Have you ever had someone in your life so special you were just drawn to them? Have you ever had someone in your life that you physically needed? Has there ever been someone who just felt so right for you that you can't imagine living without them?
That is how I feel about Shawn. Many people just see him as the funny guy, the player, but I know he isn't playing me. What we have is real. I know that he truly loves me, and I truly love him.
Even though he took forever to ask me out, that is okay. I wish we could have skipped the failed relationships and gone right to each other, but then I wouldn't have known how truly special we are together. Even better than Scott Seaver, who I once thought was my soulmate. I was young then.
One way or another, I will love Shawn forever.
