RWBY: Extermination

Chapter One: Crash Landing

A/N: Well, people, welcome to Chapter One of RWBY: Extermination. Thanks to some of you guys for your reviews. It shows that you people like the story. But, a guest made a review telling me to stop using OCs. I would like to respond. Everyone I have used in this story are canon to Aliens, except for Chris, his parents, and Jessica. Just wanted to say it. Now, onto the story!

Disclaimer: I don't own RWBY or the Alien franchise. Rooster Teeth owns RWBY and Twentieth Century Fox owns the Alien franchise.

Everything outside the viewport of the dropship became shrouded in white for Chris. Eventually, the white disappeared and a planet appeared before him.

The planet appeared to be similar to Earth, except this planets' land masses seemed to cover more of the surface than Earths' land masses.

After Chris spotted the planet, he said "Well, either that wormhole teleported me to an alternate Earth or a new planet, that hopefully has no life."

After traveling closer to the planet, Chris spotted its moon, which seemed to support both of his theories. It appeared relatively similar to Earth's moon, but this one was shattered on one side.

Once Chris passed the moon, red lights began to flash in the cockpit. After Chris looked over the controls, he said frustrated "Damn, that wormhole must have disabled the controls. Hopefully, I can get them fixed before anything happens."

As Chris went to work, the dropship began to enter the planets atmosphere. Chris eyed this and he said, "Now we're entering the atmosphere. Great, just my luck."

It took about a minute to pass through the atmosphere, and Chris wasn't getting far with the controls. He said to himself, "Damnit, I've only been able to fix the braking controls. I guess I get what I get."

As the dropship slowly descended to the surface, Chris put the brakes on the vehicle. When the dropship got close to the surface, it passed by a castle-like structure and descended to a forest nearby.

Right when it was going to touchdown, the dropship passed over a structure. Chris quickly thought to himself 'Hopefully this won't be as bad as Corporal Farro's crash.'

Then, the dropship crashed into the forest. It traveled some distance before finally coming to a stop. The impact had left Chris unconscious, while its passenger was still awake.

Ozpin was currently in his office in Beacon Tower. It was nighttime in Vale and the new first-years, including Ruby Rose, the girl who skipped two years, were set to arrive the next day.

So, he and his fellow professor Glynda Goodwitch were doing paperwork to make sure everything was in order for the next two days. Everything was going normal…

Until a very loud ship passed by Ozpin's office. Ozpin got up from his desk and went to his window to follow the ship. When he got to the window, he saw the ship crash into the Emerald Forest.

So, Ozpin said, "Glynda, did you just see a ship pass by the school?" Glynda responded with, "Yes, but it didn't look like any Bullhead I've seen." Ozpin said, "You're right. But, it could be a prototype."

Ozpin continued with "If it is some type of Bullhead, then someone must be aboard it. Glynda, go check out the crash site. See if you can find anything." Glynda responded with a nod and she left.

The Queen had just felt a great shaking around her. If she could guess, the flying machine just crashed somewhere. Which meant, the Queen could escape. But first, she wanted to kill the host she had chased onto this machine.

The Queen used her powerful senses to detect movement in the machine. After finding none, the Queen assumed the host died when the machine crashed. So, the Queen started to look for a way out.

The Queen knew she could spit acid to escape. But, if the host was not dead, then that would alert it that the Queen was still alive. So, she was searching for a way to open the machine.

She saw the floor below her close when she chased the host onto the machine, so the Queen knew there was a way to open it. After learning how the rising and falling machine worked from watching the female host use it back at her old Hive, the Queen searched the room she was in for a way to open the flying machine.

After pressing a button, the floor below her started to lower. Happy that the way towards escape was opening, the Queen waited until the floor opened. Once it did, the Queen quickly exited the machine.

But, the Queen sensed movement coming from above and quickly moved into the forest that surrounded her. But, instead of running, she waited to see what she was sensing.

Glynda Goodwitch had just taken a Bullhead from Beacon to this other Bullheads crash site. It was hard to find because it was night, but thanks to the lights on the Bullhead, it was easy.

Another reason it would be hard was because the Grimm were more active at night. Eventually, they found the crash site and the Bullhead touched down next to it.

After telling the Bullhead pilot to wait for her, Glynda exited and walked into the crashed ship through the open cargo bay door. She thought 'Well, someone opened that cargo bay door.'

After walking through the cargo bay, she went up a small set of stairs and entered the troop bay/armory. She thought to herself 'And, this dropship is obviously military. It's probably one of Atlas's.'

After looking around for a bit, she spotted a door that had the sign "Cockpit" engraved above it. So, she entered the cockpit and became slightly shocked. What she had found was a teen, no older than 18, was sitting in the pilot's seat… and he wasn't moving.

Glynda quickly moved to the teen and checked his pulse. After finding that his pulse was steady, Glynda assumed that the teen was just knocked out. But, Glynda knew the teen would be safer at Beacon than here.

So, she slung the teen on her shoulder, grabbed the nearest weapon, which Glynda assumed was his, and headed back to the Bullhead. After she got on and the Bullhead took off, she called Ozpin on her scroll.

When he answered, he asked "Yes, Glynda? What did you find?" Glynda responded "Nothing much. Only a teen, which was in the pilots seat. When I found him, he was knocked out. So, I'm bringing him back."

Ozpin replied "Alright, we'll bring him into the Infirmary. Good work, Glynda." She replied "Thank you, Ozpin" and hung up, not knowing of the new and deadly threat hiding in the Emerald Forest.

The Queen was hiding in the trees when she sensed a new flying machine land next to the other flying machine. After a few moments, she sensed a new host exit the craft and enter the other.

The Queen tensed up a little with the appearance of this new host. She thought 'If there are more hosts here, that means more ways to expand my Hive. But, they will most likely want to kill me and my children.'

After a few minutes, the new host exited the machine the Queen arrived in, with the other host in tow, entered the one it arrived in, and left. Once the Queen sensed it was gone, she thought 'Hopefully, they won't come back until I have a few children.'

The Queen now focused on her new goal: to create a new Hive. But, before she could do that, she needed some children to make it. Using her senses, the Queen looked for any potential hosts in her general vicinity.

And what the Queen found made her very pleased. She sensed hundreds of potential hosts around her, way more than how many were at her old Hive. Now, the Queen set out to lay eggs.

Normally, she would have a egg sac to make it easier. But, she didn't have time to create a new one, and she was in a too open area for that. So, the Queen proceeded to lay eggs like how normal animals would.

Granted, it was painful for the Queen to do so, but it helped the Queen build protection until a new Hive was built. After a few grueling minutes, the Queen managed to lay two eggs where she was.

But, judging from where all the hosts were, it would be more effective to lay eggs sporadically to increase the rate of children being born. So, the Queen moved a few hundred meters away from the first eggs she laid a few more. And the Queen continued this cycle for a few hours, until most of her energy was depleted and she hid in a small cave to rest.

Day of Beacon's first-year arrival

Ozpin was currently in Beacon's Infirmary, looking over the teen Glynda had pulled from the wreckage of the unknown dropship. He had just addressed the first-years with a speech that none of them would probably understand and had Glynda finish the address.

Now, he had Glynda run tests on the boy to make sure he was fine. Eventually, Glynda returned and said, "Well, the results came back and he seems to be fine, except for one thing. He doesn't have any aura."

Ozpin replied, "Maybe he just hasn't unlocked it yet." Glynda added, "Well, you're more of a expert on aura than me." Nodding at that, Ozpin walked up to the boy and placed his hands on the boys' chest and shoulder.

Then, Ozpin started to glow gray and eventually, the boy started to glow red. After a minute or two like this, Ozpin and the boy stopped glowing and Ozpin walked back over to Glynda.

Ozpin said, "Well, now that that's over with, he should come to in about a day or two. Now, onto the next question: Where is he from?" Glynda replied, "I don't know. This "USCM" doesn't show up whenever you search it."

Ozpin added, "Well, we can just ask him when he wakes up." Seeming to agree with this, Glynda and Ozpin left the room the boy was in.

The Queen was generally surprised at her new children. Just hours before, she could sense the embryo-layers latching onto hosts. Eventually, she sensed the newborn children burst out of the hosts.

When they burst, she called for them to come to her. And when they did, they looked different than her previous children. When they matured, they still had the black pigment her previous children had, but these new ones had a type of mask over their face.

Even though they didn't use it, the mask helped them look more like a predator. Now, the Queen was looking for a good site for a new Hive. She had her children follow closely behind for protection, but she wasn't finding anything.

Until she found a cave in the side of the nearby cliff. Sensing this was good enough, she went inside along with most of her children, leaving some outside to protect the entrance.

But, with her ultra senses, she sensed a large animal farther in. Eventually, the Queen and her children ran into a giant scorpion, which was using its stinger as a lure.

Sensing the trap, the Queen ordered her children to wait. She then spit acid at the scorpion, which doubled over in pain from the surprise attack. Now sensing her chance, she ordered her children to hold the scorpion down while she laid an egg.

Her children did so effectively, which was surprising considering the size difference between her children and the scorpion. After she laid the egg, the Queen held down the scorpion while she ordered her children to begin the creation of the Hive.

Eventually, the egg hatched and the embryo-layer came out. But, it didn't latch onto the scorpion, as it was looking for a good position to latch on to. It eventually found it, and the embryo-layer latched onto the scorpion.

The Queen then called for her children guarding the entrance to come. When they did, she ordered them to move the scorpion closer to the entrance, and away from the Hive.

While those children did that, the Queen joined the others in the cave and began to create a new egg sac. Noticing this, some of her children came and began to create a new structure to hold the Queen. After a few hours, the new Hive was built.

Day of Initiation

Ozpin and Glynda were on Beacon Cliff. They had just launched the first-years into the forest, and were kind of surprised at how fast some of them were moving through the forest.

It was almost as if the Grimm numbers weren't as high as they were before. Ozpin said, "I wonder where all the Grimm are?" Glynda added "Maybe they just aren't in the same area the first-years are."

Ozpin continued with "Or maybe there are less Grimm than there were before." Glynda replied "But how could there be less? Grimm aren't known to fight each other, and no one entered the forest to kill them."

Before Ozpin could respond, he got a message on his scroll. After looking at it, he said, "Sorry Glynda, but I must leave for a bit. It appears our guest is awake." Ozpin then left for the Infirmary to talk with their guest.

Chris slowly started to wake up. At first, he thought 'Man, that was some crash. I must have hit my head hard if I got knocked out' After waking up a little more, Chris felt how hard he hit his head.

Clutching his head, he said "Damn, that's one hell of a hangover." Surprisingly, the pain went away pretty fast. Chris said "Well, that went away fast."

He then looked around and saw he was in a room. It appeared to be a standard medical room. Chris said, "Either this place is a bad hospital or it's a Infirmary."

Chris looked at what he was wearing and saw he was wearing his clothes he had on during the LV-426 mission. Chris said "Yeah, this place is probably a Infirmary. But, the question is, where am I?"

Then, a voice that Chris never heard before said, "I think I can answer that." Quickly turning towards the voice, Chris saw a man with gray hair, a green scarf, and a black dress jacket and pants standing there.

Chris then asked, "Who the hell are you?" The man replied "I'm Professor Ozpin, the headmaster of Beacon Academy. And you are?" Sensing no threats from Ozpin, Chris held out a hand and said "Sergeant First Class Chris Alder, 2nd Battalion Bravo Team, United States Colonial Marines."

Ozpin shook his Chris's hand and said, "So, that's what 'USCM' stands for. I'm sorry, it's just that I haven't heard of this 'United States Colonial Marines' before." Chris replied "Well, to put it out there, I'm not from around here. In fact, I'm not even from this planet."

Ozpin said, "What do you mean 'not from this planet'? As in, an alien." Chris continued, "Well, I'm a human like you, but I'm just from a different planet."

Ozpin asked, "So, if you're from another planet, then how did you get here?" Chris replied, "I flew here on the UD-4L Cheyenne that is wrecked in a forest. And let me guess, that forest happens to be next to this place."

Ozpin said "Yes, I sent one of my professors to the Emerald Forest to investigate, and she found you in that dropship unconscious." Chris replied, "How did she get in? The dropship's doors should have been closed."

Ozpin added "She said there was a ramp at the bottom that was open when she arrived." On the outside, Chris looked fine. But on the inside, he was angry and scared.

He thought 'What the- Did the Queen get out? If she did, we're fucking screwed. Damnit!' Then, Chris asked, "So, the professor didn't find anything else other than me?"

Ozpin replied, "Yes, she only found you. Why? Was there something else on your dropship?" Chris sighed and said, "Well, I might as well tell you how I got here. It'll explain why I asked if she found anything else."

Chris then went on to explain the events of the mission to LV-426. The landing, the searching of the colony, the massacre at the APP, the last stand at the colony, the brief fight on the Sulaco, and Chris's travel on the Cheyenne to this new planet.

After he was done explaining, Ozpin said, "Judging from your description, these 'Xenomorphs' sound pretty dangerous." Chris replied, "Yes, they are. They wiped out the entire colony and my fellow Marines."

Ozpin added "But, I am sure the Grimm can handle them." Chris replied "Grimm?" Ozpin answered "Grimm are creatures of darkness that just want to destroy humanity. I can explain more about our planet if you like." Chris said "Yeah, I might as well learn about this place since I'm stuck here now."

Ozpin went on to explain about Remnant, the four kingdoms, the various combat schools, including Beacon, the faunus, the White Fang, dust, and hunters and huntresses. After he was done explaining, Chris said, "Wow, this place is kind of like 21st century Earth. But, now that I think about it, you told me about Remnant so you can ask me a question, am I right?"

Ozpin replied, "Yes, my reason was to ask you a question. Do you want to hear it?" Chris answered with "Shoot." Pleased with the answer, Ozpin asked "How would you like to become a student at my school to become a hunter?"

Chris easily responded "Sure, that sounds fun." Surprised at how fast Chris answered, Ozpin replied "That fast? I would have thought it would have taken longer for you to decide."

Chris replied, "Did you really think this would be a hard decision? It's kind of like joining the Corps again, except I have to stay here for four years instead of a few weeks. So, when do I start."

Ozpin answered "Well, tomorrow you will have your initiation, except the other first years are having theirs right now. Once you pass, you will be put onto a team for the rest of your time here."

Chris asked "If my initiation is tomorrow, can I go check out the dropship now, so I can check out how much supplies I still have, like ammunition."

Ozpin replied "Your initiation will take place in the Emerald Forest, like the others. Your dropship crashed a little ways north of your objective for the initiation. You can check it out then."

Then, Chris asked "Also, can I have a few arms lockers for the weapons on the dropship?" Ozpin replied "We have a spare dorm room this year, so you can use it to store your weapons. I'll get it fitted for that purpose later."

Ozpin ended with "You can stay in the Infirmary until your initiation tomorrow. Your armor and rifle will be brought to you later. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have an initiation to get back to."

And then, Ozpin left Chris alone in the room. Chris got back onto the bed and was about to rest his mind suddenly realized something. He said aloud "Wait, did he say dorm rooms, as in co-ed dorm rooms? Damn. Hopefully I get a team with a bunch of boys."

The Queen was pretty tense at the moment. Her children just finished creating her 'throne' in the Hive and the Queen's egg sac was complete. She still had newborns bursting out of hosts and coming to her.

But, that wasn't the reason she was tense. A few hours ago, she sensed a couple dozen hosts pop up in the forest, and they felt similar to the ones she felt a day ago.

She thought 'What happens if they find my eggs? What happens if they run into any newborns in the forest?' The Queen would have sent a few of her children to kill these hosts, but the scorpion from earlier had woken up, since the embryo-layer fell off and the newborn still hadn't come out.

The scorpion hadn't attempted to come where the Queen was located, but was waiting where it currently was. Then, the Queen sensed two of those new hosts come into her new Hive.

She hoped the scorpion would scare them away, and she was relieved when it did chase the hosts away. Now, she could send her children out to leave more eggs in the forest and farther to the entrance to her new Hive.

But, she wanted to wait until these new hosts left the forest, so her children wouldn't be killed. After about a half an hour, she felt the newborn come out of the scorpion, so she called it back.

And the Queen was surprised at how it looked. It looked similar to her other children except this one had a longer tail that was more bladed and had a stinger at the end.

After about ten minutes of the newborn coming to her, she felt the new hosts leaving the forest. Now happy that the forest was safe for her eggs and children, she had her children move eggs out into the forest.

Well people, the xenomorph infestation on Remnant has begun. Hope you guys liked how I made the Queen's dialogue sound. I wanted to make it sound like she still is an animal, but is pretty damn smart. What will happen during Chris's initiation? Which team will he join? What guns will he find on the dropship? As always, leave a review if you want, follow and favorite if you like the story, and PM me to suggest any ideas. That's pretty much it, so see you people next time!
