Ch.1
I awoke in a dimly lit room that slightly resembled an office, cluttered with t.v. monitors and little kids' drawings. I looked around and noticed that there were two doors that were made out of solid steel, built for keeping things in… or out.
"Where am I?" I thought. I walked over to the right door and opened it with a button. I looked around warily, all clear.
I walked down the hallway, my hand tracing the wall, as it was too dark to see. This place was a labyrinth, passages and doors leading everywhere and nowhere. As I walked the darkness started to get to me, I could've swore I saw something like a shadowy figure, I turned and looked around, but it seemed to be made out of pure darkness.
I wandered for what felt like hours, going deeper into the building.
I started to feel a draft, and my heart rate climbed as it got stronger. I ran towards it, seeing light creep around the corner but I slowed as I started to notice that the light was flickering. My hope turned false as I peered around the corner.
I realized I had made a complete circle. I was in the office again, but now a monitor had come alive and was buzzing with energy. I walked into the eery room slowly and cautiously. The only monitor that was activated was the one labeled "Pirate's Cove".
Suddenly, I heard he violent tinkle of glass breaking and all the lights in the office turned on, as did the other monitors. I looked closer at one of the screens and was greeted by the sight of three animatronics convulsing mechanically and creeping towards the office. I walked over and shut the metal door that I had opened before. As the door hit the ground, there was a pounding noise of metal slamming against the doors.
I curled up under the desk and thought to myself, 'This is going to be a long night.'
