As I look at the chaos I see women running with children, men fighting guards, children being beaten, and flames raging. I suddenly understand... this isn't just a fight. This is a revolution.
"Don't just stand there, fight!" The girl yells at me. I snap out of my daze and charge at a random guard. I stab at him as hard as I can. He doesn't expect it and the attack goes through. "You. Bastard" I watch as he falls to the ground. Dead.
'I can't just stand here, I have to fight' The next few minutes are a blur. I remember a lot of death. Then I am on the ground, with a spear at my neck. "You have killed a lot of people." I hear the guard say. "You have as well." I reply. I feel him put more pressure on the spear. 'This guy is gonna kill me if I don't do something.' I look up just in time to be knocked out by a flying... bucket?
"Mykael Toryk, welcome to my realm." I hear a voice. "Who are you?" I look around. "And where am I?" I am very confused at this point. "You are in the realm of the Kitsune." That sounds weird. "Why am I here and how do you know who I am?" I notice a giant fox looking at me. "Simple, I know who everyone is. I am a being that exists yet doesn't exist. I am everywhere and nowhere. I guess you could call me one of the most important gods." 'A god?!' "Yes a god Mykael." "That doesn't explain why I am here, also you can hear my thoughts?" "Did you not hear me? I am a god. This is my realm." 'That makes sense, but why am I here?' "You were about to die, so I brought you here to give you a power. This power is called Creature Magic. It allows you to take on the traits of any creature. It is basically takeover magic however, you gain much more power. If you took on the traits of a Kitsune, you could use Fox Fire, create illusions, and much more." 'Sounds awesome. So I can use the traits of a cheetah and become really fast?' "It would be your speed and the cheetah's speed combined." 'Even better. So now that we got that out of the way... Can I go escape?"
