Jennifer Garcia is one of the most well know shadow hunters in all of history. When trouble occurs at the institute and she is forced to help a powerful and deadly shadow hunter, she is astounded by what her feelings are telling her. But as Jace only has eyes for Clary Fray will this dangerous man indulge in Jennifer's moment of weakness?

2. Stone Cold

He gripped the tops of my arms roughly, I knew there would be a bruise there later. He dragged me along a musty, black hallway, the walls seemed as though they would fall at any moment. We came to the end of the corridor to a locked door, the dark haired man unlocked the door with one hand and threw me forwards, him coming in behind me. I heard the door slam closed and I jumped.

My hands were tied behind my back, I closed my eyes as I felt his presence behind me. He held my wrists and stoked my arms, to the back of my neck. He pulled my hair away from my ear. I shivered as I felt his breath.

"You will come in use to me." His husky, quietly violent voice spread tremors throughout my body.

I took in a breath.

"The others will know I'm gone."

"That's what I'm counting on."

I gasped in pain as he tightened the bonds around my wrists.

"Valentine-"

He threw me to the wooden floor and I grunted in pain.

I stared up at him maliciously.

"Don't give me that look. I'm going to need you to do somethings for me." Valentine's cold eyes smirked at me.

I sneered at him in reply. "And why the hell would I help you?"

He laughed as he stalked around me still on the floor. He reached the front of me and he crouched down. I narrowed my eyes at him, my brown ones etching with confusion as he reached to stroke my cheek, I reared back and he sighed.

"Because if you don't I will kill your sister Louise."

I breathed in harshly and gritted my teeth in anger, I lifted my leg up from it's position on the floor to kick Valentine but he caught it before I hit him and he twisted my leg in his grasp and I yelled in pain.

Valentine sighed.

"Are you listening now."

I nodded through the painful tears.

"If you don't do as I say I will kill Louise and I will kill Jace Wayland right in front of you."

I hiccuped as he mentioned Jace's name.

Valentine laughed at me and he pulled me closer by my leg and my head hit the ground as I slid closer to his crouched position. I sat up by my elbows and glared at him.

"That's right Jennifer. I've had my tabs on you for a while now, because I have a very special job for you. I need you to kill Clary Fray."
