A/N: I have come to the conclusion that I am a horrible person for never updating, so I apologize. Thanks so much for the people who reviewed even after I've gone so long with no updates. Hopefully I'll set aside more time for writing, but I'm busy as crap right now with extracurriculars, so unfortunately I can't promise anything. After all this time I'm afraid this chapter doesn't have a ton of action, but Chapter 3 is coming along so you won't have to wait too long for more story. And HUGE shoutout to readers who favorited or followed!

Chapter 2
Perseus Jackson. The Hero of Olympus and the guy everyone in the world was looking for. And here he was, just chilling in a bed in the Wolf House this whole time. There were still a million unanswered questions, like how he got there, who put him in an enchanted sleep, and what this meant for their quest, but Jason really didn't have time to do anything besides pulling Piper up and backing to the doorway of the room.
"Thalia, I'm glad you found Percy and all, but Khione is in the courtyard with Leo right now so we have to go."
As Jason peeked past the doorframe, his spirits plummeted even further. Not only was Leo fighting with Khione, the deadly ice princess herself, but wolves and venti that looked all too happy to tear the son of Hephaestus apart also surrounded him from all sides. Leo seemed to be holding his own by using his powers of fire to counteract any blows of ice from Khione, but she wasn't the only danger out there. It seemed as if the wolves and venti were hesitant to get in the middle of the elemental battle happening in front of them, and Jason didn't blame them. Ice chips and stray sparks flew around the two and kept anyone from interfering. It looked like Leo was holding his own, and Jason knew he could trust him to handle a duel for a few more minutes. Luckily it seemed none of Khione's idle minions had noticed Jason or Piper's absence from Leo at Hera's cage, but they had little time to make a plan before that changed.
Glancing back, he saw that Thalia still had Percy wrapped tight in her arms and didn't look like anything could make her let go anytime soon. The poor guy still looked pretty out of it and seemed to be very confused as to where he was and who was trying to strangle him. Jason couldn't help but feel a tiny bit jealous of how close his sister seemed to be with Percy. He understood that they had known each other for years, but there was a small part of him that felt replaced as the little brother in Thalia's life. It wasn't a thought he was proud of, and he knew he couldn't blame Percy for anything. Heck, even his own life of mystery sounded easier than the whirlwind Percy had been through for the past few years. But as much as his feelings were going all over the place, he knew he had to set all that aside for later. Right now they were in BIG trouble, and he needed to know what resources they had at their disposal.
"Thalia? Umm, I know this is a really bad moment and all, but we need to make a plan right now, cause Leo's all on his own out there with all of Khione's friends."
Thalia pushed herself back a bit at his words, but she was still focused on the boy in front of her.
"Percy, are you okay? Are you hurt at all?" she questioned with care as she slipped to the side to help him sit up. Percy's sea green eyes had a glazed look to them, and his forehead crumpled a bit as if the question was a very difficult one. There didn't seem to be any injuries on his body, but his face was pale and there was a glint of sweat on his forehead. Jason could tell that the Son of the Sea wasn't fully collected after his nap, and he definitely wasn't in any condition to fight alongside the rest of them in battle. And then he thought of the other big problem. When he came to Camp Half-Blood, he had lost all his memories. Now that he knew Hera was the one who had taken him and stolen those memories, it didn't take a stretch of the imagination to see that it was probably the same for Percy. Had Hera already wiped his mind clean while he was asleep? Did he even remember that he was a demigod?
"Percy- well hi, I'm your cousin Jason by the way- but why don't you hang tight in here while we figure out what to do. You're really not looking so good".
Percy could finally look around with Thalia at his side instead of all over him, and his eyes grew with confusion and fear as he took it all in. He opened his mouth as if about to ask a question, but it shut with a snap as his whole body suddenly jolted. Jason jumped back to the door as he felt the same shake from the ground. He peeked around the corner and almost ran under the bed to hide at what he could see. Hera's cage was slowly filling with dirt, but the other cage had gotten much larger, and it wasn't really a cage any more. Something had ripped it open from the inside, and that something was now stepping out from the tendrils.
"So that's what made the ground shake," Jason whispered with equal awe and terror. "Guys," he said looking back at his sister and almost-girlfriend, "we need to go NOW. It looks like Hera wasn't joking around about Porphyrion coming to destroy us."
And that was being optimistic. The giant was huge, even larger than Enceladus, and had the same humanoid torso and dragon legs. His skin was green like his hair, but there were also dozens of weapons woven into his mane like trophies. He had a certain presence about him, as if he was the biggest dude in town, and he knew it. There was a sense of hopelessness in challenging him, and Jason could feel that doubt slowly crawl up his body from his toes. What use would fighting something so big be? There might be a chance if he was surrounded by friends and fellow demigods, but alone? And even though he knew he had his sister and best friends with him, Jason still felt alone when he looked at Porphyrion. Maybe that was his power, his essence alone made anyone fighting him doubt himself or herself so much that they were easier pickings. Well as much as he would rather be anywhere else, Jason knew he didn't have a choice in fighting the giant, so he had to push all the loneliness and doubt away for now.
OK, so how to defeat an unstoppable, immortal son of Gaea? First step, get all the help you can.
"Thalia, Piper, can you guys handle all the minions while I focus on Porphyrion?" he asked with a voice straining to appear confident. It didn't seem to work that well.
"Percy, just lie back for now, we'll be right back" Thalia gently helped the poor guy lie back, and he easily complied. Jason was worried about how his eyes focused blankly on the ceiling instead of closing, but he figured Percy was just trying to organize his thoughts before resting.
"Now what's this about you tackling Porphyrion by yourself, Jason? I know you wouldn't ask Piper and I to handle the minions while you take the big baddy because we're the two girls right? You would have to be insane if you thought I would let you go one on one with that monster while I wait at the side handling the wolf losers." Thalia's eyes were narrowed as she stood up and dared Jason to keep going while drawing her dagger.
He had to think quickly before his sister got over her sentimentality and stabbed him.
"Well… Piper still has to help Leo open Hera's cage, so I figured if she's distracted then you could cover her from the wolves and venti, that's all. I know you could totally handle Porphyrion, but someone has to help Leo and Piper fight everyone else. My plan was to take Khione out quickly with a lightning bolt and then focus on the giant."
Thalia gave one last look to Percy and noted his glazed eyes with concern before nodding and stepping forward to the door. Piper had been peeking out the door as Jason explained himself, and now she turned back and joined the siblings just inside the doorway.
"It's a good plan, but we better get going because Leo looks like he's getting tired."
Jason could agree with the assessment after a quick glance outside. Leo was still locked in his duel and didn't look injured, but his movements were definitely slower than they were a few minutes ago.
"Ok so we all have a plan?" At the girls' nods, Jason nodded himself, took Thalia's offering of a spare dagger, and counted down, "3…2…1…. NOW!"
And they charged.
