Chapter one: Good Morning, what's so good about it?

"Johanna, get up! It's the first day of school!" a harsh voice penetrated my conscience. My eyes opened, revealing a blurry view of someone who could only be my mom.

"Can I have my glasses?" I croaked. My mom moved out of my view. When I sat up, she was back. "Thanks, mommy" I slid the glasses up my nose, everything slipped into focus. I saw my sister still asleep in the bed opposite me. "Mommy, why did you wake me up first? Why not her?"

My mom starts, "You're older, Johanna, plus you get the first turn today." I leaped out of bed. YES! I think.

As I cross to my mom's room, across the hall, which houses the computer, I hear my sister waking up. I sit in the chair in front of the computer and start up the Sims 3. My sister storms into the room and spots me sitting in front of the computer. A scowl instantly mars her otherwise pretty face.

"What are you doing?" she asks me.

I respond with a smirk, "Well as you can probably see I am playing on the computer, good morning by the way." I turn back to the Mac in front of me. And select the family I want to play with. My sister turns to my mom.

"I want to play the computer; Johanna always has the first turn." I turn around, "I do not" I respond. My mom steps in between the two of us. "Johanna, get off the computer." My mom gave me a pointed look. "What?" I defended myself, "you said that I could have the first turn."

"Johanna you are the older sister, let your sister on." My mother ordered. I rolled my eyes, "yes sir" I grumbled. I got out of the chair to make way for the princess also known as my sister. She flounced into the seat and turned to me, "I wonder what would happen if I broke up your girl and her boyfriend." She taunted. I turned around, "you wouldn't" I hiss, "watch me" she smirked.

I turned to my mom, my eyes wide, hoping that she would get the message. She did and turned to Aviva, "you are not allowed to do that, do you understand?" she said halfheartedly. Aviva didn't even look up.

"Yeah, sure whatever." She flipped. I stormed to my room. What a lovely way to start the day.
