It started of as a normal day.

Wake up.

Take pills.

Shower.

Brush.

Go to school.

A typical morning for Midoriya Izuku.

But nothing is normal for me, nothing is normal about me.

Fate just hates me like that.

But then, that 'go to school' never happened.

Why?

Because 'get held hostage by a villain' happened.

It happened while Izuku was walking to school. He had been going down his usual route, keeping his back to the wall, eyes scanning for potential threats. Not that he normally found any. But old habits die hard.

Green slime clouded his vision.

The first thing he did was panic.

I'm going to die, I'm going to suffocate. I DON'T WANT TO DIE.Kill him

It was instinct.

Aim for the eyes

Blood splattered across the pavement.

Knives twitched in his hand.

The villain was screaming at him.

In pain.

In anger.

In fear.

You deserve it

"DON'T WORRY YOUNG MAN, I AM HERE"

It was All Might. The Symbol of Peace. A Hero.

Hero's capture villains. What are you?

Izuku ran.

Looking back, that probably hasn't been the smartest choice. It probably made him more suspicious. Oh well, nothing he could do now.

At this point he had completely ditched any thought of going to school. He needed time to cool down and reorganize his thoughts. Sitting in a classroom with a generally apathetic teacher and a bunch of noisy brats wouldn't do him any good.

Izuku sighed, the villain attack had brought up some less than pleasant memories, and All

Might's appearance hadn't exactly been welcome. The hero didn't deserve to brushed off, he was one of the few hero's that Izuku actually respected. The reaction had been

...instinctive. A response that had been drilled into him from a young age. A response that he hated.

After all, only villains flee from heros

RigHt

Izuka sighed again. Today was not his day.

All Might was confused.

That rarely happened.

Toshinori had been confused many times.

But rarely ever All Might.

All Might got through everything with a smile, never a hint of doubt in his countenance. All Might was well, All Might. People flocked towards to him, for autographs, for photos, for protection. Hardly ever did they run away from him.

Unless they were villains

But that was ridiculous, the boy looked only about 12 years old. Someone so young couldn't possibly be involved in any crime.

Right?

Sleep. It was the bane of Izuku's existence. It was a time for his fears to come crawling from the corners of his mind and sink into his dreams.

Today's event hadn't exactly helped either.

Slowly, Izuka unwinded himself from his covers, and crept into the kitchen. The creeping was unnecessary, he was the only one who lived here. But the habit had been ingrained far to deep for him to let go.

In his quaint little kitchen he made himself some hot chocolate. For probably the third time, he sighed. Things just never seem to go his way.

Toshinori never thought he would see that boy again.

Until, of course, he did.

It was during his morning jog, he had been going down his usual route when his non existent stomach started acting up. Soon enough, he had abandoned any notion of running and was rolling on the now blood-splattered pavement.

"Hey, are you alright?"

Toshinori looked up to see a boy. Not just any boy, but the same one who ran away from him the day before.

"N-No, I'm fine"

The boy raised his eyebrows, unimpressed.

"Really?"

Toshinori could feel the sarcasm dripping of that statement.

The kid exhaled exasperatedly, and began to hoist Toshinori up, leaning most of Toshinori's weight onto himself.

"A-Ah thanks but I'm completely fin-"

Blood erupted from his mouth.

The green haired boy clicked his tongue in annoyance, before grabbing a packet of tissues to wipe of the blood.

"Where do you live?"

"Y-You d-don't need to d-do that, I'm-"

"Where do you live"

Toshinori sighed in defeat, before shakely pointing to a house across the street.

"The one r-right next to the s-stor-"

Que another eruption of blood.

The boy gave him a worried look.

"We better get going"

Finding a skeleton-like man rolling on the pavement in his own blood was definitely how Izuku imagined his morning to start of.

Helping the man was only natural, despite the person in question's reluctance. Soon enough, he had managed to get the man settled into his own house, laying him down on a nearby couch.

The house was spacious enough for one person but was homely in its own way. It seemed like the ideal place to come home to after a hard day at work.

"Do you have any medication"

"A-Ah it's f-fine"

Izuku gave him the look.

The man sweat dropped.

"I-In the pantry"

Izuku took out the medicine and put it within the skeleton man's reach. He took the hint and nodded appreciatively.

"Soo...what's your name?"

The man blinked in surprise. Probably realising he hadn't introduced himself yet.

"Toshinori Yagi, and you are…"

"Midoriya Izuku"

An awkward silence fell between them, before Toshinori gave a cough.

"Ahem, I must say thank you young man, for your help"

" 's no problem"

Midoriya rose from where he was sitting.

"I guess I'll see you...around?"

"Of course"
