AMY'S POV: As Sonic and I were looking for our teacher, we just happened to hear something coming from the principal's office. With our detective skills at the ready, we walked next to the door and listened to what the principal and some other person talking.
"You've heard that the one the sons and daughters of Dark Frost and Goutega goes here, right?" we heard the principal say.
"Yes, sir! I HAVE heard he's here." the other person said. "Why do you ask?"
"As you know, Dark Frost and Goutega are pure evil, so that leads me to believe that their son and daughter, Sonic and Sonia, are evil just like them!" the principal said.
Just hearing this made me furious; just because Sonic and Sonia are children of two villains, doesn't make them villains. But, I looked at him after the principal mentioned that Sonic IS a son of two evil people.
"I'll explain later! We've got more important things to worry about." Sonic said.
I nodded in agreement. We kept listening to the conversation.
"So, you're asking me to get rid of them, sir?" the other person asked.
"Yes, and something tells me that Miss Amelia Rose might be involved as well, so get rid of her, too!" he replied.
I saw Sonic shaking his fist as the principal said that. I could also see the anger in his eyes.
"We have to stop this!" I heard him say. "I'm willing to believe that if they go through with this, people will probably get hurt!"
"But how? We may have superpowers, but that won't do us any bit of good... you do have superpowers, right?" I asked.
"Yes!" Sonic replied. "I do!"
"Okay, but like I just said: even though we have powers, there's no way we stop this!" I said, feeling somewhat sick to my stomach.
"Not unless we have some help!" Sonic said, grinning.
As he looked at me with that grin on his face, my stomach felt even worse! Then we noticed that the other person was about to exit the office, so we ran away as quick as we could. We got lucky that we didn't get caught, and even though I just met Sonic today, I already felt like we were really close! I also felt like Sonic probably does this all the time! Anyway, we managed to get to class without getting caught.
"Phew, that was close!" I said, panting to catch my breath.
"I'll say! If we got caught, I probably would've died from fear." Sonic told me.
"Agreed!" I replied.
A few minutes later, our teacher showed up, looking scared. At first, I felt really suspicious, but we heard his voice and it certainly wasn't him who was talking to the principal. Whoever was talking to the principal was pretty much his lackey!
"Look, I'm afraid that school will have to be dismissed for today." he said.
"Ohhhhhhhhhhhkay." Sonic said. Then he whispered to me, "I'm thinking that he knows what happened between the principal and that other person."
"I think that, too, Sonic!" I whispered back. "After finding that information, I've grown very worried!"
"You and me both, Amy! You and me both!" Sonic replied.
