Maybe I should let Ino set me up with someone. I walked into a ninja hot spot. All the ninja returning from missions or just ninja who need a break come here, to swap stories and relax.

"Sakura! You're actually out? On a Friday no less? I can't believe it." Ino said coming up to me and giving me a hug. I laughed

"Don't get used to it, cause it's not going to happen again if you make a big deal out of it, pig." I scowled with a smile on my face. "Whatcha drinking?"

"Sex on the beach, want one?" I nodded. Scanning the bar for familiar faces I saw Shikamaru, Choji, Lee, Neji, Tenten, and Hinata all sitting at a table in the back. I smiled and waved. Over at the bar were the older sensei, Guy, Kurenai, Iruka and Kakashi, who smiled under his mask. I looked away quickly and made my way to the back. 'Did he really need to be here?' After I sat down Ino handed me my drink.

"Thanks" I sipped on my drink until one became six. By this time I was good and drunk. Just what I wanted. I was watching my old friends playing and joking around when I realized I was nothing like these people anymore. My life revolved around saving people and that's what I was good at. I wasn't good at being cute and bubbly like Ino or shy and quiet like Hinata. I was boring, but I liked boring, my life fit me. I laughed at Lee hitting on the waitress. He tried so hard.

"Excuse me," I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned to see the handsome Yamato with a drink in his hand. "Can I buy you another one?" He nodded at my near empty cup.

"Sure" I smiled. "Sex on the beach please?" He smiled wickedly

"Whatever you want" I laughed, he was thinking dirty and I didn't smack him through a wall. I was already making progress. He came back and joined the table. We all talked and three drinks later I was ready to leave. "I'll walk you home" Yamato said placing his hand on the small of my back leading me out the door. I looked back but the face I desperately wanted to see was already gone. I hit the fresh air and suddenly felt dizzy. I put my hand on my head to try to steady the spinning. "You okay?" I nodded.

"Just dizzy. I'm alright though" I opened my eyes and we started walking in the direction of my apartment when he stopped. "What are we doing? I live like 3 blocks that way" I said pointing down the road.

"I live here you can spend the night with me." He nodded over my shoulder to the apartments behind me.

"No thanks. That's okay I can make it home." I started walking away.

"Nah, I don't think so sweetie" He grabbed my arm and pulled me into him. His lips found mine and I freaked. I tried pushing him off but he was too strong. 'I'm never drinking again!' I swore to myself. I was struggling with him as he forced his hand up my skirt. I tried to scream but his hand was pressed firmly over my mouth. "Don't fight it baby you know this is what you want" I pleaded with my eyes for him to stop, the tears welled up and he seemed to enjoy the struggle. He forced me back against the side of some building. Biting my neck, his hands fumbled all over my body. I tried to scream again but no use, he jammed two fingers inside of me and smiled. "Nice, a virgin, well you're never going to forget this one." He held me pinned against the wall with his forearm on my throat. I couldn't breathe, but I could hear him unbuckling his belt. 'Oh god' I thought.

"Chidori!" I fell to the ground gasping for breath. When I looked up Kakashi was on top of Yamato beating the hell out of him. I ran over to his and grabbed his arm.

"Kakashi!" I tried to yell but my throat hurt, bad. He looked at me and got up. He ran his hands over my arms and across my back to see if I had any broken bones. "I'm okay" I whispered. Just then a rush of ANBU came into the alley.

"Let's get you home" He gave one more look at the body that was no longer the familiar face I knew but someone I didn't recognize. "You're lucky; I didn't stop until you were dead." With one swift kick his attention was back on me. "That boy you saved yesterday, Sora?" I nodded. "He wasn't Sora at all he was a spy for Akatuski, they were supposed to be watching him at the hospital but he saw Yamato and shifted. We found the real Yamato tied up in the church five minutes ago. I got here as quick as I could. I'm sorry I didn't catch on sooner" He wrapped his arms around me tightly. We walked back to my house in silence. He walked me up to my door.

"Can you stay the night?" I looked at my feet. "Please? I won't be able to sleep" He nodded and followed me in. He took off his shoes and lay on the couch closing his eyes. I went and got him a pillow and blanket. "Good-night" I walked into my room closing the door; I leaned against it and started crying. I was never going to let my guard down again, ever. I fell asleep right where I was.

"Sakura-Chan" I felt him pulling me from my dream. "Shhh, it's going to be okay" He was rocking me back and forth stroking my hair. As I came to I was clutching his shirt and sobbing. "Shh, it was just a night-mare your okay now. I'm here."

"But you're going to leave again" He looked down at me wide eyed. Shocked I would accuse him of such a thing.

"Never. I'm never going to leave you. I'm always going to protect you." He kissed the top of my head and held me tighter. I snuggled closer to his chest, picking me up he walked over to the bed and gently laid me down. I held onto him, not letting him get up. "Sakura-Chan, I'm going to be right in the next room." I shook my head and let my eyes close, I was so tired. "I'll stay for a minute, just until you fall asleep"

The next morning I was sore, there was a thick black and blue mark on my neck. I put on a black turtle neck under my uniform. I walked into the living room and saw Kakashi still on my couch. I watched his chest rise and fall with each even breathe. I was so comfortable around him. I wanted him to stay. The only man I have ever wanted to really keep around I knew wouldn't. I sighed. I knelt next to him and whispered. "Kakashi…" He didn't even bat an eye lash. 'I guess I will just let him sleep.' I walked the five blocks to the hospital with my head down. I watched different shoes as they passed. I didn't care who they belonged to or where they were going. I made it into my office without seeing a single person. I sat down at my desk and started on catching up on my paper work. The phone next to me rang loudly; I picked it up only to be greeted by an even louder voice. "Good morning Lady Hokage, what can I do for you?"

"To start off with you can get into my office. Now!" She hung up in my ear. 'It must be serious' I thought as I put on my lab coat and locked my office door. 'She only yells when it's really important' I walked as fast as I could up to her office, knocked twice swiftly and went in. I bowed to show my respect then waited for the bashing to begin.

"Sakura, You are to go on a two man mission with Kakashi, It's a c-rank just to tweak your skills, what happened last night wouldn't have if you had been on your game and analyzed the situation better" She handed me a folder containing everything I needed to know for the mission.

"Tsunade, I appreciate your concern but I'm okay and I have sworn off the drink so I'll be okay. No need to go on a mission."

"You're going. You need to practice your skills; if you had been on your game you would have noticed in the operating room that he was in fact not Sora. You are an excellent Kunochi, who has failed to keep her skills sharp and almost got killed. You're extremely lucky Kakashi was paying attention" I nodded I knew at least that much was true. "You're leaving tomorrow morning. I'm giving you the rest of the day off. Speak to Kakashi on your way out. He'll explain further." She nodded toward the door. I turned quickly on my heels and walked out.
