In other news - reports are reaching us that the award winning actress and A-list beauty Evangeline Bennett has got engaged to her boyfriend of 2 years, movie director Crispin Bingley.

Evangeline debuted an Emerald sparkler when she attended a Jane Cortese concert in New York last night. The actress was supporting her best friend Jane ahead of the release of her debut album 'Prejudice'. Evangeline was pictured relaxing with friends as she takes a break from filming her upcoming movie 'Penance'.

A representative for the starlet hasn't been available to comment, however onlookers reported Evangeline and friends spent the whole night partying in a private area and they appeared to be celebrating.

Evangeline and Crispin met on the set of the 2013 award winning movie 'Honest Times' and although the couple have never openly admitted they are dating, they have been spotted in recent month's house hunting in Australia and vacationing together in Malaysia.

If reports are true then this will be a significant upturn in events for the notoriously private actress, who in recent years has suffered the devastating loss of her father, esteemed scriptwriter Carlyle Bennett, who sadly died of a heart attack last April. Evangeline's manager Carlie Lucas also died last year in a horrific car accident whilst she was on holiday in Croatia.

Evangeline has had a troubled romantic history, with the public breakdown of her relationship to Fitzwilliam Darcy five years ago. Hopefully Evangeline and Crispin's union will be a happy one and we hope to bring you more of the story very soon.
