Few Weeks Earlier…

Waking up very early today feels weird. I'd see her again. I'd see her for the first time in what feels like forever. I walked around to gather everything I need before heading back to the set. I kissed my still sleeping son a goodbye kiss before finally hitting the road. Taylor insisted on driving me to the set but I declined his offer. I just know him very well.

I parked my car in the usual spot I used to park it. I'm a little surprised that no one dared to take my parking spot beside her car. She's here. I can still see her walking inside her trailer.

"HeMo!" I looked at the person tapping my window.

"Di!" I squealed in excitement. I clumsily got out of the car and enveloped the smaller woman whom I've truly missed. "How are you? Jeez, it's been so long!"

"I'm fine. Been busy with recording. How about you stranger?"

"I'm okay. Been busy with Eli."

Dianna gave me a tight lip smile.

"You ready?" she checked.

"Yeah, I'm really excited to be back."

"Are you ready to… see her?" she hesitated to ask.

I cleared my throat and gave her a nervous laugh.

"Yeah, why wouldn't I be?"

She knows that I'm faking it but she shrugged it anyway.

We talked about everything while heading in to see Ryan. We passed the set of McKinley hall that is now so foreign yet the nostalgic feeling lingers.

"Lookie here! Two blondes are back!" Chord shouted in front of us. The rest of the casts are there. Some old, some new. She's not yet here though. I scanned the room as we take our seats around the table. Ryan appeared from nowhere and welcomed us back. The meeting, orientation and distribution of scripts were made. And I saw her. She's sitting beside Amber. I can't read her face though. She didn't give me even a single glance.

"This is nice…" I blurted out while reading the script. I was at Lea's trailer together with Dianna and Chris.

"What's nice?" Chris asked.

"The script, everything is well planned." I answered nonchalantly. I looked at them and they all gave me wary smiles. "What?" I asked them.

"Huh? What?" Dianna asked me back.

"Why are you looking at me like that?"

Lea sighed and sat on Chris lap. She wrapped her hands around his neck and bit her lip.

"She talked to Ryan about it. I heard them talking after the meeting. She didn't take it so well." Lea confessed.

"Oh." I was flabbergasted with the news.

"HeMo, look… we can't blame her okay?" Chris chimed in. "She's… um…" he trailed off.

"Let's just gave her some time. Did you try talking to her?" Dianna said.

"Not yet. I haven't had any opportunity. It's like she's avoiding me."

"Well, you should expect her to do that." Chris sighed.

"What do you mean?" I furrowed my brows and look to Chris.

"Heather, when was the last time you talked to her?"

I was about to answer but stopped when I realized that I couldn't remember when was the last time.

"Exactly." Lea pointed out. "You two did not just fell apart. Both of you lived on different worlds now."

"You were her best friend, HeMo. You know what happened. Don't ask us like you weren't there." Dianna has this enigmatic look on her face.

I sighed trying to collect my thoughts. Going back here didn't just bring back the memories; it also brought back the pain.

"Heather, what's this?" Naya stormed inside my trailer.

"What?" I looked up from the script I'm reading.

She practically threw in my direction an almost crumpled newspaper. I lifted it up to see what Naya was so enraged about.

"'Glee' star Heather Morris pregnant with first child." I read slowly. My jaw dropped and immediately looked up to her. She leaned beside the trailer door – hands crossed, jaw clenched and eyes close to tears.

"Nay, I can explain –"

"Is it true?" she asked, barely above whisper. I couldn't answer.

"IS IT TRUE?" She shouted, I still couldn't find my words. "Jeez, Heather! Just answer me!"

"YES!" I shouted and closed my eyes.

"And I was supposed to be the last one to know?" she said, her gaze on the floor.

"No, no. Of course not!" I stood up and went to her direction.

"Stop!" She said with so much force.

"But –"

"Heather, just stop right there."

"Nay, I can explain. I didn't… we didn't expect that this would happen. It was there and, and… and I was caught up, I guess."

"Caught up? Caught up with what? Caught up with the moment with Taylor?" She said sarcastically.

"Naya, please don't do this… I know you're mad that I didn't tell you personally – "

"Oh, no. Mad? No." She said shaking her head. "I am not mad." She let out a sarcastic laugh." I am infuriated, enraged!"

"Come on! Don't make a big deal out of this." Heather took a step forward.

"Stop!" She shouted, her voice cracked. "I said stop. Don't you dare come near me."

"Naya, please… calm down and let's talk about it."

"We are talking." She snapped.

"But you are like that. We are fighting. I don't like to discuss this with you being so stubborn and –"

"What you said the other day… it was all a lie." She said and looked up. That was the first time I saw her damp face. Her eyes are bloodshot red with tears cascading her face. "You love me… but then you had that with another guy."

"Naya, I love you. Believe me, I do!"

"Just not in the way you love him."

"No! That's not it! I love you more than I love him. This happened before I even realized that –"

"Save it Heather. We're done talking."

"She felt betrayed, HeMo." Dianna brought me out of my thoughts.

"Did she tell you that?"

"No, but we did see it in her eyes. Your last day here is tough for her. She didn't know what to do… just like Santana. She was shrouded with emptiness." Lea said.

"But she had Big Sean during that time." I cut Lea off.

"You know it was different. You just confessed to each other about your feelings." Dianna said firmly.

"Look at what happened to them. Did you hear the news?"

I nodded sadly. He just broke their engagement. Fucking bastard! I couldn't help but feel sorry for him, but I felt more remorseful for myself. I just let go the most precious part of me.

YAY/NAY?

No more?
