Cheren had been in Unova his whole life, while his best friend Touya moved in the same year as Bianca. He had his name changed from Touya to Hilbert, and was Touko's cousin. "Well what are we waiting for, let's go!" said Touko. They raced each other to Professor Juniper's lab. Cheren got there first, while Bianca came in last. Then they went in. "Well if it isn't you 4!" chuckled Professor Juniper. "Well come in and choose a starter pokemon." Cheren picked Tepig. Touya picked the same. Bianca picked Snivy. So Touko picked Oshawott. "Let's do it!" yelled Touko. And they were on their way to Route 1, their journey just starting.
