Chapter 1: The Day of the Dinos Part 1
Our first day at Reef side with a new changed in our lives with two strangers and one not so strange to me.
Me and Kira arrive at the school and head to first period science with Dr. Oliver . Me and Kira are sitting in our seats beside one another when this blonde came over and said " Cassidy Cornell . I have question for newbie . Why are you sitting next to the Avril wannbe in yellow?" I look at her with a neutral expression but inside very mad . " I am sitting beside for several reasons . One is because she is my sister . Two her family adopted me . Finally she is a person that I would want as a friend ." I said making my point to her. Turning away from her shocked face I look at Kira and see this African American teenage boy in blue staring at me with a shocked but happy face.
I raise my eyebrow at him with a ' what are you looking at me ' face . He just smiled and nodded his head toward the teacher. " Hello , My name is Dr. Oliver and welcome to first period science," He looks around the room and sees an empty seat," Is someone absent?" Later during free period me and Kira were on a wooden picnic table on the school grounds playing our instruments . Kira on her guitar and me on my special flute made from materials that a normal flute are made from. " Oh, can you tell me where Tell me where it's at. Freak you out , freak you out ." I finish out the song with a special trill I made for the song. The new principal Mrs. Randall came over and said " Well Miss. Ford and Miss. Jewelson you two need written permission to play an instruments on school grounds ." Kira looked at Principal Randall and said " Did you know that students that play instruments have 50 percent more to enter college."
