Dani's POV
I woke up to sunlight beaming in my window-wait window. I quickly shot out of the bed I was in and looked around. Last night's events slowly made their way back into my mind. I slowly went downstairs and saw Danny on the couch watching cartoons.
"Morning." Danny said.
"Morning Daddy." I said.
"I'm going over to Sam's later do you want to come with me?" He asked.
I shook my head yes.
"Good." He said.
I sat by him and was laughing at the cartoon. Then I saw Jazz come downstairs.
"Morning Jazz." He said.
"Morning Auntie!" I said.
"Morning Danny, Ellie." She said.
"Ellie?" I asked.
"Oh I gave you a nickname so we wouldn't get confused." She said.
"I guess it's better than being called Danielle." I said.
"Want to join us in watching the cartoon?" He asked.
She came over, sat on the chair, and watched TV with us. Then we heard footsteps coming downstairs. All of us looked over and saw Maddie and Jack come down, or as I like to called them Grandma and Grandpa. I did want to stay here and since everyone wanted me to stay, I was planning on it.
"Looks like you kids are up early. Who wants breakfast?" Maddie said.
"I do!" We all said.
We all got up and went into the kitchen. Danny went to the cabinet and grabbed a box of cereal. I looked at the box of cereal and saw it was Froot Loops.
"You cannot be serious right now? You actually eat Froot Loops?" I said while laughing.
"Oh ha ha laugh all you want Ellie. Yes I eat the cereal I call my archrival." Danny said annoyed.
We were done with our food and I put my dishes in the sink.
"Ellie I'm going over Sam's later. Want me to take you over there so you can meet her?" Danny asked.
"I already met her, but sure." I said.
"You need some clean clothes and a shower." I heard Jazz say.
I smelled my clothes and then made a face of disgust.
"Yea you're right." I said.
I went upstairs and into my new room. I looked in the drawers and surprisingly saw new clothes for me. They all looked about my size. I grabbed a black short sleeve shirt and grey pants. I grabbed a few other items that I needed and headed to the bathroom. I got in and took my dirty clothes off. I took my hair tie out and saw my long black hair once again. It was full of dirt and oils. I turned the water on to the appropriate temperature in the shower then went in. I rinsed my hair out then shampooed. It felt nice to wash my hair after like 2 months. I rinsed the hair and got the shampoo out. Then I used soap and cleaned myself. All of the dirt came off and it felt good. I never thought I would say this but I was happy to take a shower. After I was done, I turned off the shower, dried off, and got dressed in my new clean clothes. It felt good to be in fresh clothes. I looked at the clock in the bathroom and saw I was in there for about a half hour. I looked at myself in the mirror and decided not to put my hair tie in. I threw my dirty clothes in the hamper and went to my room. I looked around and tried to find a headband somewhere. I looked at the dresser and saw a black and white headband with DP on it.
"Really?" I asked laughing.
I put it in my hair and went downstairs. Everyone stared at me when I came back down.
"Oh you look so cute in that headband! I told you it was a good idea to buy it!" I heard Jazz squeal.
"Could you keep it down? Sensitive hearing here." I said while covering my ears.
"Oh sorry." Jazz said in a quieter tone.
"Ellie you ready to go over to Sam's?" I heard Danny ask while coming from the kitchen.
I shook my head.
"Do you want to go the short way or the fun way?" Danny asked with a smirk.
"What's the fun way?" I asked.
"I'm glad you asked." He said with a smirk.
"Should I be scared?" I whispered to Jazz.
"Well let's race over there. Winner gets to buy the loser ice cream." He said.
"But…I don't have money…" I said.
"Not my problem. Ready. Set. Go!" He said while turning into Phantom and flying off.
"Cheater!" I said while turning into my ghost half.
I turned intangible and flew as fast as I could to catch up with Danny. The sad part was is that I don't know where Sam lived.
"Danny get back here I don't know where Sam lives!" I screamed.
He quickly flew back.
"Whoops sorry." He said with a grin.
I followed behind Danny and saw where he was going. We finally got to Sam's house.
"Whoa that is Sam's house?" I asked shocked.
It was huge…
"Yea. Did I mention her family is rich?" He asked.
"Um…no…" I said.
"Well she is. Now let's go back to our human halves so we don't freak her parents out. They're slowly accepting me and slowly respecting Phantom." He explained.
I shook my head and we both turned back. Danny knocked on Sam's house door. About a few minutes later someone appeared at the door.
"Oh Daniel are you here to see Sam?" A woman asked.
"Yes Pamela do you mind?" He asked nicely.
"I can't keep you two apart. She's upstairs if you need anything just call I'll be down here with Jeremy." She said before noticing me, "Daniel who's this little cutie?"
"Um… hi miss I'm Danielle." I said while sticking my hand out.
If Danny could trust her then why don't I right?
"Oh such manners." She said while shaking my hand, "Is this your cousin?"
Oh, this would be a long day…
"Actually that's something I need to talk to Sam about." He said while leading me in the house.
"Hm?" She asked.
We just bolted upstairs before she could ask any more questions. Danny led me to Sam's room and we saw Sam in her normal clothes reading a book. She looked up at us, put her bookmark in her book, and sat it down on the table.
"Hey Danny." Sam said with a happy voice.
"Hi Sammy." He said happily.
"Um hi Sam." I said shyly.
"Danielle?" She asked shockingly.
"Yea… could we talk for a minute?" He asked.
She just shook her head.
"Sam this is Danielle…Our daughter." He said.
I looked over at Sam and she passed out.
And that's it for this chapter! I'm sorry for not updating in so long… I completely forgot about this story… XD I'll try to update this more since I actually have a feeling I know where this'll go. I know I said that on a bunch of other things but I'll try. And seeing that I got the rest of this done in a half hour... XD
