"'Morning Owen, Gwen, Tosh." Ianto greeted the other members of the Torchwood team, excluding Jack since he'd already arrived earlier. The adorable Welshman swept past his colleagues on his way to his desk, though most of them turned around to address him in reply to his cheery welcoming statement. It sure was a great way to start the day.

"Morning Ianto." Toshiko spoke equally contentedly, her eyes lighting up at the sight of her dear friend. Meanwhile, Owen simply nodded, barely turning his head, concentrating more on his work which appeared to be frustrating him slightly as a crease on his forehead was growing.

"Hi Ianto." Gwen added, flashing a grin at Ianto as she moved away from her own workplace to participate in further conversation. "Hey, are you getting coffee? I'm gasping for a good cuppa."

"Of course. That is my job, after all. Anyone else for coffee?" The receptionist offered, smiling at Gwen.

"None for me thanks." Tosh replied at the same time as Owen did, saying: "Black, no sugar, thanks."

"Sure thing." As the coffee boy reached the brand new machine they'd invested in recently due to everyone's complaining, he realised there was someone he hadn't asked. The most important of the team, in a couple of ways. However, before Ianto had chance to ask Jack what he wanted to drink, a sneaky idea occurred to him, which involved him making a surprise cup of coffee for the boss…

Stepping into the Captain's independent office, the Welshman grinned a little too enthusiastically as he handed Jack a fresh coffee. "There you go sir, hot off the press."

"It's not the only one." Even though his supposed seductive sentence didn't really make much sense (Ianto assumed Jack was referring to either him or himself being 'hot'), it was still amusing as Jack winked at his colleague. "Wait a second, I didn't order this?" The boss abruptly commented a second before he took a sip.

"No sir, but I thought I'd be a good little worker and get it for you anyway. Drink up." Ianto gained a suspiciously devious expression on his face as Jack shrugged and blew on his drink before taking an almighty swig of it. It was only a split-second later when the boss' face scrunched up in disgust and he desperately tried not to spit out the awful liquid. At that point, Ianto figured it was safe to burst into a fit of giggles.

"Ianto, what the hell?!" Jack was still reeling as he stuck out his tongue and raised his eyebrows at his employee.

"Well, sir, sometimes you just aren't sweet enough, I thought you could do with a bit more sugar."

"A BIT more?! Wow, Ianto, just wow. Pranks, huh? I didn't think you had it in you, to be honest. But I do applaud your boldness." Ianto's cheeks were vaguely pink, probably half due to laughter and half due to a little embarrassment of what he'd just spontaneously done. "Y'know, I could get you fired because of this…" Jack remarked, although it was fairly obvious he wasn't being serious.

"Perhaps, sir, but you like me too much. You know I'm too attractive to sack." The Welshman was surprisingly unrelenting with his deadpan sassy comments that day.

"Ah, you got me. Now get back to work, you little prankster you." The Captain rolled his eyes, however he was smiling under his attempt at sincerity. And Ianto was right; he was too attractive to be mad with.
