A/n: Holy Jesus! Has it really been over a year since I tried to write a chapter for this story? Wow! Well, I'm back and ready to work on something to continue this! I got three reviews, two asking to continue it, so I am going to try and continue it with a chapter two! Here we go!
DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN FINAL FANTASY OR ITS CHARACTERS! :'(
Cloud groaned as the sun shone into his room. It seemed like he had only been a sleep for a few minutes. He looked over at the alarm clock and huffed. "How the hell is it already 9:30 A.M.? It seems like I only just fell asleep!" he pouted and threw the covers off. It had been a long night of tossing and turning and he had been looking forward to sleeping in. Apparently his body was too well adjusted to being up all night. He sighed and got up and headed to the bathroom. He knocked softly just to be sure Tifa wasn't in there. "Hey Tifa? I'm going to take a shower ok? I'll probably be a while..." he called out before locking himself in.
Tifa was at the bottom of the stairs watching him after she heard him yelling in his room. "Ok Cloud. Don't stay in too long or you'll get all pruned!" she called and laughed at the outburst of words she got from the taller#I think# male from behind the door. She turned and walked back down the hall and continued working on breakfast. She was making pancakes and bacon this morning, seeing as Kadaj and Yazoo were coming over. She smiled happily and finished her cooking as the door bell rang.
Kadaj and Yazoo stood at the door waiting. They hadn't been to see the young couple in quite some time. And after what happened with Loz that day with Cloud, they needed to explain themselves. When the door opened, it was Yazoo who spoke first. "Hello Tifa. It's been so long." he says softly with a slight bow. He would be the one doing all the talking, seeing as Kadaj spent most of his time on his phone, texting Sephiroth. Yazoo looked over at his younger brother and sighed shaking his head, sending him up to Marlene and Denzel's room. "Sorry about him. Ever since Sephiroth was revived and his mind fixed, he hasn't spoken, and he only texts Sephiroth..." he says sadly.
Tifa smiled kindly. "Hello boys. And it's fine Yazoo. Kadaj never talked much to begin with. How are you? I heard about the issue with you boys and Cloud..." she said, cutting right to the chase. She loved having them over, but she was still reeling from the fact that they had attacked her Cloud. She just didn't understand it.
Yazoo sighed. He figured he better get into explaining the situation. "Well, here's what happened. Loz had attacked Cloud, for whatever reason, I don't know. We jumped in to help, but Cloud got really banged up. Loz ended up dying in the end. He killed himself for what he had done. We've been disoriented ever since." he explained with a heavy heart. Loz and Yazoo were always the closer of the four, so he was hurt deeply with his passing.
Tifa gasped and pulled Yazoo into a tight hug. "Oh sweetie, I'm so sorry about your loss." she says, trying to console the man who looked close to tears. She remembered how broken Cloud was when Zack was killed, seeing as he could do nothing to help the poor man. She looked up as she heard someone falling down the stairs. "Oh dear lord, not again.." she said as she heard Cloud groan.
Cloud picked himself up groaning. "I am really starting to hate stairs..." he grumbled as he plopped down in the kitchen. He looked up and waved at Yazoo, never the one to hold a grudge on things that happened in the past. He sighed as he saw the tears pouring down the boy's face. "Look, I know how you feel. I consider what Zack did to be suicide as well. There were too many SOLDIERs for him to do what he did, but he did it anyways, to protect me. So I know how you feel. Dedicate your life to him, live for him, and everything will turn out alright." he said with a smile. He hoped his insights would help the young man.
Yazoo smiled and bowed with a nod. He would do just that, live for his brother.
OK! Cutting it here! What did you guys think?
