Plot Summary: A young woman is introduced in the story turns out she is a witch named Lucy Bennett. Lucy arrives to Mystic Falls and Katharine has recruited her. But Lucy realizes another Bennett witch is involved. She betrays Katharine. She then visits the witch house where some of her ancestors were executed there she officially meets her cousin, Bonnie. Lucy decides to help her cousin and aunt. Afterwards she meets the infamous Original Hybrid, Klaus Mikaelson. She saves him from Alaric at the school by putting Alaric to the ceiling. Klaus stops her and they briefly talk then she leaves. Katharine sends a vampire to exact her revenge against Lucy but Klaus saves her.
