Hey everyone, I know I haven't updated in forever… but for a while I kind of had really bad writers block. Seriously, I couldn't even get through two sentences without freezing up. But I'm trying to get this posted ASAP. I promise. I do not own any of the Fairy Tail characters; I only own Onyx and a few random faces. Please read and review if you would like to share ideas for another chapter. Or if you have a guess on whom Onyx will fall in love with now.
"Is she awake?" Asked Natsu as he hovered over a sleeping Onyx.
"Obviously not," Said Gray as he smacked the back of his friends head. "She's probably still worn out by that last mission, I mean; she did break a few bones."
"True, I guess next time we'll have to choose a less dangerous mission," He mumbled and rubbed the back of his head where Gray had hit him. "And why did you hit me so hard?!"
"Because you're a hot-headed idiot." Gray shrugged.
"Oh? And what does that make you? Ice-block!"
"What did you just call me?!" He snapped.
"You heard me, strip-freak." Natsu taunted and straightened his stance so that his back was to Onyx.
"Say that to my face you pyro!" Gray yelled then marched over so that his nose was only inches away from Natsu's.
"Strip. Freak." Natsu spat slowly to add more tension.
That's when the tension became too strong and both boys snapped from their self-control. Gray lunged first, and then Natsu swung his fist. Before long it was an all-out battle of strength. "You're such a nuisance!" One yelled. "Me?! Have you looked in the mirror lately?!" Said the other. "That's it!" "You're sooo dead!"
"SHUT UP!"
Before either could react, an object was thrown between them. Natsu and Gray blinked and turned to see one of Onyx's Twin Daggers lodged into the wall, the only part that showed was the handle. They turned back to see Onyx sitting up in bed glaring at them. But that's not what made them freeze. It was the fact that Onyx was only wearing shorts and a wrap that covered her whole chest and left her stomach bare. The dark bruise from her childhood hidden behind her guild mark had finally started to fade, the reason for the sudden fading was unknown but happily welcomed by Onyx.
Sadly she didn't look interested in the bruise at the moment. Her anger was directed at the two boys fighting in her bedroom. It was obvious that this Onyx was the one that everyone feared; and for good reason. "Unless you wish to be thrown out the window, you better back out slowly." She warned.
The two nodded and quickly bolted for the door. They finally stopped once they had made it out of the building and hugged the wall for support.
"That was way too close." Gray panted.
"Yeah, truce?" Natsu held out his hand.
"For now."
Later at the guild:
"Ah!" Onyx stretched. "I slept so well last night." She said to Mira as she handed her a glass to dry, then reached back into the warm, soapy water to scrub another dirty dish.
"That's good, I'm glad you're getting enough rest." Mira smiled and dried the shining glass.
"Yeah, although I noticed something really strange when I finally woke up this morning." Onyx scrunched her brows.
"What was that?"
"My left Twin Dagger was stuck in the wall."
"That's not good." Mira arched an eyebrow. "What did your landlady say?"
"Nothing after I gave her the money to repair it, along with extra just in case she was mad about it."
"I bet Gray and Natsu disturbed you while you were sleeping," Said Gajeel, who was stacking the dirty plates. "That sounds like something those two idiots would d-" He would have finished had it not been for an ice ball being thrown at the back of his head.
The three quickly turned to see Natsu and Gray innocently playing a game of Gomoku. It was a very popular game in the guild for the last few months after Romeo had returned from a mission and taught the game to everyone.
They turned back and Gajeel went on. "I bet they started fighting and Sleep you went on one of their rages and-" Another ice ball hit him, once again cutting him off. "That's it Gray, you've asked for it!" He yelled and jumped over the bar. A fire ball came flying next and Gajeel quickly deflected it.
"Oh no," Mira sighed. "They're going to start a fight in the guild hall yet again…"
"I'll get the fire extinguisher." Onyx sighed and slouched into the kitchen. "Juvia! We're in need of your assistance!"
Juvia ran past Onyx and stopped at the bar, she almost drooled when she saw that Gray had taken off his shirt. "Juvia must watch her Gray fight for her honor!"
"You do realize that he's only fighting to cover his own butt," Erza remarked as she leaned against the bar. "This has nothing to do with your honor."
"Just let me dream that it is for once." Juvia shrugged off her comment.
"As long as you put out Natsu's flames after it's over." Onyx rolled her eyes. "While they fight it out, who wants to go swimming?"
"Me!" Mira and Erza said at the same time. The two then stopped and glared at each other.
"You always have to speak when I do, don't you?" Erza huffed.
"I'm sorry that my voice overpowers yours so much." Mira smirked.
Before Onyx could calm them, they had already changed into battle attire. "Let's settle this now." They yelled.
Onyx sweat dropped as the fights between both groups began. "I'll just go swim with Levy…"
