So here's what happened the next day when Ruby and Fernando met again. It's 99% flashback.
Flashback
Fernando. His name. The handsome Mexican soldier. Ruby felt something magical when she looked into his eyes. It's just their clour maybe. But she never felt anything like that when a man spoke to her. It was...passionate.
"So you came here just to ask my name?" Fernando asked with a charming smile that melted Ruby's heart.
"No, I came here to bring back your coat." And to ask your name.
"Well, señora, thank you for bringing my coat back. I have some work to do, maybe we should talk later in a restaurant or something."
"You...asking me on a date?" Ruby looked surprised at him, feeling a kind of fear inside her.
"We can call it a date if you want to. So yes, I'm asking you on a date. On my budget, of course."
"I'll be there at seven. Meet me here." They both smiled and walked away.
Ruby's room
"I have a date. I have a date. I have a date!" Ruby walked into her room, feeling way too excited about her little date with Fernando. Lilith followed her to make sure she won't do anything stupid. "Lili, I'm so excited!"
"I know, Ruby. But you need to calm down!"
"You're right. I need to be calm and...I need a dress." She stopped, thinking about what to wear. She needed something discreet but also sexy to make Fernando more interested.
"Ohh...Let me see your closet! I'll help you!" Lilith ran to Ruby's closet and soon she grabbed the grey dress that Ruby bought yesterday. "This is perfect!"
"You don't think it's too low?"
"Ruby, I told you, it's perfect."
"Okay, let me put it on."
A few minutes later
"Ruby Sheridan, you're absolutely stunning."
"Thank you, let's hope Fernando will like it."
"Believe me, he'll love it!"
Lilith:

Ruby let out a little chuckle.
Lilith:
"Friday night and the lights are low

"Oh no, I'm not looking for adventures. You know what? I don't care! Let's have some fun!" And they both started dancing.
Ruby and Lilith:

They both rushed out of Ruby's room, down the stairs, right to the living room where Benjamin, Ruby's father sat on the couch. Ruby walked behind him, slowly caressing his shoulders.
Ruby:
"You're a teaser, you turn them on..."
"Ruby, what are you doing?" Asked Benjamin with the deep voice of his.
"We're just having some fun, Dad."
Ruby:
"Leave them burning and then you're gone."
The girls quickly ran away, straight to the entrance, opening the door wildly.
"Have fun girls, but Ruby, your dress is too low!" He shouted after them, but Ruby didn't hear it.
Ruby and Lilith:
"Looking out for another, anyone will do

They started dancing in front of the house, smiling happily, both of them feeling excited.

The two girls laughed. "Lili, you always know how to keep me in good mood."
"Haha, now go, you have a date."
Later at the harbour
Ruby looked around, her eyes searching for Fernando again. Where is he again? A young man looking like Fernando sat at the edge of the surface with a guitar in his hands, slowly playing. It must be him.
"I didn't know you can play."
"Oh, hey. Well, the ladies like it so I thought I should learn how to play." Ruby looked at him, feeling a bit shocked. And how many girls fell for him because of his guitar? "Don't worry, it's just a joke. My father taught me how to play when I was younger."
"Thank god. I mean...Jesus, I'm thinking out loud again."
Fernando chuckled. "You're cute. Come, sit down." Ruby sat down carefully, making sure her dress won't reveal too much.
"I thought we're having dinner."
"I lied." He swallowed. "I wanted to sing with you, señora." Does he know that I'm a singer? "I'm sorry, but I wanted to make sure you'll come." The soldier looked down at the waves, feeling sad and stupid.
"It's okay, but I would come if you ask me to sing with you. I love singing, it's my favourite thing. And believe me, I love it more than food."
"Really? I thought you'll bite my head off."
"I'm not that kind." She said looking up at Fernando.
"When what kind of girl you are, Ruby?"
"You'll have to find it out all by yourself." Ruby didn't realize that they started flirting.
"You're a brave girl, señora. But you're playing with fire." His voice is so deep and seductive that a slight shiver ran down Ruby's spine. "Well, we came here to sing, let me start."
Fernando:

The soldier stopped and looked at Ruby, who opened her mouth in shock. "Fernando...Your voice is beautiful. I still can't believe my ears."
"What? Can't a soldier have a soft side and good voice? It's your turn, beautiful."
Ruby smirked. "Start playing, soldier."
Ruby:

Fernando watched the young lady as she sang. It was a real music to his ears. Her voiced melted his heart, feeling something he never experienced before.
Ruby and Fernando:

It was a shock for both of them, but mostly for Fernando. Here's this beautiful and kind girl with an angelic voice. He couldn't help himself, he needed to kiss her.
"Ruby..." He looked deeply into the blonde girl's eyes.
"Yes, Fernando?"
He put his hand on her face, caressing her cheek gently. Fernando slowly closed the distance between them and their lips finally met. He kissed her lips gently but with passion and she kissed back. She felt a little bit of fear, but it was okay. Ruby wrapped her arms around his neck, feeling the love and promises in his kiss. It was exactly what they both needed. She moaned and Fernando parted their lips, already knowing that it's enough.
"I'm so sorry, señora. I shouldn't have done it. It was too soon but you are irresistible. I'm really sorry, please forgive me!"
"Fernando... It's okay, don't say sorry. I wanted to do the same."
"Really? I mean, that's great! But you need to know that I don't want adventures. For me, it's not about getting between your legs. I mean I want to get between them but not now, only when you want it. Ruby, I..." He's an idiot. The passionate Fernando turned into a babbling idiot. God, what are you doing to me, señora?
"Fernando. Let's go home and think about what happened here. We're still young, full of life I don't want to rush." She touched his hand and looked deeply into his eyes. "Meet me here tomorrow, just like today and we'll talk about what happens next."
"Okay..."
She gave him a kiss on the cheek. "Goodbye, Fernando."
"Goodbye, Ruby."
Ruby stood up, smiling. God, what a day.
Flashback end
"Wow. Señor Cienfuegos, I mean grandpa is much more passionate than I thought." Said Sophie, feeling surprised.
Ruby chuckled. "Ohh, honey. He's like a real fire."
