"Who are these Potters, Hecate?" asked Poseidon.
"They are great friends of mine, they would understand that Percy was a demigod and they would keep him safe. He could be called Percy Potter and Zeus would not suspect a thing." answered a grinning Hecate.
" Fine, take him there before I change my mind." Poseidon said looking away.

Hecate lay a little bundle on the Potter's steps with a letter that said,
Dear James and Lily,
Could you please take this child under your wing? His name is Percy. Percy's mother is dead and his godly parent can not care for him. I have given him the gift of magic so he should fit in with your 'special' family. Please take good care of him.
