I ran off, feeling many gazes staring at me, many wondering what had happened. They had not heard sister's mumbled words. They did not know anything.

I ran blindly through the snow. I noticed the snow was falling faster, and soon, it would be too freezing for even I, with my thick fur, to stand. There was no cover here, though. I couldn't hide in a hollowed, fallen tree. I couldn't rest with my packmates in a warm den. No, I should forget that. I must keep going on.. I must..

The snow, rocks, and trees where blurring and merging with one another, as I ran on, getting slower, and slower. Finally, I stumbled to the snow. I fainted, welcoming the calm darkness that encased me.

A young girl, of maybe 10, was walking in the forest. She was bored, for nothing seemed to be going on in town. The professor didn't have any new starters, so she couldn't train a cute Chikorita.. And.. her big brother was still training his Pokemon. He was trying to become a Pokemon master, and had three badges. So, she couldn't play with him.

Something grey caught her eye. It looked like a Pokemon, a Poochyena. They were called Poochyena, right..? Yeah, that's what her brother said. She then walked towards the wolf Pokemon, which seemed to be asleep. Her eyes widened. But.. there was no other Pokemon nearby, and it didn't seem to have a trainer. Had its parents abandoned her..?

The girl picked up the Pokemon, and started sprinting to her house. Mom and Dad would know what to do.
