Catching Fire
By: Tessa Truzzolino
Touring the districts one by one
Seeing the faces of tribute's loved ones
A rebellion breaks and riots start
Panic and fear tear my heart
President Snow, an evil man
Hates my guts and has a plan
I tremble and shake as I realize my fate
I'm walking to the Quell Game's gates
Again the arena, I'm stuck in again
It's strange and different, it makes my mind bend
It's a clock that holds a new catastrophe every hour
I realize that is beyond my power
Raining blood, deadly fog, and screaming Mockingjays
This place is a mad house, which I'm stuck in for five days
Then suddenly boom, the whole place shatters
The force field is blown into bits and scattered
Even though I have no idea where to go
Peeta is trapped in the hands of President Snow
I cry and mourn and pretend I'm fine
Because District 12 is no longer mine
Now that the Capitol is on my heels
I tell myself "Katniss, it's no big deal"
I lie to myself and think of my friends
I want, need and crave revenge
