Hey y'all! It's me! Take two! That last one was a bit shorter than I usually write, so I'm sorry. just so you know, I'm thinking of pairing my OC with either Cullen or Iron Bull, let me know what you think! (BTW She wont be the inquisitor, that honor goes to Levallan. I don't think poor AJ could handle that, do you?) I don't really feel like repeating myself, so for all the usual warnings and disclaimer stuff, go to the previous page. That's all the house keeping stuff! Rate and review! :3

It was warm at first, it felt like I was floating. I slowly opened my eyes. I WAS floating. Everything was green and misty. It felt like a weird dream. I looked around me. Not much to see, unfortunately. If this was the new world, it was pretty boring so far. As I was pondering my situation, I heard a strange sound behind me.
"Well, well, well. Aren't you a sight for sore eyes." I spun around.
Some naked purple lady with REALLY great tits cocked her horned head at me. "We don't often get visiters this far in the fade. Allow me to make you... comfortable." She purred.
I backed up a little and gave her a polite smile, "I'm sorry, I don't swing that way. Not that you're not hott." I added "It's just men offer a little extra, 'ya know?"
She chuckled. "I see... Tell me then, stranger, what is it you desire?"
I sighed dreamily, "Life, liberty, and happiness?"
She chuckled again, "That's not really what you want, is it?"
I shrugged sheepishly.
"I see there is little I can do for you, child." I shivered. The way she said child sounded positively creepy.
She sighed. "And such a waste of a nice vessel. I suppose I should let my pets have you then."
Wait what?
The pleasant, warm feeling was gone and the green mist replaced by darkness. Aw HELL nah! Shrieks sounded in the darkness, followed by scuttling of legs. I did what any sane person would do. I ran.
It's always been a bit disconcerting to run in the dark, but there was no way I could fight what I can't see. And I had the feeling they wouldn't turn the lights on simply because I asked. I would like to say that my training held out and I wasn't winded. But if I'm being honest, that wasn't quite the case. Granted, I lost track of how long I was running, but I was panting hard for the thin air that seemed to refuse to come.
When I felt like I was going to explode. My salvation appeared. A green portal thing! I love the green portal things! They mean I get to a place that ISN'T HERE! Without hesitation, I jumped through.

The second time was not like the first. The mystical green thingy spit me out from REALLY high up. I'm talking twenty-story building high. I am not ashamed to admit I screamed like a little girl at a haunted mansion. Who was being murdered. By Elmo. With a chainsaw. In between thoughts of Oh Shit! and I'm screwed! I had time for one more cognitive thought: Is that a dragon?
Then I hit the ground. And yeah, everything went black. Yahoo... cliches.

When I started to regain my senses, someone was forcing a liquid down my throat. I sat up and spit it out before tackling the offender.
We were in a small tent, and my bowie knife was in my hand (thank God they didn't take it). I looked down at who I had pinned to the floor. I was sitting on some sort of pointy-eared egg. My knife was on his throat and my other hand over his mouth. His hands were raised in a quasi-surrender. Not buying it. Shit's freaky. I bolted for the flap of the tent and ducked around a group of people around a fire only to run into a wall with arms.
"Woah there! Slow down." The giant commanded gentle as I tried to break his grasp on my arms. I looked up at him. He had horns. That can't be good. Think, girl think.
Others were starting to approach. I smiled at the giant and relaxed. He loosened his grip. I twisted out using the weak point where his thumb and fingers met and made for the forest. I heard people calling after me. I ran faster. Not good. It was starting to get dark, I had no idea where I was, and I was being chased. Also, I was hungry, but that wasn't as important.
I've always been pretty good in the wilderness, so I wasn't worried about how I would survive out here if I could avoid being caught. Wait, this is a different world, yeah? So plants and animals might not be healthy. I could die. Oh well, death by wrong plant sounded better that mutilated by a group of horned giants and egg-men.
I am the eggman, They are the egg man
I am the walrus, goo goo goo joob
Shit, focus. Aaaandd... I was trapped. I cornered myself straight into a mountain face as steep as a cliff.
"FUUUUCCCKKK!" I screamed in frustration. I was at least hoping for a bit more time then 'Die as soon as my feet touch the ground.' Screw this shit, I will take a few of those Bogeys with me. As their footsteps neared me, I crouched down. I held my knife and crossed my other arm. Davis said this was my sexiest fighting position. Frankly, I agreed with him. I felt dangerous. I grinned as they surrounded me.
"Who's first, bitches?" I asked.
"Brave, bold, and beating. I will chose my death. Make it mean something. Searching, searing."
I looked at the figure in the floppy hat. "The fuck did you say?!"
He tilted his head up and met my eyes. Christ, he was just a kid. He looked so tired. "There's no reason, to die today. We're friends."
I looked around me. The other freaks were looking at floppy-kid like he was mental. He probably was.
"Are you sure, Cole?" Someone off to the side inquired.
His hat bounced as he nodded. "Curious, cautious, counting...I don't understand. Where, why, when?"
He turned to who I assumed was the leader, "She's just scared."
The leader turned to me. She had pointed ears and a wicked facial tattoo. Hair the color of fire. She looked awesome, I grudgingly admitted to myself. "Cole says we can trust you. He's a bit weird, but I trust his opinion. We're going to put down our weapons now." She said carefully, as one would talk to an animal.
"We are?"
She rolled her eyes, "YES, Bull. Weapons. Down. Now."
Every one eased down various medieval weapons. Never letting their eyes drift from me. I moved my way out from my "danger crouch, " but kept my knife at the ready, my eyes flicking to each person as the sun slipped behind the forest.
"My name is Levellan. This is Cole, Solas, and the Iron Bull. Who are you?"
Screw it. YOLO, right? (AN: I use this ironically, don't hate me.) I put my knife away. I stood tall and put my hands behind my back. I met 'Levallan's' eye. "First Lieutenant Addison Jane Martin of the United States Military." I shifted awkwardly as they studied me. "Most people call me AJ."
The Iron Bull grunted, "Great! Now that we got that out of the way, can we go back and get some chow, Boss?"
"Knock yourself out." They began to walk back to their camp and motioned me to follow. I guess now it was important that I was hungry. Huh, go figure. I walked back a few paces behind them. You know, just enough to let them know I was following without them feeling threatened.
It was shaping up to be an interesting day, I mused. My eyes fell to the backsides of my new companions. Very interesting indeed.
