John Wakeman opened the wooden door to his house and he yelled "I'm home!" Elizabeth was quick to rush to him. "Dad! I found Jenny! Do you think you can fix her?" John looked at the blue and white robot. His mouth was gaped open. "It might be possible, but we don't know how long it has been since that robot was functional. It may have bugs in the system, real bugs, and it might not even be repairable." Elizabeth was on the verge of tears. After all the great things her Great Grandmother had said about the robot had got her hopes up. "But that doesn't mean we can't try!" Her father sighed. "I suppose your right. Now go upstairs and get my toolbox. Elizabeth ran upstairs. John looked in wonder at Jenny. She looked back at him and made more electric static. He thought about how his friend Carl had said that his grandpa told him about this strange robot. Elizabeth grapped onto John's shoulder. "Dad!" John jumped. "I got the toolbox!" He took it. "Good. Now it is very late and I don't want you to miss school. Get to bed." Elizabeth kissed him goodnight. Elizabeth's mother Candace walked into the living room. "Honey, do you really think you can fix it?" John wasn't sure he could. "No, it isn't a high chance. But I don't want to let down Lizz. He layed Jenny across a table. All the time this was happening, Jenny had remembered "Tuck and Brad!" She wondered if they were still alive. John unscrewed Jenny's belly-button and looked inside. It was a dusty mess. "Wow." he said. He started rearranging the wires and cutting the defective ones. He cleaned out the main system and found something interesting. He pulled out a small chip. Jenny's eyes slowly went dark. He put it back where he found it afraid he might have caused damage. Jenny's eyes went back to normal. He polished her entire body and replaced her chest door. He opened her head and found a mechanical brain. He examined it and put it next to Jenny. He cleaned out her head and found some marvelous things. Relics from Jenny's past. But he didn't realize the precious things he was holding. He put her back together and she started flexing her jaw and fingers. John was surprised the "operation" had worked. "Who are you?" asked Jenny.
