The grass blew as the trees whistle. The colors of the trees made this place look like some Disney dream and the lake, flowing peacefully. This beautiful scenery made me smile, "I'll miss this place," I said, "It was a great home after what happened."
I continued to run from what it seems like an endless road of life until I saw the professor's lab.
The laboratory wasn't big as it only had a few rooms. The color of it was also nothing special, red and white.
"I wonder what pokemon the professor will have?" I mumbled to myself as the laboratory steadily got closer.
While it was way ahead, I decided to take advantage of it and think of what pokemon I might get.
"A riolu?" I placed my hand under my chin.
"No."
"A regular starter?" I nodded to myself, "Seems like the more likely option."
I then took a look up at the sky. The clouds formed into a familiar picture, a picture that I will never forget —me hugging Mewtwo.
I smiled, it was a good memory that happened on a shitty day. In Pallet Town, I never had any friends, the exception being Professor Oak and my mother. The day my mother died, the day I gained a friend and maturity.
"What good ole me—" My face hit the lab's wall, "Ouch!" I yelped as I grabbed my face. I glared at the wall, "Damn stupid fucking—"
"Well, if it isn't Ash," A familiar voice said, "and I see you have come to have some showdown with a wall rather than to get a starter."
I turned around to see the middle age man I grew with, "Sorry, Professor," I started before pointing at the wall, "but your wall decided to become sentient and wreck my face."
My face of anger couldn't last long as I just had to laugh at my excuse.
"When do dittos become walls?" I began to roar in laughter, "Okay, you got me there." I said as I wiped tears from my eyes.
"Very well, let's just get going." He said as he goes into the lab with me following.
"So Ash," the professor started, "since you're the only kid here that's even interested into becoming a pokemon trainer, and considering you also helped me, you're getting a bonus."
The boy stared at the professor, "What do you mean by bonus?" he asked as the two reached the laboratory side.
The professor just winked, "You'll find out soon enough."
The middle age man walked towards a machine that held five pokemon and placed his hand on it.
"I'll be giving you five pokemon as a thank you gift for all the hard work you did for me." He said as he gestured Ash to come forward, "One of them is only starter level because she didn't have a trainer."
Ash nodded and then frowned, "The only one that didn't have a trainer?"
"Oh, the four of them had a tragic past." The boy's face sadden, "What happened?"
The professor sighed, "Let's start with the Umbreon."
The day was disastrous: thunderstorms, raining, and mudslides were quite frequent that day. The worse of it was the thunderstorm, it struck a prison nearby and killed almost everyone, except for one man.
The trainer of Umbreon was Jack Bishop, and he was a talented trainer. The boy was about to reach his seventh gym badge until a mudslide occurred, severely injuring him.
That day, I was called to help the boy. But, when I got there —horrifying! The one freed convict had killed the boy and most of his pokemon, the exception being Umbreon.
Once the man got contained and executed for his horrendous crimes, I decided to take Umbreon with me.
After that day, Umbreon has become so cold and distant, that it would even attack me in just one look.
"I am glad the monster got what he deserved," Ash said, "If not, I would of beat him to death."
I nodded in agreement, "Yes," I started, "Now next is Espeon."
Sabrina —one of the eight Kanto region gym leaders —had parents, though, she had lost control of her psychic abilities and was consumed by it, this killed both mother and father.
Espeon —the pokemon that helped her family a few occasions —got worried about the safety of the girl, so she confronted her.
Sabrina decimated the poor girl with an alakazam. I remembered the first time I saw the poor thing, it was horrible.
"Enough," Ash wiped a tear, "I don't think I want to hear the details of her injuries."
"Okay," I said.
"Next is Dragonair."
Dragonair always liked her trainer, even if she treated her like garbage. That streak, however, ended once Elisa Devoli —her trainer —smashed the pokeball.
Apparently, after losing her fortieth battle, the trainer just decided to dump her. I found the poor thing laying on the ground with blood leaking out.
"Okay, stop!" Ash said with tears flowing down, "Who could be so cruel to do something like that!?"
Ash was always emotional about these type of things. As I placed my hand on my forehead, I sighed, "I guess some people have no heart."
Ash's fist clenched, "If I EVER meet someone like that," he looks up, "I will give them hell."
"Anyway, next is Braixen, and hers is—"
"Please don't tell anymore."
I nodded, "Okay, hers is almost the same as Umbreon's anyway."
Ash whispered a thank you as I took one of the pokeballs.
"This one right here"—I showed him the pokeball—"is a pikachu."
Ash nodded, "Okay."
I grabbed all the pokeballs and gave them to him, as well as an additional ten empty pokeballs.
"Here's your pokedex," I told him as he takes it, "since you have done so much over the years, I made your carrying limit at twelve instead of at the usual six."
"Goodluck Ash, become a pokemon master and show this world what you made of," I told the boy as he walks out of the laboratory, "and make sure to change your underwear every day ..." My alarm went off, "Oh god! Not my burrito!"
"What region should I go through?" Ash said as he thinks of the seven nine regions he knows.
You see, there are a bunch of different regions, all filled with pokemon and pokemon leagues.
"Why not Kanto?"
Thank y—wait, who said that!?" Ash turned multiple directions to see no one near him.
"Look under your hat."
Ash took off his hat, only to see nothing, "Okay, my mind has to be messing with me." He said as he shakes his head.
"Check in your jacket."
Ash sighed, "Why would I check there?" He asked, still thinking his mind was playing tricks on him.
"Just do it." The voice sounded female once Ash thought about it.
"Okay, but if I ..." Ash stopped and stared at what was in his jacket. The creature was a pink feline cat, "M-Mew?" Ash whispered with eyeballs as large as saucers.
Mew giggles uncontrollably, "At your service!"
"So let me get this straight," Ash pointed at Mew, "you want to go along with me and explore the world, leaving your tree to die and possibly kill millions of innocent beings?"
Mew shook her head, "I already have a replacement, so no need to worry."
Ash sighed, "But why me though?" He asked as he rubs his head, "I'm not special, and I just started."
"You're the purest of human beings since Sir Arron." Mew giggled as she pokes him with her tail.
"Okay," Ash said, "but what about you getting captured? You're a legendary and will most likely have pokeballs thrown at your every direction!" Ash said, making Mew burst out laughing.
"Young Ash, it is simple," Mew got closer to Ash's face, "they can't capture pokemon that are already caught!" She said, flicking the boy's forehead.
This confused Ash, "And what do you mean by that?" The boy asked.
"Oh that's easy," Mew said as she grabs an empty pokeball, "be right back!"
She pushed the button and transformed into red energy. The red energy got sucked into the ball, and then the ball started to twitch. After about four shakes, it dinged.
Ash only stared in shock, "What the fu—"
The ball suddenly busts open, "And I am back!"
Ash still only stared in shock.
After hours of Mew trying to snap Ash out of it, they finally reached Ash's house.
"Why are we here exactly?" Mew asked.
Ash only smiled, "Getting some stuff for our journey."
Mew pouted, "Oh don't worry, it won't take long." Ash said as he pets Mew.
The boy walked up to the door and used a key to unlock it. As Ash walks inside, Mew went to one of the rooms.
"Tell me when you're ready," Mew yelled from the room, "I'll be laying here."
Ash nodded, "Okay!"
The house on the inside was taken care of well. All walls had simple, yet beautiful flower designs. And the white background also helped.
"Let's see what I should get."
"Here we are," I smiled, "Kanto!"
"Before we continue, we should talk to the others."
"You're right, Mew." I replied, "Everyone, come on out!"
The sun flashed a ray of light around the boy and Mew as he threw the pokeball, giving them the spotlight.
What am I thinking of making another chapter so quickly? I don't know, but I guess I'm in overdrive.
Anyway, let's get to the noting.
I still have yet to let the pokemon out of their pokeballs. Chapter 3 will start with them coming out.
Also, next chapter will have a lot more advanced words, especially since I like to use complexity.
Anyway, next chapter is going to be Ash finally meeting his pokemon and going through route one. Hopefully, it won't be difficult.
Thanks for reading, see you next time!
Edit: I forgot to mention, I didn't do the description of Mew like I did with Mewtwo since Mew is extremely simple. Also, I didn't do that boob thing as Ash is used to it at this point, but I will describe the pokemon once chapter 3 comes around.
