A Darkus bakugan was send to Tokyo rather back to Vestroia with the other bakugan where he meets Mimete and team up to catch pure hearts. Can the Sailor Scouts defeat this new foe or will the Battle Brawlers have to step up to help them out?

2. Brawlers meet the Scouts

Summary: A Darkus bakugan was send to Tokyo rather back to Vestroia with the other bakugan where he meets Mimete and team up to catch pure hearts. Can the Sailor Scouts defeat this new foe or will the Battle Brawlers have to step up to help them out?

I don't own Bakugan or Sailor Moon.

-Japan, Tokyo-

"Rats," cursed Eugeal as she entered her car. "Soyer, be sure to drum so manners into them!"

Eugeal drove away as Soyar, the daimon heart snatcher was making Sailor Moon and Sailor Mars dance away from the fireworks that were coming down.

Soyar laughed, "Follow the beat to your own defeat."

Hidden from sight, Sailor Neptune and Sailor Uranus were watching the other two scouts fight the heart snatcher. Sailor Neptune smiled a bit, "Do you think we should help them this time?"

Sailor Uranus slightly smiled, "Let's give them a chance to prove they're real Sailor Scouts."

"Should be interesting," murmured Sailor Neptune. The two watched a couple of seconds before walking away, leaving Sailor Moon and Sailor Mars on their own again.

"Follow the beat to your own defeat," said Soyar as Sailor Moon and Sailor Mars were still dodging the fallen fireworks. That's when Soyar tossed her drum to the sky which become two and drop down to both scouts. "Double trouble coming down!"

Both Scouts couldn't move much now.

"Are you ready to make beautiful music together?" asked Soyar before laughing at them. Sailor Moon and Sailor Mars didn't know what to think.

"Are you mental?"

"We're not even tone!"

"That's okay. I'm not looking for harmony," said Soyar as she took out two maces. She smirks, "Just harm."

Both scouts screamed before Sailor Moon was pointing over at Sailor Mars. She shouted, "Take her! Take her! Take her!"

"You're such a traitor!" snapped Sailor Mars.

"I'm not a traitor! I'm just being spineless!" argued Sailor Moon.

"Whatever, we were supposed to stick -"

"Together!"

"Huh?"

Soyar turned around, "Who said that?"

Sailor Moon and Sailor Mars turned their heads to see a small figure standing close by them. The small figure had their hands onto their hips, "Let's just say I am not a fan. I am here to help my fellow scouts who've totally had a meltdown in stick together department."

"That voice…I know that voice," murmured Sailor Moon in disbelief.

When a small light shine over the small figure, there stood was Rini who was wearing a pink Sailor scout uniform. She smiled and made her small pose, "I am Mini Moon, champion of justice and togetherness! I am the future but I fight evil here and now! And that will be you!"

Sailor Moon and Sailor Mars had disbelief look on their faces.

"Mini Moon?!" said Sailor Moon.

Soyar was not impressed, "I am not going easy on you just cause you're the rant."

Mini Moon took out a pink heart rod but before she could call out an attack, a portal opened and six kids dropped down, right on top of Soyar.

"Ah man that really hurt, is everyone alright?"

"I'm fine…well at least I think so, what about you guys?"

"I'm good, Julie?"

"Fine by – aw man my hair! It's like totally ruined!"

"Would you quit with your hair Julie!"

"Knock it off you two!"

"Well that's good and all but – could you at least get off of me!"

"Oops sorry Dan," said the small blond who got off first.

Sailor Moon and Sailor Mars just stared before quickly taking off the drums from each other and ran towards the unknown teens.

"Hey, are guys alright?" asked Sailor Mars.

"Oh yea we are fine, no worries," replied the small blond.

"Hey, where did you guys come from?" asked Mini Moon who was right by the brunette.

"Oh um it's kind of a – wait a minute!" said the brunette before titling his head. He snapped his fingers, "You guys must be the Sailor Scouts that we need it to find."

"Need to find?" said Sailor Mars. She slightly glared at them, "What do you mean by that?"

"Hold on Mars, let's deal with the heart snatcher," said Sailor Moon before noticing that Soyar was slightly daze from the unknown crash. She made a face, "Well…this is going to be easier than the others were."

Sailor Mars nodded with a blank face.

Mini pouted, "But I really wanted to tryout my attack. I have been practicing really hard before coming back here."

"…Oh alright," said Sailor Moon before narrowing her eyes at her, "But after this, you need to explain to us why you came back."

"Deal, now watch this!" said Mini Moon, happily. She aimed her rod to the out cold heart snatcher, "Pink Sugar Heart Attack!"

Nothing happened.

The bluenette scratched her cheek, "Um is something supposed to happen?"

Mini Moon made a face before looking at her rod with confusion. She frowns, "No! It worked when I was practicing, honest! What's wrong with this thing?"

"Try it again," said the brunette.

"Come on Dan, if it didn't work the first time then how it will work the second time?!" snapped the bluenette.

"Runo, don't be so negative!" argued Dan. He sighs, "If you were playing attention, she is just learning on how to use that weapon of hers – so lay off!"

"…whatever," said Runo as she crossed her arms.

Dan shook his head before smiling at Mini Moon. "Come on, gave it another go."

"Okay," said Mini Moon. She aimed the rod to the heart snatcher again, "Pink Sugar Heart Attack!"

Nothing happen for a few seconds until small hearts come out and hit Soyar right to her face. "Ouch, stop that! It really hurts!"

"Come on Sailor Moon while she is distracted!" said Sailor Mars.

Sailor Moon nodded and took out her spiral heart moon rod. "Moon Spiral Heart Attack!"

There was a bright pink light going towards Soyar which destroyed her at the end. The monster changed back into a normal drum and the daimon capsule came out and was destroyed as well.

"Well that's over with but," said Sailor Mars before glancing over at the mysterious teens and Rini. "What do we do with them?"

"I say for now let's go back to the festival," said Sailor Moon, happily. She laughed, sheepishly, "I still haven't eaten anything."

"Festival? Count me in!" said Dan.

"Oh don't forget about me!" said Julie, happily.

"Fine…I believe I have a few extra kimonos," said Raye as she transformed back. "Serena, take the boys with Lita while I take the girls to fit some kimonos."

"Right come on you two," said Serena as she transformed back as well. She pushed Dan, Marucho and Shun towards the east side of the Shrine. Raye took the girls and Rini to the west side of the Shrine and fitted them before going back to the festival.

It didn't take long for everyone to gather around the center of the Shrine where there was a big drum. Serena was making a face as she was giving Rini a piggy-back ride.

"Higher! I can't see anything! Your meatballs are on the way!" whined Rini.

"Can it Mini Brat, the show has not even started yet," said Serena. That's when two people came over to them. It was Michelle and Amara.

"Who is the cutie pie, Serena?" asked Michelle.

"Cutie pie? What cutie pie?" wondered Serena.

"Um the one on your back that looks just like you," responded Amara.

Both Serena and Rini shook their heads. "No way, I look like her!"

"Um…she is my cousin from out of town," said Serena before hearing Raye's voice. She looked up to see Raye standing near the big drum with her friend Maya.

"Ladies and gentlemen, it's time for the highlights performance we've been all waiting for tonight!" said Raye before turning around to her friend. "Please welcome Miss Maya!"

Everyone started clapping and was enjoying the show when Serena remembered. "So Rini what's the reason you came here to bug me this time?"

"Mother told me to come back to Earth to become a Sailor Scout like you," replied Rini with a small blush on her face.

"What?! You mean we're stuck with you again?!"

"Yup!" said Rini, happily while Serena whined. She then titled her head, "But I wonder who those teens were?"

"That's a good question," said Serena. She turns her head to see Lita stand with the six mysterious preteens before going back watching the show.

-Next day, Raye's Shrine-

"Alright now you know our names, tell us yours," said Amy.

"Sure, I'm Dan and this is my bakugan partner Drago, a Pyrus bakugan."

"Shun pleasure and this is my bakugan partner Skyress, she is a Ventus bakugan."

"Marucho at your service and this is my bakugan partner Preyas, an Aquos bakugan."

"Julie here and this little cutie is my bakugan partner Gorem and is a Subterra bakugan."

"Hello I'm Alice and this is my partner Hydra, a Darkus bakugan."

"Runo and this is my bakugan partner Tigrerra, a Haos bakugan."

"So…these toys like creatures are living beings somehow?" wondered Lita.

"They are not toys, just creatures from a different dimension," replied Marucho. "Just like us as we come from a different Earth dimension."

"So what did you mean yesterday that you need it to find us?" asked Raye.

"Well Apollonir, a Pyrus Soldier bakugan told us something bad is going to happen that will involve not just our dimension but yours and others as well," explained Dan. "We were sent here for a mission and to help out the Sailor Scouts."

"Mission? What kind of mission?" asked Mina.

"The Legendary Soldiers found out that there was a stray bakugan that was sent here instead of going back home to New Vestroia with the other bakugan," replied Marucho.

Shun crossed his arms, "Oberus, a Ventus Soldier bakugan has a feeling that the stray bakugan might joined whoever makes those heart snatchers."

"Frosch, an Aquos Soldier bakugan told us that we need it to find the Sailor Scouts, the Defenders of Japan," said Marucho. He adjusted his glasses, "He and the other Soldiers fear that the stray Darkus bakugan will be tough to beat even with your powers."

Amy and Raye nodded their heads while Serena and Mina had confused look on their faces.

"Okay, so far I believe we understand," said Lita before seeing Serena and Mina's faces. She sighs, "Well…most of us."

"Alright so you guys are in this big mission and all but any idea where you guys are going to stay for the time being?" asked Raye.

The Brawlers looked at each other before shaking their heads. The Scouts dropped their heads onto the small table with a bit of sweat-drop going down from their heads.

"Though," said Dan. "This lady that sort of looks like Serena, older appeared next to Apollonir and told us that her daughter could help us out on finding a place to stay."

The Scouts blinked their eyes before looking over at Serena and Rini.

"Wha – do you mean me?" said Rini before looking down at her Luna-P ball. She frowns a bit, "Mother wants me to hypnotize random people?"

Shun shook his head, "No. She said that each of us will stay with each scout and pretend to be their cousin that is coming over for a visit."

"Sounds like how Rini gets to stay with Serena," said Amy. She looked over at Raye, "But how do we determine who gets to stay with who?"

Raye thought for a moment before glazing over to see Dan and Serena munching away the snacks. Runo also saw what Dan was doing and her eyes were twitching in annoyance.

"Dan! Pay attention!" snapped Runo. She hit the brunette onto his head, "Can't you forget about food for one minute!"

"Ouch! Runo! Why did you have to hit me so hard!" shouted Dan as he was rubbing his head.

"Because you're an idiot and being rude – again!" argued Runo.

The Scouts watched as not knowing what to do. Lita leans over to Marucho, "Um…do they always fight like that?"

Marucho sighed, "Always but what's worse is when Julie steps in and then Runo and Julie start fighting over Dan."

Mina made a face, "Is it me or it's like seeing Raye and Serena fight?"

"…I think you're right Mina," said Lita.

"Hey, I don't yell at Serena because she is an idiot," said Raye while Serena had her eyes brighten in happiness. "I yell at her because someone needs to get to her thick skull."

Serena dropped her head, "That's cruel Raye. Could you at least be somewhat nice to me?"

"I am being nice!" said Raye before pulling onto Serena's cheeks.

Shun, Marucho and Alice watched as Serena fought back and pulled onto Raye's cheeks. They stared for a bit before looking over at the older teens. "Now we know what you mean."

Drago sighed before he and Tigrerra floated over to their partner's faces.

"That is quite enough Dan," said Drago.

"That same goes with you Runo, you are a lady and ladies don't yell like barbarians," scolded Tigrerra.

Dan and Runo flinched a bit upon hearing their partners scolding them again before sheepishly apologizing. They looked at each other before sticking out their tongues at each other.

"Just like Raye and Serena's fights," stated Amy.

Lita and Mina nodded their heads while trying to stop Raye and Serena, once again.

"Right," said Luna as she leaps onto the table. "There is no doubt about it. Dan stays with Serena and Rini while Runo stays with Raye."

Julie screamed, "Holy cow! That cat can talk?!" That's when she spotted moon like mark on Luna's forehead, "Oh what pretty crescent moon you have there, kitty!"

"Hey, that was my reaction when I first meet Artemis," said Mina, happily.

"Well, looks like Julie is staying with Mina," said Shun. Everyone nodded minus Artemis who had a grim expression.

"Now what about Marucho, Shun and Alice?" wondered Amy.

"I say Marucho should stay with Amy," said Dan before grinning. "I mean Amy sounds pretty smart like Marucho."

Marucho looked over at Amy, "If it's alright with you, Amy?"

"I don't mind at all Marucho," replied Amy before frowning. "But what about Shun and Alice? Lita can't have both of them."

Lita sighed, "She's right. I only have one guest room."

Serena thought for a moment, "Lita, take Alice…and I will ask Darien for help."

"Who?" asked Shun.

"Darien is Serena's boyfriend," replied Amy. "Alright Serena, ask him if Shun can stay at his place and since he lives alone, Rini doesn't have to hypnotize him."

"Wouldn't he be a bit suspicious about this?" asked Marucho.

"No, he helps out with our battles as well," said Serena before looking down at Rini. "By the way, what's your reason for you to be back here?"

Rini took out something, "My Mother wrote a letter explaining why I am here."

"Well give it to me then," said Serena as she handed out her hand. Though instead handing the letter to Serena, Rini walked over to Mina instead.

"Mina, why don't you read it out loud?" said Rini while Serena glared at Rini.

"Um yea okay, let's see," said Mina as she opened the letter. "We appreciated your offer of completing the training of our dear Rini. We are very grateful and hope you will look after our daughter, thank you…that's it."

"Really? There's no more," said Raye a bit irritated.

"Well, Neo-Queen Serenity is just like Serena herself," stated Luna.

Serena leaned over at Luna, "What do you mean by that?!"

"You are totally right Luna," said Mina as she showed the letter to everyone. "Just look, I read this from my imagination." Everyone was shocked as they looked over that the letter.

"How can you read it? It's nothing but symbols!"

"There are a few letters but there half erased."

"You should try to look in a dictionary."

"Maybe she was too lazy to look at the words!"

"I really know that she was really Serena."

"Wow even Dan has better writing then that!"

"Is that really English?"

"I have to agree on Amy as there are a few words that look recognizable."

Serena dropped her head onto the table. Dan leaned over to her, "So I'm guessing that you will be this queen in the future or something?"

Serena nodded, "Let's talk about this later. For now, we need to have my parents, Amy's mom, Raye's grandfather and Mina's parents alternate their minds to think that their 'nieces' and 'nephews' are coming over for a visit."

Dan nodded before both saw everyone was not looking at the letter anymore.

"I wonder what kind of training her mother had in mind?" wondered Mina.

"If she wanted her to be trained the ways of a princess, it would be pointless learning it from Serena," said Lita with a small laugh.

"What if she learns the bad habits that Serena seems to know," stated Raye.

"That's right the future Mars told me to look out and warn me that Serena is careless and a bit selfish and clumsy," said Rini.

Dan quickly grabbed Luna and Artemis out of the way just when Serena tackled Raye.

"Raye, how could you?!"

"Wait I didn't say anything! It was the future Mars who did it! Cut it out Serena!"

"I am seeing…a pattern here," murmured Marucho while the others nodded.

"But I don't get it," said Runo as she looks over to Rini. "If you are from the future then how can you be here now?"

"Oh I have this key that allows me to travel through time and space, see," said Rini as she took out the golden key to them. "By the way, I'm different than Serena as I am not clumsy at all."

"Well I guess we should get started," said Amy. "Raye, where is your grandfather so that Rini can work her magic?"

"Oh right let me – Serena, would you let go of me!"

Serena pouted, "Fine, come on Dan and Shun let us go to Darien's place then."

"Good idea Serena. Rini, once you are done here then come with me to my place," said Amy.

Rini nodded, "Okay, let the way Raye!"

Raye nodded before guiding Rini and Runo out of the room to where her grandfather would be.

That's when Mina noticed something more in the letter. She took it out, "P.S Dear Serena, in the 21st century it's been my experience that it is always best to study hard when one is young and I hope you've follow this principle…there's no more."

Everyone made a face before looking over the direction where Serena, Dan and Shun left.

"As if she likes studying."

Alice and the others just laughed nervously.

-Break Line-

Next chapter: Rini is off with her training but trouble appears when she tries to impress a young Tea Master to be her friend. Rini was ready to defend her new friend but how will Dan and Shun able to help?
