Eventually the dull drone of the ageing Sensei was drowned out by the ring of the school bell, usually this signalled the change of classes, however, this one was proudly declaring the beginning of the student's dinner hour.
Michiyo sprung to her feet quickly as a flash and set off towards her sluggish twins desk with an energetic hop in her eager steps, once she reached him she became immediately impatient with Shiki as he decided to take his leisurely time getting out of his dark varnished cherry wood chair.
"Come ooonnn, slow poke! I want to see Taka-ni-kun and Ryu-nii-kun~"
Shiki sighed in exasperation, rolling his broad shoulders to ease the slight stiffness of his muscles. "You'll see them after school anyway," He broke off as he released a yawn and stretched out. "I don't see the rush..."
She pouted at him childishly, grabbed his arm and began attempting to tug him out of his seat. "I don't care, move already!"
Feeling a tap on her shoulder caused Michiyo to turn her head towards the offender whilst keeping a secure hold on her brother's arm, behind her stood a male and female, both had invitingly polite smiles upon their fair faces.
The male arched his back slightly in a respectful bow of introduction. "It's a pleasure to meet both of you, my name is Tyuski Kadashi; class president." He then motioned towards the girl beside him. "And this would be the vice president; Hidiki Ichigo."
The girl gave a small bow, shooting them both a gleaming smile. "We hope you settle in well and if either of you ever have any problems or worries, you can always come talk to one of us!"
Shiki slowly blinked his ice grey eyes at them before grunting in reply and stood up, swapping the hold his twin had on him and tugged her out of the room instead. Michiyo gave the two a casual shrug as she was lead through the classroom and out the door.
"Ne~ Shi-ni-kun?" Shiki cocked his head, letting her know he was listening. "Do you even know where you're going?~"
Shiki stops abruptly, scanning the area around him. When he'd come into the overly extravagant school this evening he honestly wasn't paying attention, and seeing as his eldest brother and his twin had already been to the school a few days prior to receive all of their necessary school items, schedules, uniform and a customary tour, nobody had shown them around upon their arrival.
"Enlighten me..."
Michiyo allowed a teasing snicker to pass her lips. "This way dunce~"
"Oi, don't call me that! You know damn well I'm smarter than you..." Shiki frowned before ending his sentence with a cocky smirk.
Michiyo let loose a fake laugh, giving her twin a look of amusement. "Academically maybe, but I run rings around you when dealing with people."
He passed a look of bemusement to her. "Manipulating people more like, deceiving minx."
Michiyo shrugged. "To each their own, dear brother.~" Michiyo pulled them through a hallway and up a set of stairs. "Ryu-ni-kun said to meet up on the roof for lunch, apparently not many of the students ever go up there."
"How come?" Shiki's smirk turned menacing. "Mortals scared of the dark? Or maybe it's the height..."
Michiyo tapped her chin, humming in thought. "I doubt it, they probably just can't be bothered to drag themselves up all these stairs." She then pushed open the dark wooden door revealing the wide open space of the gravelled roof, the edges boarded off by a gothic black metal fence, a few flower beds were scattered around the area to spruce the place up.
An ecstatic grin plastered itself upon her face as she spotted her two elder brothers sat upon a flowerbed wall, casually chatting to one another as they waited for the twins to show up; Michiyo immediately let go of her twin and practically flash stepped beside the aforementioned siblings, she eagerly wrapped the closest brother in a tight hug. "Ryu-Nii-Kun! I missed you so much, you left me all alone with that slug of a twin!"
Shiki just sighed as he made his way over and slumped onto the floor beside their other brother's legs, back pressed against the wall. "...You know I can hear you, right?"
Michiyo let go of the eldest brother, turned to her twin and childishly pulled a face at him as she placed her pale hands upon her hips and arched her back slightly. "I'm talking about you, not to you."
"Nfufu~"
The Ikkiru siblings heads snapped to attention upon hearing the chuckle, their gazes were met with seven others; six males and one petite blonde female, who looked incredibly out of place and timid.
Midnight blue eyes narrowed as the second eldest of the Ikkiru's sniffed the air, wrinkling his nose in disgust and bore his pearly whites in an agitated snarl. "Vampire scum."
A black haired male scoffed, pushing his glasses back upon his face. "Demon spawn."
"Now, now children, behave." Flicking his brunette hair out of his eyes, the eldest Ikkiru stood up and made his way towards the stern character. "There's no need for hate here, it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance." He offered his hand, but the red-eyed teen just looked at it with disinterest.
Michiyo couldn't help but frown at this, she hated seeing her brothers disrespected by others but she knew starting an actual fight right now was beyond stupid, so instead, she strolled up beside her eldest brother and plastered a sweet smile upon her porcelain face. "That wasn't very nice, Ryu-Nii-Kun was just trying to be friendly~"
"I don't plan to sully my hands by touching the likes of you and your species."
Silver eyes widened in disbelief at the openly blunt show of disrespect, then Michiyo started to laugh with mirth. "That's rich coming from the likes of you, Sakamaki."
"Nfufu~ So you know who we are then?" A floppy haired redhead asked as he tipped his black fedora in greeting, voice laced with a naturally seductive and playful air.
The brunette casually pushed his youngest sibling and only sister behind him, not fully trusting the fur hooded boy, splashed a friendly smile on nonetheless. "Well of course, do you really think that we'd come here without knowing what laid within our midst."
The Sakamaki's frowned at this, not liking the thought of these siblings possibly knowing more than they should.
The eldest son walked back towards his younger brothers, slipping an arm around Michiyo's shoulders to make sure she followed. "Anyway, I believe introductions are in order!" Spinning around, he brought his sister into his side with a brotherly embrace. "I am the eldest, of course. Ikkiru Ryuji, Ryu is fine, though. Pleasure for you all to meet me, I'm sure.~" Michiyo snickered at this and Ryu flicked her forehead.
Then with a flamboyant flick of the wrist Ryu pointed towards the boy who had first spoken to the vampire's, his skin was slightly darker than the others -which showed that he at least spent a little while in the sun- his midnight blue eyes still glared dangerously towards the Sakamaki brothers, and his short brown hair looked as though it had never even seen a comb. "And that charmer is the second eldest; Ikkiru Takashi." They were met with a vicious snarl. "...I suggest stirring clear of my charming brother right now."
Waving towards the male twin who was still sat on the floor, Ryu continued his introductions. "And the boy dirtying his uniform over there is a part of a matching set," he then squeezed his sister slightly whilst nodding at her. "This being the other half~" He nuzzled her, which made Michiyo complain to which he just laughed. "Floor boy's called Ikkiru Shiki, and our darling Imoto* is called Ikkiru Michiyo.~"
Shiki merely cocked an eyebrow at the vampire's, while Michiyo sent them a teasing smile. "Ne, Aniki-Kun* do you think I can guess their name's? After all, we did do all that research on them."
Ryuji smirked. "Guess? How about a quick character analysis, Mother taught you everything you need to know."
Michiyo slinked out from under her brothers hold, humming in thought as she wandered towards the vampire brothers, silver eyes scanning each of their forms.
The spectacle wearing teen scoffed. "I don't have time for this-"
"You're Sakamaki Reiji, the second eldest." Michiyo's eyes shined in satisfaction at the furious look she received for interrupting him.
"How dare you speak over me, your manners are deplorab-" Michiyo held up a finger to silence him and shot him a sickly sweet smile.
"I wasn't done." Reiji bit back a retort as she continued. "You're the younger son of Bellatrix, Lord Karl Heinz second wife. There's not much to say about your actual character as you followed every rule you've ever been told too, tried to be the perfect son." Michiyo smirked as she glanced towards a seemingly sleeping blonde. "Yet you were always overlooked. Basically, you're boring.~" Michiyo waved her painted nails in dismissal as she moved along, leaving behind a boy who was barely roping in his anger.
"Blondie is the eldest; Sakamaki Shu, the only other son of Bellatrix, the wife that actually got the job gone when the first couldn't.~" Shu peaked an eye open to catch sight of the wavy black locks of the demon girl as she passed him. "There's not much to say about you either, you gave up on everything whilst you were still young, probably due to all the pressure your Mother put on you." Michiyo shot a glance back at Shu, silver eyes locked with sapphire. "Or maybe some sort of trauma..."
Michiyo then stopped beside the male who looked like he got dressed in the dark, tilting her head as she took in his full messy appearance before giving him a crooked smile. "Cute.~" He grinned and cockily ran his fingers through his short, spikey red hair. "You've got to be Sakamaki Ayato, after all, nobody else chooses to dress like that.~"
Ayato immediately frowned as the Ikkiru siblings sniggered at him, even his own triplet joined in, to which he glared at. "Oi, nobody insults Ore-sama! You'll learn to respect your master, Melon."
"Melon?" Michiyo took a quick look down at her chest, not really seeing a reason for the name but decided to take it as a compliment anyway. "Thanks~ Anyway, you're classed as the eldest of Cordelia's triplets. A huge superiority complex due to the way your jealous mother raised you, a shame really."
She immediately moved on and a bright smile graced her face as she looked upon the shortest of the brother's, violet eyes glared at her in disgust as she raised a hand, brushing a slender finger gently across his pale cheek. The delicate act shocked the purple haired gothic lolita, though his thoughts were slammed back into his head as the more aggressive of the Ikkiru siblings growled in warning towards his sister's actions, she merely sent him a passive look before turning her silver gaze back to the child-like boy. "And this little cutie must be Sakamaki Kanato, the middle child so to speak. Typical of most middle children, you lack the attention you so crave and would be the most prone to act out if you don't get it. Poor thing~"
Michiyo glanced towards the next in line and was met with the predatory hunter green gaze of the fedora-wearing triplet, an amused smirk was curled upon his lips. "Well you're super easy," a mockery smirk placed itself upon her own lips. "Literally.~"
The redhead chuckled and beckoned her over, Michiyo cocked her brow. "I'd rather stay at arm's length, sweetie~"
"Oh? Scared little Demon-Chan?~" He moved towards her, but before he could get much closer, her twin appeared in front of him within a whisp of a black shroud. The green orbed male stopped short, a pout like frown appearing on his face.
Shiki didn't say anything but he did step back so that he now stood alongside his twin, Michiyo giggled at his protectiveness and couldn't help but tease him. "That's the quickest you've moved in weeks.~"
"Whatever idiot... I just didn't want any more vampire germs getting onto you, it's bad enough you touched that..thing..." Shiki's cold grey eyes burned into the hatred of the dark circled violets.
"Whatever, let me finish sourpuss." Michiyo turned her gaze back to the fur hooded teen. "You're the youngest triplet, Sakamaki Laito. You actually got some attention from dear Cordelia, as vile as it may have been." A momentary flash of emotion went through Laito's eyes before he covered it with a flirtatious smirk, but Michiyo had caught it. "You're Father wasn't too pleased about that, was he? Rumor has it he locked you up in the dungeons, some even said he beat you to near death.~ A scandal like that couldn't be kept under raps for long, Hun."
Laito's face fell from is fake passiveness, a new heavy aura laid around him. The black haired vixen grinned in satisfaction. "There he is~ The real Laito-Kun's come out to play!"
Michiyo shifted her sharp silver gaze towards the last male member of the group. "Sakamaki Subaru, the youngest of the family and son of the third wife; Christa. You're most likely insecure about yourself, but you hide it under bursts of rage; not very healthy if you ask me." Michiyo gave him a hard stare as he began to shout in anger. "Then again with a past like yours I'm surprised you're still alive, lesser men would have ended it by now~"
Red eyes blazed in fury behind white bangs. "What do you know?! Demon scum!"
Rolling her silver orbs and huffing lightly she answered him in an airy manner. "I don't see why you're getting angry, that was technically a compliment.~"
Shiki ran his eyes over the group in front of him, stopping on the short blonde. "...What about the girl?"
"Hmmm?" Michiyo gave the girl a once over, not looking very impressed. "She's just a human, not of any importance. Just a blood bag." At this, the petite girl seemed to shrink in on herself causing Michiyo to scoff. "She won't even stand up for herself.~"
A/N: Well that just a quick update to keep you guys happy, thanks for following~
Michiyo is a bit of a bitch, huh? Yeah, she's not exactly supposed to be completely likeable, she's actually quite two-faced, someone who would shamelessly throw you under the bus, and I can't stress enough how manipulative she is. However everything has a reason, stick around to find out.
