Part 2
We walked for what seemed to be forever, until my stomach growled. I laughed nervously, touching my belly as Dratini looked confused.
"Tini?" The Pokémon wanted to know.
"Sorry," I apologized. "My stomach's telling me it's food time." I then heard Dratini's stomach growl. Dratini looked down at it. I smiled.
"Sound's like your stomach is telling you the same thing." Dratini looked at me and smiled.
"Tini!"
"Okay, come on. There should be food somewhere." Dratini and I went to find food.
We then found some trees with delicious looking apples hanging from the branches.
"See?" I told the Dratini. "I told you there would be food. Don't those apples look yummy?"
"Dratini, dratini!" The Pokémon cheered. I smiled and looked at the tree. When I saw an apple that I wanted, I zapped it off with a Thunderbolt. It landed on the ground. I went to it and picked it up.
"Tini, tini!" I then heard. I looked up and saw Dratini near the bark of the tree. The Pokémon rammed into it, obviously wanting some. But, it failed. Dratini then looked at the ground, sad. "Tini." I went by the sad Pokémon.
"Here." I offered. "Let me." I looked at the branch again and did another Thunderbolt, The apple fell to the ground. I picked it up and offered it to Dratini. Dratini looked grateful.
"Tini!" It took the apple in its mouth and began eating it on the ground. I began eating mine as well.
"Tini; tini!" I heard Dratini a few minutes later when I was done with my apple. I looked and saw it ramming its head to the bark again.
"You want another one?" Dratini nodded.
"Dratini, dratini."
"Alright." I looked at the tree again and once again, did my Thunderbolt. I then heard a thump as Dratini slithered to the apple and began eating it.
"Huh?" I questioned out loud. I looked at Dratini. "Did you hear that?" Dratini was too busy eating that he didn't look up. I went to where I heard the sound.
I saw it. It was a fainted Beedrill. I must've electrocuted it while getting Dratini's second apple. I then heard a lot of angry buzzing, looked up, and panicked. There was a horde of Beedrills flying above me, and they all didn't look happy!
"S-sorry about your friend. I didn't mean to; I just was getting an apple for a friend." The Beedrills came closer and closer. I backed up. "Dratini; we should leave."
"Tini?" Dratini must've seen the Pokémon bees for it shrieked. "Tini!"
We both backed up further and further as the Beedrills came closer and closer to us. I then had enough.
"RUN!" I cried and Dratini and I ran as the Beedrills chased us.
We only ran a few feet, until I realized something. Wait a minute; what am I doing? I looked at the Beedrills, determined. I wasn't going to run away; not this time anyways.
"Tini; dratini!" Dratini said to me. I looked at it.
"It's ok." I told it. I looked back at the Beedrills, determined. "I'm not going to let these bugs bug me." I released my Thundershock, then again and again as the Beedrills flew off.
"Ha!" I laughed. "Yeah, you better run Beedrills, for I, Ash Ketchum, have Pika power!" I went to Dratini. "You okay?" Dratini nodded. And with that, we went on our way.
A few trainers wanted to catch Dratini and me. I battled with them, and won every single one.
"I'M NOT A PIKACHU!" I wanted to scream as a whole mob chased Dratini and me, but then, they'd hear me talking, and want me even more. I would want me even more. To have a talking Pokémon, (except for bad Pokémon like Meowth, then again I would teach them to be good) how totally cool would that be? If I had one, I would tell it to translate and then my friends and I would be able to understand other Pokémon.
But if I don't catch a talking Pokémon, I wouldn't care. I'd love them just the same as I do my other Pokémon. I would understand them anyways.
After we lost them, we walked a little further, then we heard a cry.
"Dragonair!" It cried out.
"Dratini, dratini!" Dratini said, excitedly. The little dragon Pokémon sped up and hugged a Dragonair. I went by them.
"Is this your mom?" I questioned. Dratini nodded. I smiled, proud of myself. I love family reunions.
Then, something hovered in the air. Huh? What's that? The two Dragon Pokémon looked at the thing; confusion was also on their faces. Suddenly, a net popped out of the thing, trapping the two dragon types. I gasped as the two struggled to get free.
"Dratini!" I called. "Dragonair!" The thing flew into the air. I watched it, seeing where it was going, I gasped again. It was Team Rocket again in their balloon. Jessie grabbed the flying contraption and put the net down. She looked down at me.
"We haven't forgotten about you, Pikachu." She said. She looked at James who had some sort of remote in his hand. "Now, James!" James nodded.
"Aye aye, Jessie!" He pushed a button and a rubber hand came out from the bottom side of the balloon. It then lunged, heading straight towards me. I jumped out of the way just in time.
"Try again." Jessie told James.
"Righto, Jessie." He tried again. I hopped out of the way again.
"Try again." James tried again and again. And I jumped out of the way each time, Jessie gritted her teeth, having enough of my shenanigans. She snatched the remote out of James's hands.
"Give me that!" She tried several times. I dodged each and every time. Jessie got more frustrated each time.
"Why… are… you…. so difficult to get!?" I was getting tired of dodging and stopped to catch my breath. Fortunately, Jessie was getting tired as well. She didn't give up though. She made the hand stop near me.
"Darn it!" She cursed. "Missed!" I looked at the rubber hand and took my chance and ran up it and onto the arm.
"What do you think you're doing?!" She commanded to know. "Get off, you yellow pest!"
"I'll handle this!" Meowth offered. "You just leave it to me." He hopped on the robo arm and ran towards me, his claws coming out of his paws. "We're going to….get you…Pikachu!" As he talked, he swiped his paws at me. I dodged every time. "Why…are….you….so... difficult?" I smiled and jumped on his head, running towards Jessie and James. I did a Quick Attack, ramming into their faces. They cried out in agony. I grabbed the net and tried to carry it away and hop out of the balloon, only it was too heavy because of the weights of the two Pokémon.
"Shoot!" I cursed, "I did not think this through. I looked at the two Pokémon, who were both looking at me.
"Don't worry." I assured them. "I'll get you free…somehow." I was thinking of how to get them down when James and Jessie recovered. They stood up and looked mad at me. Jessie took the net out of my hand.
"I'll take this." She said. Now what? "Get it, James." James nodded and tried to get me. I jumped out of his way.
"I'll help you, Jimmy-boy." I heard Meowth say. I saw him coming my way with his claws. I did a huge jump and he accidently slashed his claws over James' face. James screamed in pain and Meowth gasped. Ouch; that had to hurt!
"Oh my gosh, Jimmy boy! Are you okay? I'm so sorry! It was an accident; I was just try…"
"Meowth!" Jessie scolded the cat. "He'll live. Now focus at the task at hand here, and get Pikachu!" Meowth nodded.
"Right, sorry, Jessie. I'm on it!" He turned to me again and charged. I was about to jump again, when a rock hit him square in the face! He fainted. Jessie groaned.
"Must I do everything?!" She questioned. She reached towards me. "Here, here, Pikachu. Be a good Pokémon and stay still." I was about to jump out of her reach, when a second rock flew up and hit her in the face. Huh? What is happening here? Where did those rocks come from?
I looked down below and couldn't believe my eyes. It was those same Gravelers from before (at least, I assumed they were).
"Who is throwing rocks?!" Jessie commanded to know when she had recovered. "Hey; don't you Gravelers know it's not nice to throw rocks at people?" A Graveler threw another rock at her. She growled.
"I'll get you Pikachu!" She was too quick for me and grabbed me. I struggled in her grasp. She laughed.
"You're not going to slip away from me this time!" A third rock hit her in the face. She screamed as she dropped me. The dragon Pokémon gasped as I tried to maintain my balance. I couldn't, and I fell towards the ground!
I grabbed the bottom of the net for dear life! I then lost my grip and fell towards the ground. A Hyper Beam shot passed me.
It must've broken the net for the next thing I knew, I landed on Dragonair's back. I looked up and noticed Dratini looking at me, worried. I smiled.
"I'm okay." I told it. Dratini smiled.
"Tini, dratini!" I looked ahead at Dragonair.
"Thanks, Dragonair,"
"Dragonair!" Dragonair flew us to the ground. Dratini and I got off, but I had a question. Where did that Hyper Beam come from? We all looked and saw a Dragonite stomp in. Dragonite roared loudly.
"DRAGONITE!" It yelled out.
"Tini, dratini!" The little Dratini slithered as fast as he could and went near the Dragonite. The Dragonite bent down and embraced it in a hug. Dragonair slithered next to them and smiled. I smiled as well. This must be Dratini's dad or something. Dratini withdrew from Dragonite and went to me.
"Dratini, dratini!" The Dragonite looked at me.
"Oh, no. It was my pleasure." I told it. The Dragonite was confused that I was talking.
"Hey!" Jessie shouted. We all looked at her. "Hate to break the happy reunion here, but you all need to come with us. Dragonite, you come to!"
"Dragonite!" Draonite roared at her.
"DON'T YOU RAISE YOUR VOICE AT ME; I RAISE MY VOICE AT YOU, YOU HEAR ME!?" Dranonite was about to fly up at them when I approached him. Dragonite looked at me.
"Hey, Dragonite!" I told it. "If you don't mind, I have an idea. Why don't you fly me up to them and, you know, we can do a team attack. You do your thing and I'll do my Thundershock. Sound good?" The Dragonite nodded and prepared for me to get on. I got on, and we flew off, towards the balloon.
"Now!" I shouted at Dragonite as we were closer to the balloon. I jumped and did my Thundershock, as Dragonite did its Dynamic Punch. Team Rocket screamed as the attacks connected and the balloon exploded.
"LOOKS LIKE TEAM ROCKET IS…" Okay, you know, right?
"WOBBUFFET!" The blue Pokémon added as it came out of its Poke Ball. Victreebel also came out and latched itself onto James's head. I landed on Dragonite's back again and we flew back to the ground.
I got off and saw that Dratini and the Graveler were talking in their Pokémon language. Although I couldn't understand what they were saying (which is weird. You'd think that by turning into a Pokémon, you'd understand what they were communicating), they seemed to be having a pleasant conversation.
"Are you and the Graveler making up?" I asked the Dratini. The Dratini looked at me and nodded. I smiled. "That's good." Dratini called out a farewell to the Graveler as they left.
"Well, I should get going." I told the family of dragon Pokémon. The dragons all looked at me.
"Tini? Dratini?" Dratini asked. I didn't know the Pokémon language to understand what it was saying.
"I have to." I told the Pokémon. Dratini slithered to me, crying. I hugged it too. "I'll miss you too, but don't worry; we'll meet again." Dratini withdrew from me.
"Dratini?" It looked puzzled. I shrugged.
"It's possible." Dratini and I hugged again. Dratini withdrew itself and joined its parents. I waved to them.
"Bye! You stay by your parents now, you hear Dratini?"
"Tini, dratini!" I waved and waved until they were out of sight.
I sighed. Now, how am I going to get back? I was about to continue my search, until I heard a voice.
"Ash!" I turned around, Huh? It sounded like, Misty.
"Ash!" This voice sounded like Brock.
"Pikachu!" Pikachu?
"Toge!" I ran towards the voices and smiled. It was Misty, Brock, and Pikachu running my way. Misty was carrying Togepi and Crobat flew above them. I ran towards my friends.
"GUYS!"
"Oh, Ash, I'm glad we found you." Misty said.
"I'm glad you found me too guys." I told them.
"Are you alright, Ash?" Brock asked me. I looked at him.
"I'm okay, Brock. And as we walk, I have a story to tell you guys."
"Okay." Brock said. And as we walked on, I told them my story.
