After the fanfic incident, Loki decided he was going to spend more time with Peter, whether it was out of pity or guilt Loki made sure he acted like a proper uncle to the young boy and Peter did not object whatsoever, cause it was all Peter really wanted.

In a very short space of time, they had become extremely close, not Peter and Tony close but almost as.

It had started about the day after the fanfic incident, Peter was tinkering in his room sitting on his bed with his web shooters and Loki had knocked on his door before stepping into the already open door.

" child I would like to speak to you " he started, Peter just stared in awe as he wasn't a custom to getting room visits from his uncle Loki, he managed to minimize the fangirl within him and composed himself.

"Anything, in particular, Mr Loki Sir" Peter questioned, refraining from using uncle yet as he didn't know what Loki would think.

" I wanted to make sure you were okay after the events yesterday and to discuss it with you, may I sit?" Peter nodded and Loki sat in front of Peter, mimicking the youth by crossing his legs.

There were a few moments of silence and Loki just watched as Peter distracted himself with his web shooters again.

" You know Peter, even if I were to die, my brother would find a way to bring me back, he would go to the edges of the universe to bring me back if he could, and I'm not even joking," he spoke seriously with meaning

" don't worry if help and go with him Mr Loki." and Loki chuckled slightly at this.

" I don't doubt that, but I wouldn't so you won't have to, I know what you've been through I would hate to put you through more pain" he sighed

" I know Mr Loki, and if you were to I know it wouldn't be your fault" peters voice wavered slightly.

" Remember child, I am a God, I would take quite a bit to kill me " Lokis voice was soft as he spoke trying to convince Peter.

" But Mr Loki what if something was to happen, I don't want anything t-to ha-happen to y-you." Peter could feel himself nearing tears and Loki seemed to notice it too.

He got up and sat right next to him, he placed a hand on his back and moved it slow soothing circles.

" if I am to go, then I won't go out without a fight, don't worry yourself too much, you have your whole life ahead of you, and I'm very old anyway chances are I might outlive you." he paused for a second because by this point the tears were threatening to spill "unless you are also a God of spiders?" loki tried to joke and Peter laughed.

" sadly no Mr Loki I'm not, though that would be great, maybe I could speak to Odin " this time it was Loki's turn to laugh.

then without warning, FRIDAYS voice spoke : " Peter, Loki dinner has arrived."

" be right there Friday" Peter replies, and Loki just shook his head " I shall never get used to the Friday thing, how Stark does it I will never understand"

•*'*~. After Dinner (in the living room).~*'*•

Peter had gone for a walk for a bit, though no doubt he was probably swinging around in the Spidey suit as Tony had finished the upgrades. The rest of the Avengers (minus Tony who was in the lab fiddling with things) were watching a film Steve and Bucky had chosen since they were still trying to watch every film they could, they were watching Titanic and they had neared the end of the film when Peter came back, it must have been raining outside tho cause peter was soaked, he sat down in the only free space which was next to Loki. There was silence for a will till they started jumping into the water, and Loki could be heard muttering numbers "4,8,3,5,6,5,3,8" then I got progressively worse and louder " Ooh a 7, not so good 4, that was terrible 1, hmm okay a 5. " and it took everyone a Little while before they realized he was calling out diving scores. Bucky and Steve just glared at him but everyone was glaring with an amused expression. Then after he yelled " that was amazing a 10" Steve shouted at him " LOKI OUT " so Peter got up and spoke " come on Mr Loki we can go see Mr Stark in the lab" so they went down and were greeted by a laughing Tony as Peter explained they got kicked out of film time.

" so why did Steve kick you out of the movie"

" Mr Loki kept shouting diving scores during titanic " Peter answered unhappily

" well they were doing good, that last one was a ten!"

" good for them, " Tony said as he howled with laughter.

" child, why are your shoes wet ?" Loki asked noticing his wet shoes.

" There was a puddle!"

" so why did you step in it?" Loki pushed
