I wish… that my friends would treat me like one of them.

It all began with Sasuke's birthday. Everything was always about Sasuke. Sasuke this, Sasuke that. I was getting sick of it.

"Hey, did you hear? Sasuke just finished another S-rank mission! He's finished more than any other ninja ever has!" Ino was gossiping once again.

"Hm."

"And – Guess what? – He said that he was going to have a party and invite everyone to it. All of the invitations should be out by an hour!"

"Cool." I said, not even meaning it. How could all anyone thinks about be Sasuke?

"See you later Forehead, I have to go on my date with Sasuke."

My jaw dropped. Date? Ino was dating Sasuke? He is so not getting away with this. (At this point in time, Sasuke – that bastard – claimed to be my supposed 'boyfriend') Even though I was his girlfriend (I was going to break up with him), I was getting tired of hearing about him every day, I wasn't even sure that he still loved me as much as he said he did. That was the last straw; I'm not going to go to his birthday party today!

When I finally got home, I picked up the mail, expecting to see the stupid invitation to Sasuke's birthday party. Boy was I surprised! Not only was it not in the stack, I also got a letter – from Sasuke – saying that he doesn't love me anymore. He said that Ino was much better in a bed. Who judges girlfriends on that?

Fine! I thought angrily, I wasn't going to the stupid party anyways.

When I got to the party – to eavesdrop – I was as surprised as can be by the conversations. Sasuke (hugging Ino, Ino? Of all people!), Ino, Choji, Shikamaru, Shino, Neji, Kiba, TenTen, Lee, Hinata, and Naruto (I was most disappointed in him) were sitting in a circle talking.

"Hey, why didn't Sakura-chan come?" whined Naruto.

"Because she wasn't invited dobe!"

"Why not?"

"She's too weak."

"Hey don't talk about Sakura-chan like- wait, you're right."

"Yeah, she's so slutty too and such a whore. I don't even know how she became a ninja." That was Ino.

"She thinks she's so powerful, but she is just pathetic, I mean, I've never seen her fight!" Kiba. My new sworn enemy.

"She's not that smart either." Now that was a surprise. I couldn't Shikamaru would join in on this. The others started agreeing and adding their own comments, all except Choji and Hinata. I'm proud of them.

"She's not that bad." That was Choji, I wanted to go out and hug him.

"Ye-yeah. Sak-kura-chan isn't really that b-bad. Sh-she's rea-really ni-nice." She still stuttered but she was firm.

"Yeah, and she doesn't think I'm fat. I know what you guys think. I'm not that dense." Ahh, good old Choji and his big bones.

I tuned them out in favor of sorting my thoughts. So that's how everyone thought of me. I'm actually glad I came to eavesdrop. But, the latest comment had me on the verge of tears.

Sooo, how do you think of my story so far? Please review. Not much to say except I've been feeling down lately, so reviews are appreciated.
