This chapter is unnecessary. You really don't need to read it...
Disclaimer: They don't belong to me. If they did, they...would probably still be dead, but we would see countless scenes of them together, just like this one is. ^^
Zabuza pulled Haku closer and sighed contently, his unbandaged face buried in the smaller boy's hair. They stood there for countless minutes, just holding onto each other as tightly as they could.
Slowly he pulled back, leaning down and kissing him sweetly, resting his head against the other's.
"I missed you so much Haku."
"Really? You didn't take very long to come after me, you know. I expected to be alone much longer, really," the feminine boy replied, grinning at him cheekily.
"Don't be silly. Like you could go to Heaven and be alone; you despise being by yourself if you have nobody that you can go to once the loneliness gets to you. I died lying beside you on that bridge."
Haku's eyes widened and he stared up at him – he had assumed that time worked differently there, and that Zabuza had completed the mission and gone on for awhile afterwards. He knew, though, that he couldn't have gone on very much longer, since he didn't look any older; there was also the fact he had slowly come to rely on Haku when finding out the enemy's fighting style.
Slowly, a smile spread across his face, "I never thought that you would become such a romantic, Zabuza. So, bringing up an old discussion, what did you think of when you were dying?"
The larger man chuckled, "You."
"Oh...And whose point did that prove? Because I thought of you as I was dying, so I thought of my precious person..."
"Don't worry; you aren't a mistake to me. The only mistake I thought of was not realising how important you were to me before."
Haku was once again speechless, nuzzling his face into the crook of Zabuza's neck. No matter how he looked at it, Zabuza had just said that Haku was his precious person. Even though it had been clear that he cared about him, he was always more comfortable with the physical side of things; this was probably the easiest way for him to admit to what he had said.
"I love you Zabuza. I really, really do," he whispered, tears streaming down his face.
"I love you too. I only realised it when you died, though. I'm sorry for that," the older man muttered, stroking his hair slowly.
The boy stepped back after a moment, grabbing one of Zabuza's hands in both of his and walking backwards slowly, leading him to a small cottage that had appeared behind them, smiling softly.
"Come on. We don't have to worry like we used to anymore; nobody is going to interrupt and there's nobody after us. For once it can just be us, and we won't have to worry," he said softly, a light blush covering his cheeks, "This is the abandoned cottage that we were staying in when I confessed my feelings to you."
Zabuza smiled, following after him happily. He had made it to Heaven somehow and now he had an eternity to spend with his angel.
Yes! I wrote yet another rubbishy Zabuza-and-Haku-go-to-Heaven-and-have-a-happily-ever-after story.
It's silly, because Heaven probably matches better than this silly little chapter does, but oh well. They weren't written to go together, so they don't in my mind.
But the plot bunny for this came in and wouldn't leave me alone unless it was typed up. And I figured I may as well post it.
Ciao
