It was my 16th birthday. It was Sunday so everyone was home. My parents gave me a mp3 player and I immediately upload my favourite songs on it. In the evening my parents ordered pizza because they weren't good cooks. In the middle of the evening the door bell rang. When I opened the door there was nobody there – only a small packet was left on the ground. It had a card on it. '' Happy Birthday Terpsichore!'' That was strange because nobody called me this way probably because it was hard to pronounce it so everyone called me Tess. My foster mother said:
''Stop wondering about the name! Open it!''
She was right. I opened the packet and there was a compass with only one arrow which wasn't pointing south or north. However, it was very beautiful – it was silver and it was shining In the spent the rest of the night talking and watching movies. My foster father, who was a scientist said that the arrow of the compass was pointing New York city.
I spent the following weeks practicing my cheerleader skills. We were going to a completion for cheerleaders in New York so we were very busy. On the day of the competition we had to pack our clothes and catch the bus. We got on the bus at 10 am I arrived at New York at about 1 pm. The competion was planned to start at 7 pm so we had time to have a rest and practice. At the competition we did our dance and we were about to be given the 1st something strange happened. Two geysers exploded from the started screaming and running away from the hot the crowd I saw two men near the were looking around as they were looking for something but surprisingly the boiling water wasn't hurting them.
Suddenly,the twins stared at there were many girls shouting around me I knew they were looking at me so I grabbed my backpack and got away the building…
