"You're pregnant?!" Stephanie freaked out.

"Shhh!" DJ harshly hushes her and closed the door. "I am."

"So, it's true..." Kimmy knew it all along.

"Yes," DJ sat on the edge of her bed next to her best friend. "I don't know what to do..." She was at a complete loss.

"Is it Steve's?" Stephanie wondered.

"Yes, it is. I don't know how I can tell him..."

"What about telling Dad?"

"One thing at a time, Steph..."

"Why don't you tell Steve first?" Kimmy suggested.

"What if he'll leave me?" DJ got scared.

"C'mon, Deej. He's Steve. He's not like Jake. He won't do anything stupid like that to you."

DJ has her own doubts.

"Yeah, you should tell Steve first," Stephanie agreed. "That way, the both of you can tell Dad together."

DJ thought it over.

"Okay," Then she begged to them. "Please, don't tell anyone."

Stephanie and Kimmy made that promise.

While eating dinner with the family, DJ was distracted by her own thoughts. It's about her being pregnant.

She couldn't believe that she was pregnant! She wasn't ready to be a mother and knew Steve definitely wasn't ready to be a father. She didn't want to ruin his life. He was in college. She's in high school. She didn't know how to raise a baby. How could she-

"DJ, are you okay?" Joey asked, snapping her out of her thoughts.

"You look distracted." Becky observed.

"I'm fine." DJ answered while absentmindedly moving her food around with her fork.

"Really? You're not even eating anything." Jesse noticed.

"Yeah, I am," She put chicken in her mouth and chewed it. "See? I'm eating it."

"Alright..." Her uncle accepted, but still was suspicious like the other adults.

"Can I go to Steve's tomorrow?" DJ asked being hopeful. Tomorrow was a Saturday.

"Did you do your homework?" Danny asked.

"Yes." She answered truthfully. There were some classes she had to study for tests next week, but she can do that any time.

"Okay. You can. Just don't stay out late. Remember your curfew is still at eleven." Danny strictly told her.

"I know, Dad." DJ said.

She was glad that she was able to go Steve's apartment to tell him the news. She even began to eat some more.

Stephanie was aware of the truth about her older sister. She knew better than to say anything. DJ gave her that warning look not to spill the secret when no one was watching. She thought her sister better tell their family soon or else she'll snap.

DJ was at her boyfriend's apartment. They were sitting on the couch together watching television. Steve's arm was wrapped around her shoulders. Her head was resting on his shoulders as they cuddled close. DJ was too relaxed and comfortable, but knew she shouldn't waste any time to tell him the unpleasant and unexpected news.

"Steve," She sighed. DJ grabbed the remote to turn the TV off. Steve looks at his girlfriend. "I have something to tell you."

"What is it?" Steve wondered.

"I...I am pregnant." DJ confessed.

He thought he misheard her incorrectly. "You're...you're what?"

DJ became nervous and anxious. "I'm pregnant."

He absorbed her words. His face paled and didn't know what to think. "You...you are?"

"I am. I know we used protection, but these things happen. I know this isn't what we wanted. If you leave, I understand-"

"Who said I'm going to leave?" He interrupted her gently.

"I was worried that you would." DJ's tears was sliding off her face.

"This is a lot for me take in, but I won't ever leave you, DJ. I mean, this is our baby," He places his hand on her flat stomach and she smiled a little at that. "We're going to be...parents. I'll be with you always to raise our son or our daughter."

DJ's tears flow out freely now. "Thank you, Steve. You have no idea how much that means to me."

Steve smiles and wipe the tears from her eyes. Then he kissed her.

"I can't believe I'm going to be a father..." He was comprehending the fact in awe.

"I still can't believe I'm going to be a mother..."

"You'll be a wonderful mother." He praised.

"I hope I will. My Mom died when I was very young. I would like to have her help with this right now."

"You have your Aunt Becky to go to for advise." Steve mentioned.

"I know. I just wasn't ready yet and wasn't sure if I really was...pregnant."

"Who else knows? Does she know?"

"Kimmy and Stephanie are the first to know," DJ answered. "Kathy might be suspicious because Kimmy and I ran into her. I saw her baby, Brian. He looks so cute."

"Ours will look cuter." Steve smirked.

DJ was biased, too. "Yeah, our baby will," There was an amused smile on her face. "It's funny to say. Our baby. It sounds so unreal."

"I know. You're going to go to the doctor, right? Just to have a professional's opinion?"

"Yes. After I tell my Dad and the rest of my family." DJ said not ready for that conversation and reactions.

"Do you want me to be there?"

"It will help."

"Okay. I will."

DJ smiled. "Thank you."

"It's almost time for dinner," Steve pointed out, changing the subject. "Do you want to go out? Are you craving for anything special?" He teased and she gave him a playful mean look.

"I could go for a really good hamburger." DJ answered.

"Your wish is my command." Steve played along.

At night, DJ and Steve was laying together in bed underneath the covers. They decided to take a nap and DJ woke up just in time to find out it was almost eleven o' clock. The time was ten thirty and they went to sleep at eight.

"I should go home," DJ said quickly getting out of bed and waking Steve up. "I want to be on Dad's good side so I want to go home soon."

"Okay," He chuckled. "It would be nice if you could stay overnight."

DJ wanted that, too, very much. Probably more than him.

"I know. Me, too."

"How are we going to raise the baby if we live in separate places?" Steve asked DJ hadn't thought about that.

"I don't know. We'll think about what to do when the time comes." She replied.

"Okay. Are you sure you're alright to drive by yourself?" He asked with concern.

"Yes, Steve, I'll be fine," She smiled. "Don't worry. Before I go, I just need to pee quick."

Steve was at the Tanners one day and was mentally preparing himself to tell the family that DJ was pregnant. He still couldn't comprehend the news about his girlfriend. Neither of the teenagers were ready to let everyone know they're having a kid. They're still kids themselves.

"Are you ready?" DJ asked him. "We can tell them today right now if you want."

"Better now than never, right?" DJ nodded in agreement. Deep down, Steve was extremely nervous and was fear for his own life, but her family had the right to know.

They went downstairs and there were only three of them in the living room. Joey and Stephanie was playing some kind of board game with Michelle. The family's dog, Comet, was laying on his bed.

"Hey," DJ acted as if everything was normal.

"Hey," The three lazily said back being too immersed into the game.

"We have something to tell you guys so you should stay here tight for a sec until everyone gets over here. Where's Dad, Stephanie?"

"He's in the kitchen," She answered, but was suspicious. "Are you actually going to-"

"Yes." DJ answered quickly already knowing what it was. So Joey wouldn't catch on.

"What do you two need to talk about?" Joey sternly looked at Steve and jokes. "You didn't propose to DJ, did you?"

"No, I didn't," Steve looked at his girlfriend's eyes lovingly. "But I would like to."

The need to marry DJ was stronger now that she's pregnant with his child. DJ tried not to blush at his words and how his look was.

DJ went to get Danny. Michelle helped, too, by going to get Becky and Jesse so they can hear.

Once everyone was there in the living room, all eyes were onto DJ and Steve. That's when DJ realized she couldn't break the news to them.

"I'm glad all of you guys can come."

"What's up, DJ?" Jesse asked. She felt as though he was scrutinizing her.

"Uh...why don't you tell them, Steve?" She pressured her boyfriend to put him under the spotlight.

"Gee, Thanks, DJ..." Steve mumbled sarcastically. He hated to be the one to do it.

"What is it?" Danny wondered.

Stephanie looked at the couple, mostly at her sister, while biting her bottom lip. A little afraid for their reactions.

"Well..." He heard his voice cracked and clears his throat. "Um...you see...uh..." He didn't know how to say it so he just dropped the bomb. "DJ is...pregnant."

"What?!" Danny and Joey exclaimed loudly.

"Pregnant?! How could she be pregnant?" Jesse demanded.

A bunch of questions was thrown towards the couple all at once by the three men. It was getting overwhelming for the new parents to be, but fortunately, Becky was the one who stopped them all. DJ was extremely grateful for that.

"Okay, that's enough!" Becky's voice rose silencing the three men. "I know this was...unexpected-"

"Unexpected?" Danny bitterly laughed, but Becky glared at him.

"Let me finish," She said seriously and Danny went quiet again. "This was unexpected, but we should let DJ and Steve figure out what they're going to do."

"I'm not going to abort it if that's what any of you are thinking." DJ shook her head, moving closer to her boyfriend who wrapped a protective arm around her shoulders.

"No, that's not it," Danny said. "Were you sleeping with Steve all this time and not using any protection?"

"We did use protection." DJ insisted.

"Condoms aren't always a hundred percent infallible." Becky informed.

"What are condoms?" Michelle asked innocently. Being completely clueless to the unknown object.

"Uhhh..." Stephanie looked at the adults for help.

"Girls, why don't you go in the kitchen and get snack or something?" Joey suggested to help the other adults who didn't know how to answer.

It was a serious conversation after all that they, especially Michelle, didn't need to listen.

When Stephanie and Michelle left, they resumed to their talk.

"I swear we used protection," Steve said earnestly. "I'm sorry for all of this."

"Don't you just apologize," Jesse told him and gave a look to his oldest niece who felt ashamed under his gaze.

"We all know it takes two to tango." Joey added.

"You two are still kids yourself. How are you going to raise another kid?" Danny asked the both of them then he stared at his daughter. "I thought you know better because of what happened to Kathy."

"I do, Dad, but these things just happen. Steve and I want to raise the baby together. I know we don't know anything about parenting, but we'll learn."

"You will stay, Steven?" Jesse asked seriously with his arms crossed.

"Yes," He answered. "I won't leave DJ or the baby."

"Good," Danny approved. "You definitely won't leave either of them."

"I never planned on it."

"Now what do we do?" DJ wondered to her family.

"You will have all of our support and I'm sure your sisters, too." Becky told her.

"DJ, you need to go to the doctor's first," Danny answered going straight to business. "We'll just have to figure out what's going to happen from there."

"Okay..." She replied softly.

"We better get Nicky and Alex," Becky said and looks at her husband. "They're going to be up from their nap soon."

Jesse followed his wife upstairs.

"We're going to have to tell them they're expecting a new little cousin." Her uncle said, but Becky lightly hit him on his arm on their way up.

Joey sensed the uncomfortable tension that was between Danny, DJ, and Steve. They may act everything was fine, but it's really not.

"Well...I think I'm going to...skidaddle." Joey left the living room and went into the kitchen to go into his own bedroom.

"I just want to let you know that I'm very disappointed in you for being so careless. It's nice that you're taking responsibility for raising your baby, but that is not an easy task. I hope you two know that." Danny said once Joey was out of earshot.

"I know, Dad," DJ understood. "You even had help from Uncle Jesse and Joey to raise Stephanie, Michelle, and I."

"That was just for three girls and I needed help from two other guys because I know I couldn't do it by myself. Imagine all the struggles that you two are going to face with just one child."

Steve and DJ didn't know how to respond to that. They understand how difficult it is to raise a baby. They just don't know what they're doing and they're still so young.

"Just be grateful that you two have each other. All of us would help you out, too, but it is mainly up to you two who needs to do the job. Got it?"

"Got it." The young parents answered in unison.

"Good." Danny approved.

It was quiet between just the three of them.

"Well...ummm...why don't we go upstairs to my room?" DJ offered to her boyfriend.

"Uhhh...okay." Steve said unsurely.

"I want the door open, DJ." Danny told her sternly.

She knew better than to argue back because of the situation she gotten herself into.

"Fine." She said and the couple went upstairs.
