Chapter 2: At the Agency

Vector had led Blaze and Silver back to the Chaotix Detective Agency letting them into the HQ. "Don't do anything I wouldn't do, you two. Make yourself at home while I go through my case files."

Silver then hopped onto the sofa looking at a stack of magazines sitting on the coffee table.

Blaze stands in the middle of the room looking around at the contents of the room. "Quite the base of operations you have here, Vector."

Vector looks over his shoulder at the feline. "Well it's also our home too. What better place to work than out of your own home."

"I know the feeling."

Silver stands up as she walks over to the desk. "Anything, Vector?"

The crocodile finds the file and places it down on the desk. He opens it up revealing several photos of missing people. "Over the last two weeks, there have been reports of these people going missing."

"Is there something about them that's connected?"

"As a matter of fact there is. All of these people were reported last seen outside of the Chemical Plant."

Blaze checks up on the dates for each person. "Whoever is doing this is obviously smart enough not to abduct these civilians at once."

Silver nods. "What could they want with these people?"

Vector scratches his head a bit. "That's the only thing I can't figure out. Unless there's something else going on that this person doesn't want us to know about."

"Covering up a bigger crime by eliminating any witnesses."

Blaze crosses her arms. "Maybe we should survey the area where they disappeared. That way we can get an idea of what happened to them."

Vector then stops her for a moment as he checked his messages. "Hold that thought. I got a voice mail."

The answering machine on Vector's phone started playing a message. "Hey, Vector. It's Vanilla. How have you been? I was just calling to ask if you have seen my daughter recently. She was out playing with a friend the other day near Green Hill and hasn't come home. If you see here, I'd appreciate if you could bring here home. Thank you." The message ends.

Blaze then had a concerned look on her face. "Vector, how far is Green Hill from Chemical Plant?"

Vector gives her a rough guess. "I'd say they're about five miles apart."

Silver looks at Blaze worried. "You don't think that…"

Blaze then darted out the door.

"Blaze, wait!" The hedgehog follows her barely able to keep up.

Vector grabs his files and follows them both keeping up with Silver. "Looks like this just got personal for your majesty here."

"Cream is like a little sister to her. She won't let anything bad happen to her."

Blaze was leaving a trail of flames behind her making her way to Green Hill as fast as possible. "Don't worry, Cream. I'll find you no matter what it takes."
