Spring's POV

After I was settled in the Artemis Cabin, Chiron called for a counselor meeting. I knew something about the room was weird. First of all the table was a ping pong table (minus net), then the meeting room was in the Rec. Room. After everyone got settled and Conner and Travis stopped banging their heads on the table, the meeting began. Chiron began the meeting by telling us that the Olympians had sided on two teams, Hades' and Demeter's. Apparently Demeter is mad that Hades kidnapped her daughter and she thinks that he stole the ring that Demeter was going to give to Persephone. So? They're fighting over some stupid ring, I thought. But Chiron said a ring given to Persephone holds her power and symbolizes her true form. So, they're fighting for something more than a ring. I re-thought. What really surprised me was what Chiron said at the end, "I would like Spring to lead this quest to find the missing ring." I was like, "Um, okay." But inside of me I was like Woo-Hoo! ! Chiron said, "Go to the oracle." So I went to Rachel's room in the Big House. I took a deep breath and asked, "How do I find the missing ring?" Rachel's eyes began to glow and she said the oracle inside her said,

"The forge, dove, sun, brain, sea, and dark.
Your ride will come with a bark.
When you reach the art.
The traitor shall crush your heart."

Rachel yawned and fell asleep. I was not going to tell everyone only, the first line. Because I don't want the "traitor" come on this quest to "crush" my "heart".
