Chapter 2:

Naruto glared angrily at the Uchiha couple as they stared back in happiness.

"Naruto!" Sakura yelled as she ran at him and hugged him. "Thank god you are alright."

Naruto said nothing and showed no reaction to her actions.

Sasuke noticed this.

'I thought he would have been excited to see us again.' Sasuke thought as he looked at his best friend.

Sakura pulled back and wiped her tears of happiness as she looked at him, but soon stepped back when she felt his glare bore into her as he looked upset.

"I repeat, what are you doing here, Uchiha?" Naruto stated sternly as his eyes moved back and forth between the two shinobi. "I am in the middle of something and I would love to get back to it than deal with you. Now what do you want!"

Sakura stumbled a bit and was caught by Sasuke, who was behind her, his right hand around her shoulder.

"We were ordered to find you and ask you to return to the village." Sasuke said calmly, not liking the feeling Naruto was exuding through his words and actions.

Naruto snorted.

"Yeah, fuck that." Naruto said, waving his false right hand back and forth. "I'm not returning to that hell hole you call home. I live here now as a potter. Now leave, I'm busy."

Naruto turned and started to walk to his shop.

Black flames erupted around Naruto in a half circle to keep him from moving forward.

"Sorry Naruto," Sasuke said as he finished activating his Mangekyo and his Rinne-Sharingan. "By force or in peace, you will be returning to the village."

Naruto whipped his arm at Sasuke, entering Kyubi-Sage mode, his charka arm extending, hitting Sasuke and pinning him to a tree.

"Undo those flames Uchiha!" Naruto Growled as he saw them inch closer to the store house where Tamamo was hiding. "I SAID UNDO THEM NOW!"

"Do it Sasuke!" Sakura cried out as she saw her boyfriend struggle to break free.

The black flames intensified and closed in on the store house, thus Naruto created a clone and sent it through the flames and into the building.

Sasuke and Sakura heard a scream of terror as the building caught fire and the shadow clone appeared, holding a child with black hair.

"Daddy!" Tamamo screamed as she ran from the clone to her father, scared and worried as she did not understand what was going on. "I was so scared."

"I know you were sweetheart," Naruto said as he caressed her head as he unpinned Sasuke. "But I need you to stay with the clone and go away for a bit."

Tamamo felt hurt but nodded her head as she returned to the clone's embrace as he picked her up and he ran from the scene, leaving Naruto alone with his burning store house and his former teammates.

"Who was that?" Sasuke asked as he stood up.

"None of your business you bastard, now undo those flames!" Naruto threatened.

The black never ending flames dissipated as Sasuke looked upon them with his eyes, leaving the ruins of his store house and the pieces he had been waiting to sell. Even Tamayo's camellia was burned.

"Leave now you two." Naruto demanded. "You ruined my property and destroyed pieces that I was planning on selling tomorrow."

"Naruto, please come home?" Sakura asked, begging even.

"My home is here." Naruto snapped as he glared at the two shinobi. "Now, for the last time, leave and don't return. I have enough on my plate as it is and that shit hole of a village is the last thing I want to deal with."

Sasuke looked in the direction the clone went and could see that clone's chakra and the girls. They were a mile away.

Sasuke, not liking what he was planning, vanished from Naruto's view and right before the clone.

Naruto got memories of Sasuke appearing before him and stabbing him with his sword as he grabbed Tamamo while the clone fell before being popped.

'DAMN IT!' Naruto thought as Sasuke reappeared, his one arm around Tamamo's body as she struggled to escape, tears running down her face.

"DADDY!" Tamamo screamed as Sasuke held her into him, his blade against her neck.

"Now, are you going to come quietly, or am I going to have to do something drastic." Sasuke asked as he flicked his wrist, touching Tamamo's cheek with the edge of his blade.

Naruto's rage erupted as he watched his former friend threaten his daughter with his sword.

"That's enough Sasuke!" Sakura shouted as she was worried for all three of the people she was looking at until she felt herself in Naruto's grasp, his arms around her head, in a position that if he so wanted her neck would be snapped.

"Now you are in the same position, Uchiha." Naruto growled. "Now, let Tamamo go and leave, and your girl and child can live another day."

'How did he know?' Sakura and Sasuke thought as Sasuke struggle to hold the young Uzumaki down as she struggled.

"Sasuke…" Sakura was able to gasp and Naruto squeezed her neck tighter.

Sasuke looked Naruto in the eyes.

They were cold and serious. Not a single bluff in his heart.

Naruto would kill Sakura for his family.

Sasuke grit his teeth and let Tamamo go, who ran to her dad, crying.

Once she was close enough, Naruto released Sakura and pushed her away and grabbed his daughter.

"Last time," Naruto stated as he exited his Kyubi mode, but was still in Sage mode. "Leave now, or else I won't be a merciful."

Naruto took his crying and hurting child into their home and shut the door.

Sakura gasped for air as Sasuke helped her up.

"Naruto… He … he's changed." Sakura said shakily as she trembled.

Sasuke placed an arm around her and helped her walk down to the village to find a place to settle down for the day.

Naruto was sitting down and held Tamamo as she held onto him, crying.

"It's alright," Naruto said soothingly as he rubbed her back. "It's alright, they are gone now."

"I was so scared." Tamamo whimpered for the umpteenth time.

"I know and I'm sorry you had to experience that sweetheart." Naruto said as he pulled her close to his heart.

The family of two stayed silent.

"Tamamo…" Naruto said as he stood up. "We are going to leave this village."

"Why daddy?" Tamamo asked confused. "Are they the same who hurt mommy?"

"Those people from earlier, they are from my past and now that they know I'm here, we can't stay unless we are willing to let the villagers and your friends get hurt." Naruto tried to explain, feeling a pain in his heart when she brought up Tsubaki. "So to keep them safe we need to leave."

"But I have friends here!" Tamamo stated. "I can't leave them."

Naruto shook his head as he created a clone and sent it to his daughter's room to start packing her things for her.

"I'm sorry sweetheart, but we don't have a choice." Naruto said sadly as he made a few more to go to his room for his belongings and another to help the one his Tamamo's room.

"No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no….." Tamamo screamed as she removed herself from Naruto and ran to her room.

Naruto got memories of her punching him in the crotch, feeling some phantom pain.

Naruto entered Tamamo's room and gently grabbed the thrashing five year old.

"Tamamo," Naruto said sternly, gaining her teary eyed attention to him. "I won't accept this behavior. I don't want to leave either, but if it means keeping you and this village safe then I'll do what it takes to secure that safety. Now calm down and pack your clothes and your belongings."

Tamamo wriggled in his grip.

"I DON'T WANT TO LEAVE MOMMY BEHIND!" She screamed, tears flowing from her eye harder.

Naruto gripped her shoulders and pulled her into a hug.

"I don't either." Naruto said sobbing also. "But I promised her I would keep you safe. I know it will be difficult, but it will only be for a short while."

Tamamo took some deep breathes and hugged her dad.

"Wh..where would we be going?"

"We would go to Suna, to visit Gaara."

"We would see Uncle Gaara?" Tamamo asked as she pulled away.

"Yes we would." Naruto said as he wiped her tears away gently. "So, be a good girl and help pack up. The sooner we leave the sooner we can return to this place."

Tamamo nodded, wiped her face, smiled forcefully and started to help the clone pack.

Naruto stepped out of the room and bit his thumb.

A small messenger toad appeared before him.

"Hello, Master Naruto." The small toad said cheerfully as Naruto pulled out a scroll and wrote on it.

"Take this to Gaara, the current Kazekage in Suna." Naruto said as he strapped the scroll to the toads back.

"Alright Master Naruto, see you later." The toad said as it puffed out of existence and to Suna.

"You really do want to cause trouble for him don't you?" Kurama asked as Naruto walked around the house, summoning more clones and grabbing and packing then sealing more of his family's belongings and important documents.

'No I don't, but I know Gaara would protect his Goddaughter with his life.' Naruto thought as he continued to seal stuff away.

"If you say so." Kurama said as he turned to lay on his side and fell asleep.

After several hours, leaving a few things behind, Naruto had everything that needed sealing sealed away and some back packs for him and Tamamo to have on them ready and full of necessities, including Tamamo's stuffed fox, Kuina.

Naruto took Tamamo's hand, locked the door and walked to the village, letting his friends know he was leaving and asking if they could keep an eye on it, and he paid the carpenters to fix his store house while he was gone, to which they agreed.

All the while, Naruto kept his Sage Sensory ability on to keep an eye on Sasuke and Sakura.

He could feel their sadness and fear for their child's life through their chakra, thanks to Kurama. Naruto, while actually happy he got to see them again, knew it was a bad thing now that they knew he was alive and well, even having a child.

Tamamo walked next to Naruto in silence as she sadly walked away from her home for an unknown amount of time.

"It will be alright," Naruto said as he patted her head. "It will be temporary. We will be back before you know sweetheart."

Tamamo held Kuina to her chest as she pouted.

"I know."

Naruto grabbed her hand and they walked in silence for a few hours before they stopped for the night.
