Alex lifted himself over the rock. Yesterday, Fyre City was attacked by a combined force of mobs. No one knows who sent them, but everyone knew there were a lot of them. The king told Alex they had been attacking for days, and that last night was the strongest siege yet. The Lord knew that the kingdom wouldn't last for long, and that Alex needed to find the leader.
After asking around a small village outside Fyre City, Alex's best lead was Herobrine. Herobrine was a 'dead' Commander from the Civil War. The Lord had suspected him as well, but Alex disregarded it. According to the village people, Herobrine was supposedly held up in Silver Cave.
Now, Alex was a warrior, a brave, sadistic warrior. But Silver Cave is legend. Right before the raid on Nether Mountain, Herobrine withstood several assaults in Silver Cave, before retaliating against an entire soldier camp. No one knows what was, or is, in that cave.
Alex stood at a dark, small entrance. Even during the day, the entrance to Silver Cave was terrifying. Lighting a torch, Alex walked into the darkness.
The cave was very straight forward, with slick, stone walls. Scratching noises echoed through the cavern every few seconds. Alex wished he'd brought his pickaxe to collect a lot of the ores he was seeing on the walls.
"Ow! Mother fu-''.
"Silence!".
"Fuck you!" (Ha, thought I'd keep it censored, didn't you?)
"Shoot him again"
"Ow! Run hell, asshole!"
"…What? Never mind, seize him!" Several bony hands grabbed Alex, and began dragging him backwards. A few minutes later, they threw him into the center of a circular room. Torches lined the walls, illuminating shadows everywhere. Alex got a good look of his captors: Several skeletons and… A miner?
"Wh- Who the hell are you?" Alex questioned.
"Tut tut, I ask the questions here. Who are you?" the miner replied.
"No, no asshole, I asked first" Alex retorted. Before the miner had a chance to respond, an arrow appeared, striking one of the skeletons. The rest of the skeletons were dragged into the shadows.
"Take your sword from its sheathe and place it on the ground, slowly!" a voice commanded. The miner cooperated, placing his sword on the ground and backing away. Three figures walked out from the shadows, each wielding a different weapon. One man pointed a bow and arrow at the miner, while another held a golden sword, the last wielding an iron axe.
"Who the hell are you guys? And who the fuck is this?!" Alex yelled, pointing at the Miner.
"Indeed, who are you soldier?" the archer questioned.
"What? You think I'm going to tell y-"the miner was interrupted by a FUCKING ARROW TO THE KNEE!... I mean shoulder. He flinched, but remained composed.
"The other one's going straight to your head unless we get answers" the swordsman threatened.
After sighing, the miner explained, "My name is Agent Delta; I am from a secret organization that first arose during the Civil War, so suck my d-."
"You're a member of the FactioN?"
Ignoring the interruption , Delta nodded, picking up his sword. "And if weren't for you assholes, I would've killed Herobrine by now."
"Yeah, yeah shut the fuck up. Who are you guys then?" Alex pointed towards the three soldiers.
"We are the soldiers the Lord sent to assist you" the archer claimed. Skeptical, Alex waved it off, exiting the circular room. The three soldiers and Delta followed.
Eventually they all entered a large room littered with random stone blocks.
"What the literal fuck?" Alex said. After assessing what they could see, the group walked carefully around the blocks, surveying the rest of the room.
"Hey, what was that?" they all stayed silent, listening quietly. There was a sudden slurping noise. It continued, till they heard it come from the other side of the room. The noise began echoing throughout the entire room.
"Run!" one of the soldiers shouted. They all blindly darted in a single direction.
"Over here" someone yelled, drawing the group in the general direction. They all fell through a doorway into a dimly lit hallway.
"Zeta? What the hell are you doing here?" Delta yelled. The group all looked over to the sound of the yelling. Delta stood opposite of a woman he called 'Zeta'.
"We're supposed to be partner's asshole, you left without me!" she shouted.
"This mission is dangerous and you weren't ready!"
"I may be the new girl, but I'm in this group for a reason, god dammit!"
"If you don't leave right now you're going to fucking die!"
"I can take care of myself asshole!"
"Guys?"
"What!?" they yelled in unison. Alex pointed towards the doorway, where the slurping noise got increasingly louder. The group (including Zeta) quickly ran in the opposite direction.
"I told you, I fucking told you!' Delta yelled. "You are going to fuc- Shit!" they all halted at a giant hole. The hole looked bottomless and had no edges to climb around. Behind them, the slurping grew closer. Even the small amount of light didn't reveal the creatures.
"Well, plans, anyone?"
