Hi. Ok so here's chapter two! Sorry this chapter is super short... I've been working on "Heidi the Heavenly" so I haven't updated this or "I'm Glad I Met You". But I will! I'd like to thank my reviewers thus far: Demulrina, darkgemwildcat, Gabgalrox, srhittson, and BroadwayBabeWA! You're all awesome! Anyway enjoy the chapter!
Glinda's POV
"Elphie?" I said in complete shock, but also slightly happy inside. I hugged her. How great it was to see my best friend again...
"Glinda..."
"I missed you! You just left me... How could you Elphie? I would have defended you, I've had so many friends, but you're the only one that mattered...
"I had to Glinda, I missed you too..."
Behind us stood the utterly confused crowd. I get out of the hug and looked to the people.
"My fellow Ozians-"
"Glinda! What is the meaning of this?" someone in the crowd shouted. The crowd was absolutely chaotifying!
"What is the Witch doing here? She died!"
"She's alive!"
"Silence!" I yelled. The crowd instantly became silent.
"My fellow Ozians, Elphaba is not wicked in the tiniest bit, as the wizard classified her. Neither was her sister Nessarose. Elphaba., who you call "The Wicked Witch of the West" is my best friend and always will be. I don't care what you say or do, I will defend her with my life if I have to!"
The crowd stayed silent for a while. After a long silence the crowd cheered and agreed with Glinda thus clapping for Elphaba.
Elphie's POV
Did that really just happen? I then sensed something was not right. I looked to the crowd. Oh no, someone had a gun... It was aimed at Glinda.
"Glinda the "Good" has betrayed us! I don't know what you are all cheering about!"
The man with the gun pulled the trigger and it right when it was about to hit Glinda, I dashed in front of it and took the bullet...
"Elphie Noooo!" Glinda yelled.
I was knocked out...
