Chapter Two: Who is this?

Human world

Rainbow Dash was walking to the park, a breeze through her rainbow hair. Something caught her eye, it was a box, which was weird because her town was pretty clean. Rainbow walked up to it and gasped at what was inside of it. There was a light blue baby pony, sleeping soundlessly. She had a rainbow mane and tail, messy, kinda like Rainbow's hair. What caught Rainbow off guard was the wings planted on the pony's side. Dash reached into her pocket and fished out her cell phone. She dialed her friend's number. "Fluttershy meet me halfway to the park, I have something to show you," Dash said. "Okay," Fluttershy said before she hung up. Rainbow waited countless minutes until her friend showed up. "Fluttershy! Look into that box and tell me I'm not hallucinating, I swear I see a winged pony," Dash said pointing at the brown box. Fluttershy edged toward it, expecting it to be a prank, but to her relief and surprise she saw a baby pegasus. "You're not Rainbow it's a baby pegasus, but it doesn't make sense, becuase those are fantasy creatures," Fluttershy mumbled. Rainbow stood beside her friend. "I dunno Fluttershy, she looks flesh and blood to me," Rainbow said. "Then who is she? She looks an aweful lot like you," Fluttershy said. "We can't just leave her here either."

Rainbow Dash looked at the little pegasus and something inside of her told her to keep her. "I'll bring her home," Rainbow said. "But she needs a name."

"Oh how about Beauty, " Fluttershy said. "No I'm gonna call her Skittles," Rainbow picked the pegasus named, Skittles up. "Oh that's a pretty name!" Fluttershy exclaimed. "Yeah, I'm gonna go home see yah at school," Rainbow said, as she walked home, passing trees mailboxes, and other houses. She finally got to her house and walked in. Her Mother was in the kitchen. "Hey Mom," Dash said. Her Mom turned around and saw Skittles. "Who is this?" Rainbow's Mom asked, pointing to the pegasus. "This is Skittles, I found her in a box by the park and I kinda got attached to her, please let me keep her," Rainbkw pleaded. "As long as you take care of her," Dash's Mom said. "I will," Dash said and went up to her room.
