Chapter 2: Escape part 1

I tried to explain to the imperial soldier, that this is a mis-understanding, and I am not a rebel.

But an imperial captain, a red guard, cut him off, when he "discovered" that im not on the list.

We lined up towards the chopping block, when a priest insisted that we had our, "final rites".

After about ten minutes, even the soldier had started yawning, and I wasn't surprised when one of the rebels shouted "shut up, just get this over with".

The priest started to cry, and ran into one of the buildings.

I stared in shock, when the guard captain sliced off the rebel's head.

She then looked straight at me and said, next the dark elf!

"Wow, I thought, I bet she was going to kill me first, if that rebel hadn't lost his patience.

Now that's racist, I said.

But just as I said this, a deafening sound, erupted over the mountain.

For some reason, the captain was completely unfazed, and told me to hurry up.

I was really starting to hate this b*tch.

Just as stopped in front of her, a giant shadow consumed the town, followed by that same roar I heard earlier.

Someone screamed, "Dragon", and the rest was chaos, a general, I hadn't noticed before shouted, get the townspeople to safety!

Another prisoner, Ralof grabbed my arm and dragged me inside a, not fully destroyed tower.

He slammed the door and whispered, "What is that thing".

We ran upstairs to find another rebel ranting about moving rocks, when suddenly the dragon breaks through the wall, grabs the other rebel and tosses him out the window.

Luckily for us, Ralof and I had ducked behind the rubble, before the dragon saw us.

Unluckily for us, Ralof chose this time to say, "I don't think he saw us", and was replied with a jet of white-hot fire.

I jumped out from the rubble and sprinted for the hole the dragon had made, and leaped across to a burning inn.
