, curious as to what she had even done to deserve the consequences of a revenge "Why would you even do that ?"

"Do you remember when I told you to be quiet ?" he asked as he unbottoned the first two top bottons of his shirt.

"Hum … Yeah ?"

He glared at her "You actually weren't quiet. Not at all. I wasn't able to close my eyes that night."

Botan frowned, understanding a little better why he had been so tired earlier. Feeling guilt she bowed her head slightly "I'm so sorr-". However she didn't get to finish her apology as he silenced her with his finger against her lips.

"An apology now wouldn't do anything. I already made up my mind, you won't escape your punishment." he stated flatly.

She sweat dropped "Wait … Punishment ? What are you planning exactly ?" she shuddered at the look and smirk he gave her.

"We're going to play a game," he passed his thumb against her lower lip, never once breaking their eyelock "The rules are simple, all you have to do is staying quiet, not making any noise. Leave the rest to me. Whatever way I'll deal with the game round you'll still be strictly prohibited to make any noise. "

The blunette stared at him for awhile, his words slowly sinking in before her cheeks flared up just before his amused eyes "W-What the hell ! Don't tell me ... y-you idiot !"

"I see you caugh on the game's nature real quick." he grabbed her by the shoulders and pushed her down on the bed gently. He looked at the blushing mess she was turning into and lowered his face a inch away from hers "I won't force it on you, if you don't want to, tell me."

He was kind of sure she would be against it and was totally prepared to give up on that revenge thing but she silently gazed at him, and nodded quietly which surprised him greatly "So you're okay with it ?"

"Yes. But if I win, you're making lasagna for dinner."

He blinked perplexed but a smile soon settled on his features "Kay." he unbottoned completely his shirt and untied her hair, bringing a strand of it to his lips "Let's start."

"It wasn't that hard now was it ?" a mischievous Hagiri asked as he peered at Botan. She was wrapped in his sheets like a spring roll, her face flushed pink and her dumpling cheeks puffed.

"It was ! I wasn't execpting that many rounds !" her shouts were barely audible, just like whispers.

He bite his lips, trying so hard to not laugh at her current state "But I did lift the noise ban during the last one, I initially said you had to shut that little mouth during the whole game." Deep down he felt a little bad about making her go through this but her strong reactions were just too adorable for him to not tease her.

"By the time we arrived to that last round I was exhausted ! My voice was already so weak ! Tsk But you seemed to enjoy it" she burried her face on the pillow, wishing she had enough energy left to stand up and tickle him until he couldn't think straight anymore.

"I did enjoy it." he responded too casually for her taste. But hey ! At least he was honest.

"Hn. I always knew you were a closeted pervert anyway."

He smoothened his shirt and buttoned it up. As he leaned towards her and left a feather like kiss on her uncovered shoulder, he whispered "You must be a pervert too since you went along with it."

She grabbed an other cushion and tried hitting him with it but it was too late as he was already exiting the room "Get Lost ! Hagiri Kaname !"

Botan laid back down and stared at the ceiling for the longest time she could. He came back after only thirthy minutes, a garnished tray on his hands.

As he sat down next to her, she hungrily studied the plates full of mouth watering food.

"How did you cook all of this in so little time ?" she took a bite of her food and executed a little happiness dance "It tastes soooo good !"

"Practice. Maybe if you dropped by more often I would teach you."

She looked at him with sparkling eyes "For real ? You would do that ?" as he nodded to her she rested her head on his shoulder "You'll need a lot of patience but thank you."

As they were finishing their dinner he said out of the blue "I liked it". Botan looked at him, her eyes silently telling him to go on "I liked that plushy you brought." he put his plate and glass back on the tray, checking up the sheets for any food strain.

She smiled, pecking him on the cheek and handing over her flatware aswell. He cameback on the room and instead of going staight up to her, went to his wardrobe and retrieved the small purple bear. He flopped down into the bed with her and held the toy as if it was a small baby "What would be his name ?"

She grinned, poking the bear on it's nose "So you already decided it was a boy ? Hmm … What about Haru ? "

Hagiri seemed to ponder the proposition for some moments before he shook his head "A three syllables name would be better."

"Let me guess, a three syllables name starting with a K right ? Kaname Jr ?"

He chuckled and her heart skipped a beat at the innocent look he was arboring as he was studying the plushy in his arms "Kazuki. Isn't it a good name ?" he asked.

Startled by his question, she answered a little akwardly, still not over the pure and sincere smile he adressed her "It is indeed lovely, I like it a lot."

"I see, then it's settled." He put the plushy between them and lied down, extending a hand and grabbing her's with his own bigger one. He then came closer and pressed his lips against her soft ones, the kiss simple, curt yet full of affection. "Kazuki is still a baby right ? So in that case let's go to bed now."

She chuckled "What a subtle way to tell me you're tired."

"Hn, well I did all the work here today so I deserve a good night sleep now don't you think ?"

"I think so, good night you two then." she wrapped her fingers around the countours of the hand holding hers.

"Good night, something is telling me you won't snore much today." she wanted to hit him for his teasing but didn't found the strenght to. Instead she closed her eyes, an exasperated smile drawn on her face "Don't worry, I'm considerate enough to not snore next to our cute Kazuki, besides my voice is too broke thank's to you."

At that he just smiled and, turning the night light off, closed his eyes too.

That night, the two of them were able to sleep without any disturbance, fingers interwined and the little Kazuki laying between both of their bodies.

This is all for this Hagiri x Botan two shots ^^ It's a really unusual pairing but I enjoyed trying it out and writting about them !

Small comment ! I absolutely love Keiko, she's probably my favorite female character after Botan. I didn't intend to make her look bad in this chapter at all

I'm posting this quite late T.T I probably did some mistakes that I'll try to proof reading later
