Authors notes: In this chapter i took a deleted scene where the Doctor gives Meta Doctor a piece of the TARDIS for him to grow, so that him and Rose can travel around all of time and space as it should be. They took it out cause they thought it took away from the emotion of the scene, I think they should have kept it in, like they should have kept in the intense kiss they share on the beach. There is so much more to it then that, but you will have to look it up if you don't know what im talking about.

Jack nearly fell over when it all finally hit him. Elizabeth took hold of him, as to help him not fall. The face that he was looking at was just like Rose. Features were a bit different because of the other genetics thrown in there, but she looked just like her. Jack was kicking himself for not noticing before. Had it really been so long since he saw her that he couldn't recognize her features on someone else? "You look just like your mother," he breathlessly said in amazement.

Elizabeth gave him a soft smile. "I know, I get told that a lot."

Jack finally regained his balance. "Who tells you that?"

"Dad."

Dad. That person could only be one man, "You're dad is-"

"Yes, my dad is the Doctor."

So many emotions were running through Jack. He reached out a hand to touch her face when Rex came into the room, "So is that how you get people to talk, you seduce them?" Rex had a displeased look on his face.

Jack moved away from Elizabeth and as he did he could see a hurt look come across her face, "That's not what was happening here. I just lost my balance that's all."

Rex huffed, "Yeah sure you did." He crossed the kitchen to get a mug. As he did, he looked at Elizabeth sideways, "So what did you get out of her other then you want to get her alone?"

Jack looked at her and then back at Rex before he reached for his mug of coffee. "Her name is Elizabeth Tyler. She's not a threat to us." He took a sip of his now warm coffee.

"Oh good, well at least she has a name," Rex had just finished mixing the creamer in his coffee, "So Elizabeth, why and how do you have alien technology? You don't exactly look like an alien, but then again, it's hard to tell. Are you an alien?"

Jack hadn't thought about that, but he knew what the answer was going to be. "Yes," Elizabeth said calmly. Jack almost spit out the coffee he was drinking. Both of them gave Jack a surprised look.

"I'm sorry but how? I know your parents and neither of them are aliens," Jack put his mug down again.

"Oh so you know her parents and that wasn't going to come up anytime soon?," Rex looked mad.

"I was going to get to that when it came up, but right now I need an explanation."

Elizabeth looked at both of them, "It's going to be a long story."

Rex walked over and sat on one of the stools next to her, "I have all day." She looked back at Jack and he had his arms crossed with a serious look on his face.

"Alright. It all started with a journey's end and a journey's beginning..."

Rose stood there as the TARDIS dematerialized out of view. That was it, he was gone again and this time she really was never going to see him again, at least not the real him. She could feel a firm grip around her left hand. She looked down at the hand in hers and her eyes trailed up the blue pinstriped sleeve to the eyes that were locked on her. She was looking at her Doctor, well not HER Doctor, but it was him. He looked at her with sadness and love at the same time.

"Oh Pete's here," Jackie's broke through the sound of the waves crashing on the beach and the seagulls soaring above them, "Come on you two, unless you want to be left here?"

Rose let go of his hand all too quickly and it saddened him even more. The ride back to the Tyler estate was all too painfully silent. Jackie had told Pete about what had happened on the other side and she tried to get Rose to talk, but other then that, silence. The whole time Rose just looked out the window. The Doctor wanted to say something, anything to her, but he didn't know how to form the words. What could he say? She just needed some time.

They finally got to the house, Rose got out of the car first and rushed into the house without looking back. Pete and Jackie turned to look at the Doctor who was in the middle of unbuckling his seat belt when the event happened. "I'll go talk to her," Jackie said as she got out of the car.

The Doctor and Pete got out of the car at the same time and Pete gave him a sad look, "Don't worry mate. Just give her some time and I'm sure she'll come around." Pete patted him on the back and headed toward the house.

The Doctor stood there. He had almost forgot the bit of TARDIS that the real Doctor gave him in the car. He pulled it out and thumbed it in his hand. He fought back the sadness that was creeping into his throat. He wasn't going to let Rose see how broken he was about her actions. The confusion she was making him feel, but then he thought that she was no doubt confused herself. The man she loved for so long, she had finally found again and then had to watch him leave her forever with just a shadow of who he was. He had to give her time to figure out what she was going to do. In the mean time, he decided that he was going to start planting the TARDIS.

Rose had ran up to her room and closed the door. She threw herself on the bed and buried her face in the pillow. What was she doing? She felt terrible, sick, sad, and confused. She knew that her actions must have been confusing to the Doctor, they were confusing to her as well. Rose rolled onto her side and stared blankly at the door. There was a knock on the door and Jackie's voice came through, "Rose? Can I come in?"

"Yeah," Rose said with a grumbled moan.

Jackie came in and sat next to Rose on the bed, she stroked her hair, "Are you alright sweetheart? You rushed out of there like a bat out of Hell. If I didn't know any better, I'd say that you were trying to get as far away from him as possible."

Rose sat up to meet her moms eyes. "It wasn't like that, it was just...," she let her voice trail off. What was she going to say?

Jackie took Rose's hand in her's, "If you don't want to be with him, you need to tell him. It's not right to string him on like you did Mickey." Her words hurt Rose more than anything. She knew that her mom was right. She couldn't do that again, especially not to him, not to the Doctor.

Rose moved to the side of her mom and then got out of bed. "I'm gonna go look for him," she left the room without saying another word.

Jackie sighed sadly, "Oh Rose."

Rose made her way into the kitchen where Pete was making dinner. It was his turn tonight. The whole room smelled of sauteed onions and garlic. Whenever Pete made dinner, it was always spaghetti. "Hi dad. Have you seen the Doctor?," Rose said walking up to him.

Pete looked over his shoulder at her and motioned with his head to the outside, "The last time I saw him, he was out there." For a second Rose thought the worst. As she made her way to the outside she thought that maybe he felt that she didn't want him because he wasn't the real Doctor, so to give her a chance to be happy, he left.

"Oh please, don't leave me again," Rose said through forced back tears. She was on the verge of breaking down completely when she caught sight of him in the backyard. She let out a big sigh of relief. He was crouched on the ground staring at a fresh mound of dirt "What you doin'?," Rose asked walking up to where he was.

He hadn't heard her come up to him, so he almost fell over in surprise. He got to his feet to look at her better. She looked torn and he understood that, he felt it too. He was finally with his Rose, but she wasn't with her Doctor. "I was just planting that bit of TARDIS I gave myself," it sounded funny coming out of his mouth and Rose thought so too because she gave that tongue touched smile she always gave. He loved that smile, he loved everything about her and it was so hard for him to not take her in his arms and never let her go.

The smile on her face slowly faded, "I need to talk to you." The look on the Doctor's face became hard. He was prepared for whatever she was going to say. "You're not the Doctor," she said flat out. The Doctor's heart dropped. He felt worse than he did when he lost his people and planet. She saw what her words did to him. He couldn't hide it from her. "When you first changed into this man, I didn't know how to feel, but then I learned to love you again," she paused as his face showed his whole world come crashing down.

He looked away from her, unable to breath, unable to think. It had to be the human in him because he had never over reacted like this before. It hurt, it was hard, and he wanted it all to stop. "I...I'm sorry," he was trying so hard not to cry in front of her.

Rose's heart was breaking, "What would you do if I didn't want you to stay?"

The Doctor still had his back to her, "I was going to wait six months for the TARDIS to grow and then...then I was...", he made an away motion with his hand, "going to leave." His voice was shaking. He couldn't fight it anymore. Hot tears streamed down his face. Rose tried to move around to see him, but he hid from her. She placed her hand into his. She was going to speak when he cut her off, "I never wanted...it to...come to this." His knees gave way underneath him. In this moment he never felt so human. He covered his face with his hands, "I'm sorry, I'm so so sorry."

Rose crumpled to the ground next to him. She wrapped her arms around him as he sobbed. Hearing his cries hurt her so much. She had shattered this mans heart without meaning to. He hadn't even heard what she meant when she asked that question. She took a deep breath to steady her voice before she spoke, "Doctor I never wanted to hurt you. You don't understand. You are not the Doctor and you will never be THE Doctor, but you are and always will be MY Doctor." She cupped his face and forced him to look at her. The tears were still hot on his cheeks. She wiped them away and looked deep into his eyes.

The Doctor looked into the deep brown pools staring deep into his heart and soul. He moved his hand slowly up to cup her face. That's when it hit him, what she actually said, "Rose? Rose you want me to stay?" A smile spread across her face and the Doctor reflected it back at her, "Oh Rose Tyler!" He embraced her in a tight hug. He was never going to let her go. He was going to do everything in his power, in the rest of his human life to make Rose Tyler happy. He wanted her to live a fantastic life.

Rose broke the hug to look him in the eyes again, "Doctor, I'm sorry for the way I acted before. I just needed to wrap my head around everything that just happened. I still love you and I don't want to ever think that I would stop." He gave her a huge grin, almost a wide as the grins he would give her before he changed. She hugged him one last time before pulling him to his feet with her, "Come on. Lets go have some tea, it'll make us feel better."

"The British cure all as your mother says," they both laughed as the headed back into the house.

Jack's eyes were red from listening to Elizabeth's story. By this time they had left the kitchen and were in the living room on the sofa. Rex's usual hard expression had been softened by sadness, he never shed a tear though, unlike Jack who had used a total of five tissues during her story. Elizabeth nor Rex had any idea that Jack was so sappy, but Elizabeth rationalized that because it was her parents and Jack was so close to them that he reacted that way.

Jack took one more sniff before he spoke, "So what happened next?" Rex leaned forward waiting for what she was going to say. Jack lifted a curious eyebrow to him, "I didn't know you were so interested Rex."

Rex shot him a look, "Well she already started, might as well listen to this thing all the way though," he said trying to be hard and not that amused by it all. Jack just chuckled and looked back at Elizabeth.

"What if an alien shows up?," she asked.

"Don't worry about that. Not much has happened around here as of late anyway," Jack said waving his hand for her to continue.

"Alright. Well after they established that they were going to stay together, they had to figure out what exactly they were going to do..."
