I do NOT own the Harry Potter series

No One's POV

"Hermione," a voice whispered.

"Mmmm..."

"Time to get up!"

It was early December, a Saturday morning and every third year and above students of the legendary Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry were getting ready for a day of relaxation in Hogsmeade, that is, except one certain Gryffindor Head Girl.

"Go 'way, Harry," Hermione groaned, turning to her side, her back towards Harry.

"Come on, Hermione! You're not going to let me eat by myself, are you?" he asked while poking her shoulder softly.

"Won," her voice muffled by the pillow she put over her head.

"But I want you out there!" Harry whined. "Just imagine what the Daily Prophet headline would be: 'The Chosen One, who graciously defeated the most feared He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named, spotted eating alone at the Great Hall, Hogwarts after being stood up by his girlfriend'. That would just be horrendous. It would spread around the castle like an unskilled wizard setting fiend fire in the forbidden forest. Everyone would talk-"

Harry was cut off his rambling when Hermione threw the pillow covering her head a while ago square into his face.

"What got you so tired by the way? You passed out the moment your head hit my bed. You want them to think we slept-"

"Merlin's beard, Harry! Just shut up!"

Of course, that just got a hearty laugh from him. He placed the pillow under her head like a true gentleman. A stray lock of her hair was interrupting his view of her face so he tucked it behind her ear. She was beautiful, and she wasn't even trying. He can't help it and planted a chaste kiss on her cheek. "Wakey wakey, pretty Hermione."

Her cheeks instantly heated giving them a tinge of pink. "I-I'm knackered, Harry. Being Head Girl has its privileges but it sure is exhausting beyond my knowledge. Milling outside dormitories even after hours, wandering off at out of bounds places, using magic in the hallways, sucking each other's faces here and there, students just keep on breaking rules!"

"Haven't we done worse than that?"

Taken off guard, Hermione just stared at him with her mouth slightly ajar before being able to construct a retort. "We aren't sucking each other's faces!"

"I wasn't talking about sucking faces and eating tonsils, Hermione," said Harry, his voice with a hint of amusement he didn't care hide. "What made you think that I was talking about that?"

"I... Uhmm..."

"Speechless Hermione, this is a first!"

"Oh, shut up," groaned Hermione. "Just let me sleep peacefully, will you? Even just for, like, an hour or something. Please, Harry?"

"Only if I could cuddle-"

Hermione grabbed his shirt, tucked herself beside him, and laid her head on his chest. She immediately fell back into Dreamland while Harry was stuck at being a breathing pillow, admiring the sleeping girl in his arms before falling into deep slumber himself.

"Death Eaters!"

The sound of someone shouting the name of Voldemort's followers gave Harry and Hermione the sudden boost of energy to jump out of bed and pull their wands out of nowhere. That is, except the fact that Harry fell rather ungracefully out of bed and landed with a loud thud. "Ugh..."

"You alright, mate?"

"Ron! Whatever were you thinking just barging in and yelling like a madman?" snapped Hermione.

"Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed," mumbled Ron with an ever so hushed voice. Hermione heard him anyway.

"Seriously? Ron, you just barged in here, yelling death eaters, waking me up from a much needed sleep!"

"Blimey, Hermione! Is it my fault that you lack a 'much needed sleep'?"

"You know all too well it is your fault!" Hermione's voice was a pitch higher now. "Whoever stays up late dissecting his girlfriend's throat with his tongue? And it wasn't just late! Up until four this morning!"

"You were on patrol up until four this morning?" Harry asked from the sideline of the battlefield. Hermione ignored his question.

"You're just jealous."

"That's pure rubbish, Ron. Why in the name of Azkaban would I be jealous?"

"You don't get to snog as often as Luna and I do! Oh, you don't have to. I just caught you sleeping with Harry."

"I'm sleeping. So?"

"I'll tell you. You're sleeping in his room, in his bed, with him! That's like... like... so unladylike!"

"When did sleeping become such a crime?" Hermione asked exasperatedly. "It's not like we did something... something married couples do!"

"Yeah, we just fell asleep, mate," chimed Harry.

"Still!"

"Ron, whatever took you so long to get them?" Ginny asked as she entered the room.

"Your brother's being unreasonable!" Hermione whined as she climbed back in Harry's sheets.

Ginny raised an eyebrow at that. "I get that but, fancy explaining more?"

"Ron barged in yelling death eaters while we were asleep. Not just that, he accused her of being jealous because we don't snog as often as him and Luna do. And he's making a big fuss about seeing me and Hermione asleep, in my room, in my bed, together." Harry took a deep breath after listing down everything that pissed his girlfriend off.

"That's completely rude!"

"You asked me to get them!"

"Could've done it nicely!"

"Apparently, Harry did that and ended up sleeping too!"

"Still!"

"I'm trying to sleep, Weasleys!" screamed Hermione from under the comforter.

"Hermione, come on now, an hour had passed," Harry poked her face.

"Ten more minutes..."

"No."

"Five."

"Get up."

"No."

"You don't want the house elves effort in making you breakfast be for nothing, do you?" Ginny chimed in. She knew just what the right buttons to press. And she did it effortlessly.

That made Hermione immediately shoot out of bed and straight to the loo, ignoring the snickers of everyone behind her.

"Didn't think that. You're brilliant," she heard Harry say between his suppressed laughter before she slammed his bathroom door to let them know she heard them.

She mentally noted to get back at them later today during their Hogsmeade visit. They just signed up for something, something even she didn't have an idea of. Oh, this better be good.
