Chapter 2
4 years later
Clary and Jon both 17
Clary had just gotten back to new york . she was at the airport waiting to get picked up by her mom and her brother
The last 4 years of Clary's life is a time she will never forget
Clary was sitting on a bench outside the airport listening to music, she felt someone sit beside her she turned her head and saw a boy he was about 17 he had golden blonde hair, golden skin, and golden eyes
Clary didn't realize she was staring until the boy next to her snapped his fingers in front of her face
"Hello" the boy said
"Um...hi" Clary said with a slight blush on her cheeks
"I'm Jace" the boy, Jace said
"Clary"
"That's a cool name" Jace said
"I know right" Clary said with sarcasm and an eye roll
They sat in silence for a while until they heard a honk
"That's me" Jace said "I hope to see you around sometime"
With that Jace left.
Minutes later Clary had gotten picked up by her mom and Jon
When Clary got home she was so excited to be there. It had been such a long time since she was in the comfort of her blown home
Clary had been home for a few hours talking with her mom and brother about what California was like
"Clary" Jon said
"Yea" Clary said
"I'm sorry I know you just got home and all and you want to spend tons of time with your magnificent brother but my friend just got into town today and he's coming to spend the night" Jon said with an apologetic smile
"Don't sweat it jon, I can always spend time with you some other time" Clary said
"That's nice to know" Jon hugged Clary and ruffled her hair
"Jon!" Clary screeched and Jon left laughing
A few hours later there was a knock on the door
"Clary can you get it, its probably my friend" Jon yelled from his room
Clary went to the door and opened it and who she saw blew her mind..
It was jace
Jace POV
What is she doing here. Jace thought
"I live here" Clary said
Did I say that out loud? Jace thought
"Yes you did" Clary said
Clary POV
"Why are you at my house" Clary asked
"Um...my friend lives here?" Jace said stupidly
"JONATHAN!" Clary yelled
"What" Jon said as he descended the stairs
He took in the scene that was Clary and Jace standing awkwardly
Clary left the door open for Jace and went to her room
Jace POV
"I see you met my sister" Jon said
"That was your sister" Jace said point to the stairs were Clary retreated
"Yea..her name is-" Jon said but was cut off by Jace
"I know her name"
"How do you know her name" Jon asked curiously
"I met her at the airport..when she was waiting to be picked up" Jace said
"Oh" Jon said
"Yea"
I didn't really know how to end it sorry it was so...awkward I guess but at least I put in jace's pov..I hope you enjoyed
