Kaoru's Cry
She looks,
Wants to comfort,
Can't.
She watches him
His dark despair.
She wishes there was something,
Anything she could do to ease his pain.
She tries.
Is that a glimmer of happiness in his eyes?
It's gone.
She does her best,
She sees his deep torment,
His fathomless sorrow.
She keeps watching
And trying,
Hoping that one day,
Maybe his eyes would brighten,
Glow with that light it once held.
But until then,
She won't give up.
She'll continue trying
To put that light in his eyes,
And make them glow forever.
So? What do you think? I was thinking of making this into a poetry series, with everyone's thoughts. Or at least try. I'm already working on Yahiko. And if anyone can think of a better title, please tell me!
