Nightwing crouched down. He was perched on a building across from the hospital.

He soon saw his younger brother sitting on the edge of the other building. As he slumped over just sitting there Nightwing noticed he looked...dejected? Sad? Depressed? He didn't know how quite to describe the look on Jason's face.

Oh Little wing, Nightwing thought as he looked at him, what happened?

LINE BREAK

It had been 1am when Jason finally left. Nightwing followed him(from a distance of course. He didn't want to get beat up.) to his apartment. He saw him and Roy have a brief conversation before Roy patted him on the shoulder and stalked way. Jason went down the fire escape and retired to his apartment.

Nightwing after standing on a roof across from where his brother was sleeping for a minute headed back towards the manor. One way or another he was going to find out what happened on June 21st so many years ago.

LINE BREAK

Dick groaned. He had been searching all night on the batcomputer and found nothing really bad had happened to Jason on that day. He was about to doze off when he heard someone call his name. He swiveled the chair around and saw Tim looking intently at him.

"Dick, why have you been up all night?" Tim asked concerned. Usually Dick valued sleep since his career was of crime fighting. So the fact that he had been up all night meant something was up, especially since last night was pretty quiet.

"Well it's just…Jason has been apparently sitting atop the main hospital we use since his resurrection every June 21st. And I can't tell what happened on that day that would make him so dejected." Dick replied sadly.

Tim furrowed his eyebrows. Had Jason been really doing that for so long with no one noticing?

Tim pushed Dick out of the seat and went to work.

"So did you check all the incidents that happened on that day or only to Jason?" Tim asked him, now staring at the screen. He saw out of the corner of his eye the older face palm and mutter,"No."

Of course he didn't, Tim thought. Sometimes his older brother could be really dumb. He started to cross check everything that happened on the certain date with things that happened in the years of Jason being alive and someone getting hurt. Surprisingly they're were only five incidents.

The first one was some old lady passing away. No.

The second was a kid breaking his leg. Probably not.

The third was another kid breaking his leg and his arm. Probably not that either.

The fourth was a thug that had been beaten up by batman. Definitely not

As Tim looked at the last one on the list he grew interested. He looked more into it.

Apparently a girl named Luna Namaran who was the same age of Jason at the time got into a car crash after driving a car without a license. She ended up going into a coma and had been like that ever since. And the hospital she was currently in was the same one Jason had been on last night. But what really interested him was that the crash happened exactly the week before Jason left to find his mother and...die.

He looked at her picture. She seemed to be on the scrawny side. She was a little tan and had brown, long wavy light brown hair that matched. But the thing that stood out were her eyes. One was deep dark brown. The other was as blue as the ocean. Tim knew this was a condition called Heterochromia.

He didn't know why but he felt like this had to do with Jason's behavior last night. But no matter how hard he tried he couldn't find a connection between them. After what felt like an hour he looked at the clock. It read 12 pm. He almost jumped. It had been 8 am when he came in. He had been researching for 4 hours.

As he sighed he turned around and saw Dick snoring quietly on a chair not far away. Tim shook his head at his brother. He dragged Dick up the stairs and to his room, all the while complaining in his head about how he could be so heavy yet be a police man and a crime fighter.

As he went back down he started to conduct a plan. One way or another he was going to figure out what was wrong with his brother.
