Manhattan, Dystopian New York City:2023
Captain America was holding his shield high above his head, trying to deflect a laser as a Sentinel fired upon him. 'Give up. Give up. Give up.' The monstrous robot repeated over and over. 'I...will never...give up!' Cap yelled back, noticing the heat increasing. His eyebrows were singed off, the remains of his mask dripping around his tattered suit, sweat falling from his face. Slowly, his shield began to melt, and it seemed like an instant. There was a flash of light, a scream, and Captain America was a pile of ashes on the street.

'GO, GO, GO!' Rogue yelled as a Sentinel approached, running down the hallway with Magneto and Spider-Man by her side. Rogue used her super-strength to hold open the door, while Magneto and Spidey jumped into a truck. Spider-Man snapped the driver's neck, to which Magneto replied 'Oh, must you be so crude?' Rogue rolled her eyes as she hopped into the back of the truck, opening the sliding glass that opened the view to the front. 'Oh hush old man, we saved you. We need you. Now start this thing before we get killed!' Magneto smirked, willing the metal truck to go forward. 'And take this.' Spidey threw Magneto's trademark red suit at him. Magneto gasped at the sight of it. 'It's been seven years since I last wore this, since I was last...Magneto.' Rogue cleared her throat. 'Will y'all stop with the sentiment and just get on with it?' Magneto slipped on his suit and helmet, before speaking up. 'Who's still alive?' Spider-Man rolled his eyes from behind his mask and counted on figners. 'Oh y'know. Donny from the pizzeria, that blonde cashier at Walmart, etc.' Rogue slapped him, prompting an 'OUCH!' From the Webhead. Rogue spoke up. 'Us, Professor X, Doctor Doom, Iron Man, Wolverine, Invisible Woman, and the Mandarin.' She listed. 'So...that makes nine. Oh look, we're here.' They pulled into a garage. Aunt May's garage.
