After the event of Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted, King Julien wants to go on vacation. He said "Man, I was so bored today. I wish I can go to somewhere else!" So he called out Maurice and Mort to come over to his spot and said that they should pack their bags and stuff and then to go on vacation by a airplane. So now, King Julien and his lemur buddies go to an island called Kongo Bongo Island.
King Julien and the Lemurs in: Kongo Bongo Capers
While on top of the trees, Donkey Kong was listening to his iPod which is playing the DK Rap until an airplane crashed into the white mountains of Kongo Bongo. DK wants to see what it is, and it turns out to be King Juilen, Maurice, and Mort. DK and the lemurs teamed up on many adventures, from collecting bananas to riding on animals.
After the day was over, the lemurs waved good bye to Donkey Kong and starts to think "Man, if they ever come back..."
