Sleeping Snow

Chapter 1: Two new friends...uh..sorta.
Hicca and Merida sat close to each other. Hicca was accepted at the Gryffindor table, highly because of her intelligence.
"So, who do ye think is goin' to get sorted into our houses?" Merida asked. Hicca shrugged, "I dunno...oh hey! There's Jack!" Hicca waved to a girl with brown hair and eyes. The girl shot her a smile and pointed to Merida and made a drinking motion. Then she pointed to her head. Hicca bit back a laugh.
"What?! What's the lass tryin' to tell ye?!"
"She's asking if...your head is on fire and if you need water..." Hicca laughed. Merida fumed and was about to retort when the sorting began.
"CORONA, RAPUNZEL!"
"HUFFLEPUFF!"
"OMEN, KARMA!"
"SLYTHERIN!"
"OVERLAND, JACKLYN!" Jack walker over to the hat and put it on. Everyone waited for a long time.
"SLYTHERIN!"Jack smiled and ran over to the table. Merida shot her a glare. She didn't even notice when the food appeared until Hicca held a piece of chicken up to her nose.
"MERIDA!" A girl ran over to them.
"PUNZIE!" A green eyed, blond haired, girl hugged the redhead. Hicca frowned and walked away. She might as well find Jack...
"Hey Hicca!" Hicca jumped and yeard a giggle. She smiled and turned to see Jack standing behind her. She held a baby wolf in her arms.
"He yours?"
Jack nodded, "This is Iviemu!"
"Iviemu? Doesn't that have something to do with winter?"
"YUP!"
Hicca laughed, "Hey, how about we go outside? Catch up."
"We met on the train Hicc, what do we have to catch up on?"
"On getting to know each other better, ah-doih!" Laughing, the two girls exited the great hall and headed outside.
